Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie (FULL English FANDUB)
Project Overview
For the first time, experience the movie as it should be with the English fandub of the 1999 Japanese anime film, "Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie"! The film shows Sakura Kinomoto and friends going to Hong Kong when they encounter a powerful spirit who was hurt by Clow Reed in the past.
The visuals, plot, and character names will be the same as the original release, but the voices and sound effects will be recreated with an alternative soundtrack. The project has zero budget and that this is for fun. If problems arise, I might take the project down.
WRITERS: You need a clear understanding of the series.
VOICE CAST: Watch the Japanese version of Cardcaptor Sakura and the movie to get a better understanding of the characters a bit more. You can find the stuff you need either on Crunchyroll, Netflix, or in your local library. The biggest recommendation I need from you is to get a microphone that'll work and will remove any background noise and popping sounds. (When you're chosen, don't record it right away. We'll be setting up recording sessions so that you can get your chance of recording the lines.)
Music Composers: I recommend you listen to the original soundtracks for the anime/movie to get a better understanding of the music needed.. I also recommend getting either FL Studio 32-bit, Ableton Live, or any DAW you're comfortable with.
A few things I also want to add:
1. Discord is required. It's easy to create your own Discord account if you're new to it. I'm opening the Discord up to anyone who wants to audition: https://discord.gg/aU4mXXCQcM. If you're not comfortable, I'm available on Twitter.
2. Recording Sessions may vary. Whenever time I have to participate in these sessions is the time and day I'll be available. (Life comes first)

Welcome Casca as the voice of Clow Reed! This was upvoted 13 times. Plus, he's a really good guy to be around with at times. That leaves 6 more characters for you to audition and more than likely a few crew spots open. RELEASE! -
Yukito's VA Filled!
Yukito has a voice! Even though there was one audition in, I think sakasajinel did an excellent job replicating his voice. But there's still more characters and crew members to be filled! -
Music Update
After looking at the 5.1 surround mix of the original, I realized it's going to be complicated to recreate the score. Now it's set to have an alternative inspired by the film's soundtrack.

Tomoyo is Sakura's best friend who videotapes the adventures and builds battle costumes for her card captures. She's kind and one of the more popular in Sakura's elementary school for her singing. (Too bad we don't see it in the movie).

Kero's the guardian of the magical cards in the series, the powerful Clow Cards, created by Clow Reed. He picked Sakura after the cards came out of the book and had slept 30 years before the episode's beginnings. He loves food, and would do anything to get his paws into the delicacy. He cares for Sakura and appreciates her help in collecting the Clow Cards. When the gang won a trip to Hong Kong in the movie, he feels excited that he's returning home for a winter vacation, but feels a much powerful force could be behind it.
Kero needs to sound closer to how he was originally portrayed by Aya Hisakawa.

Toya is Sakura's big brother who calls her a "kaiju"/"monster". Although on the outside he seems cocky, he secretly cares for his little sister, making sure she doesn't go into danger and will do anything to protect her. He likes to hang out with Yukito, and at the start of the film, is working a few shifts.
Toya is one of the few characters where he needs to sound close to both Tomokazu Seki and Tony Sampson (Cardcaptors: The Movie version).

Syaoran's mother and mentor to Sakura. Yelan is one of the decedents of Clow Reed, hence why she feels the presence of both the Clow Cards and a much greater force that would mean danger to Hong Kong.

Madoushi is the main villain of the movie, who was trapped in the spirit world by Clow Reed after she lost a battle to him. She loved Clow Reed and wanted to tell him how much she cares for him, but was too hateful to him. As Kero explained, she came to Hong Kong to tell fortunes with water. Clow Reed came by and told him of his future and it came true.
Madoushi is the only other voice role that need to sound close to both portrays by Megumi Hayashibara and Nicole Oliver (Cardcaptors: The Movie version (Su-Yung))

Sakura's friendly rival on capturing Clow Cards. He is the descendent of Clow Reed and has a crush on Yukito. He goes to his home during winter vacation and is a bit worried on what his mother would think of his report card. He knows something is wrong and would help Sakura in anyway he can. Although a minor role for the movie, he's still one of the main characters of the series.
Syaoran needs to sound the closest to how he was interpreted by Motoko Kumai.
