Jasmine: Mom, I have to go somewhere after school so I might be home a bit late.

Jasmine: Nothing, it’s related to a school project.

Jasmine: Mom, Dad, I am off to school. See you later.

Jasmine: Love you too, dad. Bye.

Jasmine: Umm, it's alright, we are doing good.

Jasmine: Dad, What are you guys hiding from me?

Jasmine:(Confused) Sure.

Jasmine: (Comes down the stairs) Mom, Dad.

Jasmine: Yes, what is it?

Jasmine(Shakily): Oh, that is so good to hear. This is probably the (pause) best gift I have ever had.

Jasmine: I am sick, Dad. I don’t want to go to school today.

Jasmine: Nothing. It was a long day yesterday, so maybe that’s why.

Jasmine: Okay, dad, I’ll be there in a moment.

Jasmine: Oh, Dad, I don’t know.

Jasmine: I haven’t thought about it yet. I’ll tell you later.

Jasmine: (Angrily) Family. (She said it as she is opposing her dad)

Jasmine: Oh, and what about my respect? Did you guys give it a thought?

Jasmine: Oh, Dad. You guys should have discussed it with me at least before spoiling my birthday party. I expected better from you.

Jasmine: (She starts crying) Make me happy? No, you didn’t make me happy. You have no clue about what makes me happy. I was pleased with my normal life. I don’t want uninvited guests to be part of my family. My friends are making fun of me. Thank you for making my life hell.

Jasmine: (She is on the phone) Fine.

Jasmine: So, do you think I am abnormal?

Jasmine: Dad, You should stop this. If you had cared about me, You wouldn't have spoiled my birthday party. Did you think a sibling could make me happy? Well, you were wrong. It would never be the same now. All you do and think about now is the baby. 

Jasmine: I am just done with it all.

Jasmine: (Cries) I am sorry, mom and dad, for hurting you. (She catches sight of her brother and walks towards him and picks him in her arms)
