[Casting Call] Cuphead the Unofficial Musical (Chorus & Miscellaneous Characters)

Project Overview

Based on the bestselling 2017 video game "Cuphead Don't Deal With The Devil". Cuphead is in the style of an old 1900's cartoon. The video game and musical is about two cartoon characters Cuphead and Mugman. They run into the woods playing and accidentally end up on the wrong side of the tracks and enter The Devils Casino! Inside, the two brothers find themselves on the winning streak but just as the game was about to be won, the casino's owner, the devil himself comes out. The devil challenges the two brothers, win one more role and all the money is theirs, but loose and he'll have their souls! Despite Mugmans warnings, Cuphead grabs the dice, SNAKE EYES! The two boys plead for their very lives and the devil makes an exception. He tells them to track down and get the contracts of his other debtors and he will spare them, but they only have 24 hours. Cuphead and Mugman go out on a fun-filled and unforgettable adventure throughout Inkwell Isle. They learn important life lessons and make new friends along the way. In the early month of May 2018, KeenebeanKarr opened up auditions for Cuphead the Unofficial Musical. In a short span of 3 months, have we already almost filled up the casting call for the main characters of the game. Following the official script, while we're waiting on the last 8 auditions for the major roles, this casting call is for miscellaneous roles within the script, and a casting call for chorus members. Gingerbread Girl is a small child and resident of Sugarland in Inkwell Park. One of many Sugarland subjects, to which the Baroness considers all of them her children. She leads Cuphead and Mugman to Sugarland, in search of Baroness von Bon-Bon, but things go downhill, from there, and she pleads for the Baroness to stop attacking Cuphead and Mugman.

This space is honestly for anyone who wishes to simply try their hand at singing without signing up for a role. Any miscellaneous cast member will of be apart of the chorus depending on if they want to, but you also can sign up to be apart of the Chorus. Vocal range is to be considered.

  • Sing something beautiful. NEW REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET, in order to play the voice of chorus. We are looking for a total of 6 voices for the role of chorus, Soprano, Mezzo-Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Baritone, and base.
