Vi is loud, sarcastic, arrogant and selfish, having wanted to enter Snakemouth Den at the beginning of the game for her own personal gain. She is also shown to be somewhat cowardly, as when the Spider appears for the first time, she abandons Kabbu. She does however care for her friends and is perfectly capable of tolerating them, even when they end up annoying her. She is also very greedy as shown during many quests, where she often asks for a reward after completion. Unlike most bees, she isn't snobbish and uptight. She dislikes bees who act as such.

(Annoyed) Aaaaand we just spent all of our berries on some metal. Great.
(Angry at Kabbu) YOU DUMMY! You almost got yourself burnt to a crisp!!
(Having a panic attack) I-I can't stop shaking, I can't - I-I-I can't calm down, I can't stop shaking, I... I can't even close my EYES b-b-because i-it's watching us... I-I can't breath, I can't breath, I CAN'T-
Kabbu is level-headed, chivalrous and brave while also acting as a selfless friend. As a "Veteran of the North", he is knowledgeable in combat and survival skills, which helped him in his travel to Bugaria before meeting Vi. He is also shown to be extremely loyal to those he cares about, as he traveled all the way to Bugaria to fulfill a promise he made to someone. Despite his good heart and intentions, he is quite talkative to the point where Vi has to ask him to stop from time to time. Regardless, he is respected by his teammates and is proud of his position as the leader of Team Snakemouth. In truth, what appears to be a brave and loyal beetle willing to help people at no cost, lies within a broken soul, hiding a heavy burden that weighs on his shoulders. This can be hinted with a feeling of sadness when he is the only one in the team to be in an awkward situation, or a feeling of distress when one of his friends is put in critical danger. But overall, Kabbu remains one of the most courageous and kind-hearted members of the team with a strong will to help other people in his surroundings, even if it's only for the good cause.

(Sad.) ...oh. I...I'm sorry, team. I... only wished to protect you both from the flames.
We spent all of our berries to make her life a bit richer, wouldn't you say?
The Wasp King is a menacing power in Bugaria. He rules over the Wasp Kingdom, and wants nothing more than to rule over the entirety of Bugaria, and to crush anyone who opposes him.

Tanjerin states that he walked from the Eastern Lands to Bugaria to train abroad for an unknown purpose, and he is apparently oblivious to most forms of danger. He's very prideful and thinks of himself as a "champion of the people" despite Bugarians seeing him as only strange, cute, and unintelligent. He is very competitive and boastful, as he would be willing to fight Team Snakemouth for treating him like a child and he claims to be among the strongest bugs, if not the strongest. He loves his girlfriend Cerise, a fellow Fruity Bug that may be referred to as a "Cherry Bug" for her resemblance to a red cherry and cherry blossoms. Cerise has given Tanjerin the nickname "Tanjy".

(Happy) Cerise, did you see the way I took down that boulder?? I'm really strong!!
Cerise is shown to prefer sleeping underground, and seems to sleep a lot. She seems to be mostly unaware of her surroundings, as when first spoken to she claims to not know what a jail is. Similar to Tanjerin, she's also not very smart, but she's much sweeter in personality. Cerise is a bit childish, giving Kabbu an affectionate nickname: "Uncle Iron Seed". She fixates on Kabbu specifically because he resembles her own kind the most out of the members of Team Snakemouth, not recognizing the other two's species, having initially believed them to be monsters. She gives helpful advice about digging, having learned to do so to avoid danger. She has attempted to eat a Crystal Berry, stating that it does not taste good.
She cares a great deal for her boyfriend Tanjerin, expressing great joy when reunited with him after traveling all the way to Bugaria to bring him back home after being gone for too long. Both of them are horrible with directions, but somehow managed to find their way to the Golden Settlement regardless of the perils of travel.
