Boruto Manga Fandub
Project Overview
Hi there! This is a call for a fandub for the Boruto Manga. I've looked around and from what I can see, there isn't one currently out. I'm not a huge fan of the Boruto Anime, but the Manga is phenomenal! I think that many more people would be open to reading the source material if someone was voicing over it, so I thought it'd be nice to do it myself. The casting will be for the first 5 chapters to start off, then slowly progressing to get more voice actors as more characters are introduced. I'm excited to see where this will go. If it gets any sort of popularity, I would be willing to pay, but for now it's more of a passion project.
Voice Actor
Boruto is loud, energetic, and stubborn not unlike his father. However, compared to his father at his age, Boruto is more refined and crafty, seemingly knowing all the shortcuts, as well as more mature in knowing how the world works. Between the two, he is more sarcastic. Unlike Naruto, Boruto doesn't yell what he feels, which is the biggest difference. Despite his laid-back attitude, he is very diligent.
"Dad's former rival? This guy must be... so friggin cool!"
"To think that you'd be this strong Kawaki!"
"Let me be your disciple! There's someone I have to defeat.. at any and all costs!"
Voice Actor
While Sarada is friendly, sociable, and polite, she has a fierce temper similar to her mother's and doesn't back down from an argument.
"Don't let your guard down! It might look like a cute panda, but that things a violent bear!"
"I'm the one who will become the Hokage!"
"From where I stand, your father is awesome... can't you cut him some slack?"
Voice Actor
Mitsuki has a very calm and matter-of-fact demeanour. He is generally seen very cheerful, if not indifferent, towards the situation at hand. While not confrontational, he freely speaks his mind in any situation, and does things at his own pace. He is also shown to have a sharp wit, being well-read and observant, showing advanced knowledge in mathematics and about the history of other villages.
"I think we have more pressing matters. Our top priority should be subduing this "bear-panda.""
"A three man team is required to enter the Chunin Exams. Without your assistance, we cannot participate.""My parent told me the history of the Byakugou no Jutsu. There's a lot to it that remains unknown"

Boruto's dad is awesome. He's lost most of his childish ways as he is now the Hokage. His voice needs to be calm.
"The important thing is to pass down our legacies property."
"Konohamaru! What are you teaching this boy?"
"Are you implying that Boruto has more in common with us than I think? I wonder...I sure as hell don't see it."

Konohamaru has also grown up quite a lot since Shippuden. His voice should be adult, but still childish enough to know that it's our beloved Konohamaru.
"Yeah, doesn't even require chakra. Which ultimately means you wouldn't need to be a ninja to use it"
"Dammit! I wanted to give him the Chuunin Exam application before he..."
"And you can fire it!"

Sasuke is a stern and standoffish man who's definitely seen his fair share of things, so his voice should be deep.
"You must be Naruto's son. Your name?.."
"I ran into your kid. He's the spitting image of you when you were that age."
"Heh.. you numbskull.."

Hinata hasn't changed much. She's the kind and caring person we've known her to be.
"Your father he.. He just puts the needs of the village before the needs of his own! He's not neglecting the two of you on purpose, understand?"
"But your situation is night and day compared to your father's! He has always been there for you."
"The Hokage plays a very important role.."

Himawari is a toddler who is always happy, so try and be enthusiastic!
"Guess who's birthday it is! Let's go home and par-tay"
"Bring in the cake!"
"Hey big bro!"

He's a scientist while, although good in nature, is devious in ways during the first part.
"Pardon the intrusion."
"In the next Chuunin exam would you be so gracious as to allow the usage of "Scientific Ninja Tools""
"It will be my pleasure. By the way, will you be participating in the upcoming exams too, young master?"

Moegi is similar to Sakura in the sense that she is kind on the outside, but when provoked can become infuriated.
"And so.. these are the application papers for the next Chuunin exam, here you go"
"Of course, give it your all, got it?"
"Those must have been some pretty persuasive letters..."

Similar to Shikamaru in every way. He is lazy and unmotivated, but is incredibly smart.
"What a pain.."
"You know.. it's only enjoyable if you grind the levels slowly... gives me a reason to hide from my mom.."
"He's right Moegi Sensei. We wouldn't stand a chance."

Chocho is similar to Choji in many ways. She is always looking for something to eat and doesn't like to be called chubby in any way.
"Lo-ud and clear. Something about chewing exact communication, right?"
"What got into them all of the sudden?"

Inojin seems rather obedient and the most reasonable of the new generation of the Ino-Shika-Cho trio, as he, unlike his teammates, insisted on going to training to learn the Ino–Shika–Chō techniques. At the same time, he can be very blunt and indifferent to people, situations and the feelings of those involved even to the point of being condescending
"But we're still rookies, I don't know if..."
"Hey fatso, are you even listening?"
"Oh yeah! We're supposed to meet up with Boruto today!"

Shikamaru is lazy and unmotivated, but is easily one of the smartest, if not the smartest character in the show.
"What a drag.."
"You're always overdoing it. I'll finish up here, go home and get some sleep."

Stemming from his harsh childhood, Kawaki is shown to be highly aggressive and vulgar to people he dislikes or opposes. At the same time, he can remain calm and collected when questioning strangers, such as when Kawaki listened to Konohamaru's explanation about himself and his team. When not letting his temper get the best of him, Kawaki is shown to be very observant and problematic, easily reading the flow of battle before him and how best to react.
"I'll be sending you to meet the 7th... Boruto"
"The age of the ninja.. is over!"
"He knows everything. If we're to solve the mystery of Karma, that is a wall that we must inevitably overcome"
