Casting Call for Iroha Tamaki | Project Mokyuu: Magia Record Fandub
Project Overview
Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story is a mobile game spin-off of the critically acclaimed 2011 dark magical girl anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
Project Mokyuu aims to produce a high-quality English fan-dub for Magia Record’s Arc 2 content, which will likely never receive an official English translation.

This casting call is for the role of Iroha Tamaki. We are recasting the role because our previous voice actor for her can no longer fulfill her responsibilities to the project because of life circumstances.
We are looking for a dedicated and responsible voice actor for the role of Iroha Tamaki. Please be aware that Iroha is the main character of Magia Record and that voicing a character with Project Mokyuu is long-term commitment. You will be expected to be on-call for any content in which your character appears. In short, before joining Project Mokyuu, be sure that you have the commitment and responsibility for the role.
Because of the recast, the new voice actor for Iroha Tamaki will be on an accelerated recording schedule. While Project Mokyuu is a “for fun” project which avoids monetary transactions (in order to to avoid copyright issues), we have made the decision in this case to offer a one-time “recording incentive” (amount negotiable) to the newly cast voice actor for Iroha Tamaki in order to make the necessary accelerated recording schedule fair to the new voice actor. With this accelerated schedule, we hope to catch up to the others VAs by the end of March 2023.
If you are selected and accept the role, you are obligating yourself to a long-term commitment to be this character's voice actor. Project Mokyuu tries to respect your time and is willing to accommodate VAs when/if life circumstances arise to the best of our ability.
The deadline for auditions is February 19th. Casting decisions will be made public as soon as we can after the deadline.

The main character of Magia Record and the leader of the Kamihama Magia Union, Iroha has grown from an unsure rookie into a determined leader. Stubborn, idealistic, and kind, Iroha dreams of all Magical Girls being able to live in peace.
Under normal circumstances, Project Mokyuu does not offer payment as our project is "for fun" and does not generate any revenue (as to avoid copyright issues). However, for the voice actor casted for Iroha Tamaki, we will offer a one-time recording incentive (amount negotiable) for Iroha's new VA to be put on an accelerated recording schedule in order to catch up with the other voice actors. The newly casted VA will need to be available for at least one day during the week of February 20th-26th for orientation. We intend to have Iroha's new VA caught up with the other VAs by the end of the March.
