Bob the Builder: A Christmas to Remember - Fandub Casting Call (Supporting Cast)
Project Overview
I am on the search for some talented actors to lend a voice on a few supporting (and secondary) characters for an upcoming non-profit fandub to the 2001 Bob the Builder special Joey Wiggle and I are producing for the holiday season.
In the film, Bob, Wendy and their machine team prepare the holiday festivities, for Bob's twin brother Tom (who works far away in the Arctic Circle) plans to come for a visit. But the preparations soon go awry when the Town Hall gets wrecked by a wayward fir tree, Lennie (the rock star of the band Lennie And The Lazers) loses his voice, and poor Tom misses his boat heading South. But things soon take a miraculous turn when the talented Elton John takes center stage, and a mysterious Santa Claus joins the party, shaping up to be a Christmas to remember.
While I understand it's highly unlikely most of you have ever heard of, or even watched Bob the Builder much, my first recommendation to those who are new to the show is to give this special a watch, and hopefully, you'll understand the aesthetic charm of why it's an underrated classic for many who grew up with the classic series. And I know some of you may have the right to decline if re-dubbing an already perfect English dub isn't ideal to get invested on a voiceover project (especially since it's copyrighted material). But for any passionate voice artist who aren't too afraid to put their own unique interpretation on a kids cartoon they love (especially if it's one from Mattel), you're more than welcome to go diverse with this project.
What I Am Looking For:
• Actors who have experience and effort in creating convincing character voices
• Good character impressions to resemble the original UK voices
• Good quality audio from good quality microphones like Zoom H1, Shure, Blue Yeti, etc.
• Ability to shout/yell while acting (not settling with fake yells)
• Good acting quality for each recording to be approved
The full dubbing master (with music and effects) is only available for auditions I approve, and members can DM a link request to access the ZIP package for final rehearsal.

Bob's business partner and best friend. She excels in handling other work while Bob handles building, most notably craft-based jobs. She is also kind and sometimes stubborn for reasons when it comes to doing things herself.

Bob's orange tilting-drum cement mixer. She is the only female and the second youngest machine in Bob's building yard. She is eager, curious, easily excitable and dances around the yard when anxious. She does have a soft spot for friends, and she is always ready to lend a helping hand.

Oh, Bob... it was brilliant! Me and Roley went to the Lazers’ studio, and we saw them rehearsing and everything!
I heard you and Lennie talking about the North Pole, and I thought I’d come along too! So that I could meet...Santa.
Bob's green steamroller who is laid back and very musical when it comes to making up songs, particularly rock and roll. He frequently spins his eyes (which are on his front headlights) whenever he's excited. He is also a big fan of pop rock musician Lennie Lazenby with his band, The Lazers. When one of the band players gets stuck on writing a song for their Christmas concert, Roley is eager to help out on making the gig an immense spectacle for the townspeople.

A yellow snowmobile who helps Tom clear snow from paths, rescue lost critters with the help of Tom's husky Pogo, or gives him rides around the Arctic Circle.

The building inspector of Bobsville and Barbara Bentley's husband. He is very particular, detail orientated, and sharp. He cares about getting the job done, and making sure the said job is done well. He does not let one detail slide by, and will make sure that the job meets every requirement, and meets the mayor's expectations.

Oh, Bob! I...I was beginning to worry. Time waits for no man, you know? The new mayor's very keen on punctuality. Now, that's have that hard hat. Pity you're in your work gear. We don't got a tradesman's entrance.
That’s the fairy for the top of the Christmas tree. We won’t need her until tomorrow.
[gasps] I say...!? The mayor will have something to say, if she sees that, let me tell you, this won’t do at all!
First accounted as the new mayor of Bobsville, her early days didn't turn out well, as she demanded more than was possible. She had a colder relationship with Mr. Bentley, whom the previous mayor highly liked, and at first, she could not remember his last name correctly. Quite the opposite was her soft relationship with Banger, the roadie of Lennie And The Lazers. Nevertheless, she is more than generous to make her concert project (delayed or not) worth showing to the younger townspeople, even if she's not a fan of pop music.

A busy farmer who runs a farm nearby Bobsville, and a good friend of Bob who often helps out in his construction projects. He is the owner of Travis, Scruffty and Spud. He cares for his machines, and acts as a father figure to Spud, who often tells him off for causing trouble with Bob's work.

A Bobsville resident, and a kind friend to Bob and the crew. She attends the Town Hall festivities by decorating the Christmas tree, with some slight help from Spud, who she thought would trust him to behave.
