But they act like hoomans.
It's confusing... The only reason they're cats is because it's easier to animate lolz.

Once upon a time, there was a woman.
Her family was slaughtered,
and she wanted revenge.
She sought after a witch
who gave her a book
and she used it to call on the devil.
The devil made her collect souls
to create an army to cause chaos on Earth.
But one of the souls escaped
and found cats who could stop them.
The storyline's kinda confusing but it's ok :)

Jerry is the main protagonist of Breaking Luck. He is a college student but the school he goes to is never shown. He had a roommate, named Charles, who was found murdered one day a few years back. They never found who did it. One day, while packing up to move out of their shared dorm, Jerry finds a picture frame and accidentally breaks it. Inside it is a note, signed "Breaking Luck" Which leads to a series of events that lead Jerry from one extreme to another. Now he's trapped in between the living world and Hell, and his job is to stop literal Satan from waging war against the living world.

Brooke was Charles's girlfriend and Jerry's sister. She only appears in the first and last episodes, however.
Jerry! There you are. Something told me you'd be here... Still miss him, huh? Me, too.
C'mon, let's get you home.
The Masked Cat. Periwinkle is the one who takes Jerry to Breaking Luck. Her plan is to stop Lucifer and his accomplice Card Minder.
Hurry, dear, the others are waiting. We don't wan't to annoy them now, do we?
Rude "Muscle of the group" kinda guy. Has more strength than brains.
I agree with the green chick, you expect a bunch of random people to come willingly defeat Satan in the flesh? Ha, no.
Jerry's love interest. Soft-spoken and kind.

(Later line in the series) KiiMii! (Key-Me) How could you do this to yourself!? So... That's why you cover up? To hide what you do to yourself?
One of the supporting characters. High pitched bubbly voice.
(Snide) And I don't think some of us seem capable enough.
(Later line in the series) I- I didn't even MEAN to kill her she just... (Quietly) She attacked me first. (Suddenly loud) But of course you wouldn't believe me.
(Later line in the series) Velvet! We've been friends for years! Why don't you believe me? We came here together, and we'll defeat the devil together.
