Boku No Hero Academia OVA dub
Project Overview
A fandub of the OVA of the anime My Hero Academia! This is somewhat of a 'test run' - if it goes well, then we will start dubbing the rest of the series, and more characters will be added to the casting call.
You're more than welcome to audition for multiple characters, and please record two or three takes of each line, so we can see your range of emotions. Also, keep in mind, for the OVA, not all characters have very many lines--some have less than three, but if we continue the series, most characters will become more prominent in the series and have more lines.
We plan to take as much time as this takes for a good product to come out of it. With hard work, the OVA will be out in a month and a half after the closing of this page, and the episodes will probably follow this line of time. We acknowledge that things take time and we want the best product possible with the least amount of stress.

Deep, heroic voice (like old fashioned superheroes). Must also be able to sound a little bit rough around the edges for when he's not in his "All Might" form.
"Plus Ultra!"
"Make sure you survive!"
(nervously) "T-They think I'm one of them."
Medium-deep voice. Usually monotone and rough-sounding.
“Why don’t you shut up first.”
“I’ll leave it in your hands then.”
“What a huge mess.” (sigh)
High, feeble/shy sounding. He's the nervous protagonist!
(nervously) “I hope nothing bad happens in this exercise."
(shocked) “Aren’t you taking this a little too easy?”
“Now isn’t the time for fighting!”
Medium, obnoxiously angry and conceited. Wayyy too arrogant and aggressive.
“SHUT UP, SHIT NERD!”
“Only three seconds, what a weak quirk!”
“If you're going to start a fight, start a fight you can actually win!”
Medium, warm voice that's almost always cheerful, but also slightly skittish in alarming situations.
"Let's do our best, Deku!"
(excited) "What a relaxing plan!"
(scared) "I can't help but feel uneasy around her."
Medium-Low voice, exaggerated and dramatic tone. Often a little too loud.
"Settle down, Bakugou!"
"Ours has trouble admitting that he's in the wrong."
"We too, ask for your forgiveness!"
Deep, mysterious voice. He's a very serious character.
“If the quirk-user is down, then there’s no way to reverse all of this.”
“Midoriya, how long do you think that zombie quirk lasts?”
(thoughtful) “A frontal breakthrough…”
High-medium voice. Very responsible and respectful.
“Yes, but it’s a stressful job.”
“He’s back with his team. Distance 100 meters.”
(stern) “Apologize!”
Medium-toned voice. Incredibly angry and arrogant. Bakugou's biggest enemy.
“Don’t get all friendly with these UA guys!”
“A delinquent as the top student? UA seems to have gone downhill.”
“Heh, you should have used *real* missiles.”
High, feeble sounding voice. Very nervous and self-conscious.
(timid) “Fujimi says a lot of nasty things, but he’s not a bad person at heart.”
“Truthfully, I don’t like fighting.”
“Of course, it’s for the team!”
High-pitched voice, shy but generally bubbly.
(smitten) “I’m so jealous of UA!”
“I won’t lose Tsuyu-chan!”
“That Bakugou person is amazing!”
Medium to High voice, possibly a little gruff. Generally happy-go-lucky.
(shocked) "You're too good as an ally!"
"Survival training?"
(startled) "Bakugou, where's the enemy?"
“Hey pretty lady, can I get a number?”
(whiney) “At least give us a chance!”
“Like some Battle Royale thing?”
High, pinched or nasally sounding voice. Calm
(touched) “You remember me as a zombie too.”
“I’ll make sure to make plenty of friends too!”
“Everyone, aren’t we forgetting that this is a survival exercise?"
Medium-low voice, angry and annoyed.
“Damn it, stop showing off your stupidity.”
“Bakugou’s voice, only one person’s footsteps.”
*pained screaming*
Deep-Medium voice, confident but not brash or arrogant.
“Bakugou, you’re advancing too quickly!"
(shocked) “He defeated eight people alone?”
“Don’t worry about it…”
“All we need to do is survive like all might said!”
“Ururaka, how about a snack?”
(scared) “Hey, what do we do?”
"What the hell is this?!"
Medium-Low, cool/mysterious voice. Brooding.
"Go! Dark Shadow!"
(Dark Shadow) "Aye!"
"Dammit!"
High, weak/puny sounding voice. Generally viewed as annoying and crude.
"She's a glasses girl!"
"That was mean..."
"Get stuffed!"
(curious) "What?"
(serious) "Something's coming!"
Generally a higher voice. Wayyyy too flamboyant. Dramatic as hell.
(confident, ironically) "Too confident!"
"I've got him!"
(dazed) "Merci..."
