Good day all, we are looking for two voice actors for our stop-motion animated short: Plagued
There's a bug in the system
About the project:
Plagued is a stop-motion animation we are creating with a small team of 4 students. The animation will be around 2,5 minutes long.
It's a story about mental health with creepy vibes, set in a dystopian world. Our main character Treesa finds herself in a empty city full of anti vermin signs. She becomes increasingly entangled within her fear of being unwanted by society just like pests. The question being: Will she cope under pressure when confronted with her fear, while being chased by an exterminator? And how does therapy help when dealing with such anxiety and fears?
We are currently looking for a voice for Treesa (early 20s, female) and Therapist (50s, male).

TREESA - The character is a caucasian young women in her teens (16-20 years old). At the start of the animation she will "wake up" by a vague light, where she will find herself inclosed in a dark space. Someone will talk to her but the voice is like an echo far away in her mind. She will answer the voice in a calm but confusing tone of voice, she doesn't know where she is. Later on in the animation she will be chased down by a monster, her voice needs to be clear but a little scared and disoriented. We also would love some sounds of her being out of breath from running, a little like hyper ventilating sounds. At the end of the animation she will wake up again, she will be rest assured by a therapist that all will be well. Her tone of voice at the end will be of relieve, some deep breaths included.

THERAPIST - The therapist is an old man in his late 50-70s, he is a little fat and doesn't give people a second thought. We would like an english accent mixed with a rich tone in it. He comes from a wealthy family. We would love some different takes on the therapist, including one where he is very monotone and boring.
