Project Overview
What is this?
A look behind-the-curtain of Lakeside High School’s production of Cabaret, told through the Sims 2.

Rules
Please have a CLEAR MICROPHONE. iPhones work just fine as long as there is no background noise.
REPEAT the line two or three times, reading the lines in a different way for each take. Don’t be afraid to lean into the genre!
Be RESPONSIVE. I give actors one month to turn in their lines, as well as any extension that may be needed.
UNDERSTAND the character. Go past reading the lines and get in the headspace of the character.
Please note that because the project is a musical, singing abilities are REQUIRED for some roles. Please record your vocals acapella.

Voice: Sweet, young, able to sound very unhinged when performing as Sally Bowles, must be able to speak/sing with an British accent
Info: A humble freshman theatre kid who winds up cast as the leading lady.

(acting as Sally Bowles, terrible British accent, very over the top) For example, if I should paint my fingernails green - oh and it just so happens I do paint them green! Well, if anyone should ask me why, I say, "I think it's pretty!" Yes. “I think it's pretty, " I reply.
