Blood Brothers - A Minecraft Movie (Voice Actors Needed)
Project Overview
INTRODUCTION
Hey, there! This is a casting call for my upcoming project named Blood Brothers. It is a part of a large Minecraft superhero franchise that will explore many different stories and genres. The film has its 183-page script finished, and all the sets have been prepared in addition to all the skins. I am a newcomer to directing but I’m motivated and I’m willing to put the work in to get this film out to the world, and I’d like to have some good-quality voice acting.
I have a YouTube Channel where you can see a playlist full of my other smaller animated projects in addition to a teaser for this project. If you’re not cast for a role, do not worry, you will most likely voice a background character (i.e, security guard, police officer).
REQUIREMENTS
Please have clean audio and good recording quality. Avoid having any static, background noise.
You need to be able to yell and be able to have serious and emotional acting.
Lastly, all you need is discord, make sure to include your discord tag in your audition so that I can message you if your cast.
The deadline for auditions is the 11th of September so please submit your auditions before then.
Additionally, I want all you voice actors to know this is a long-term experience, as there will be multiple stories most likely including your character within the franchise. So keep that in mind during auditioning, that you’re okay with doing this for a while.
SYNOPSIS
A group of thieves is separated when they are children, but upon reuniting after 7 years, they realize they’ve all chosen different paths in life and now they must work together with the different skills they’ve acquired over time to save an underground city from a war.

Axel Pena is a fiery, tough, brave, and confident 19-year-old boy who craves to return to the innocent days of his childhood. For almost all his life he’s been abused and sheltered away from the rest of the world, and this makes him lash out easily when he gets stressed. So while having this naive, fish-out-of-water personality as he learns new things, you can see that Axel has seen a lot of traumatizing things at such a young age.

You KNEW what you were doing to me! And you didn’t stop! I was just a KID and you ruined my life!! You just keep throwing your LIES around like it doesn’t mean anything!
(Sad / Realization / Imagine you’re looking off into the distance, reflecting on your life.)
Sometimes I just wish so badly we could go back, back when we were younger, the world was black and white, and… there was none of this violence. I guess things didn’t go the way we expected.
(Happy / Laughing, bantering with old friends, teasing each other.)
Honestly, you were the slowest on the whole team (laugh) I’m not wrong! Every time, someone’s telling you to hurry the hell up!
When Axel is younger, he was more energetic, naive, and eager to help out. He's only featured within small flashbacks so this is not a big role.

Come onnnn, please just trust me on this one! I can do it, I just need, uhhh, a few bombs. BUT it’s not for what you think! I’ve got a plan.
Jace Pena is the passionate, cocky, and arrogant older brother of Axel Pena. He’s the leader of his group of friends, and he’s a hard-working guy, though he can act a little cold towards others due to how much he has to do by himself. He has this ego and feeling that everything should always be in his control, he’s not used to losing. Though he still plays around with his friends and cares deeply for them, Jace’s main flaw is the fact he can be very obsessive and he holds grudges toward people and he struggles to forgive them, is more narrow-minded, and is not willing to see other points of views.
You can perform the lines in any order you’d like, as long as you leave small pauses in between each one.
(Aggressive / Shouting / Intimidating)
Get the HELL AWAY FROM THEM! (pause) You think I’m SCARED of you?! Trust me, if you lay a SINGLE hand on them, I will not wait a SECOND, to tear you apart. What?! You gonna HIT ME?! Then GO ON, HIT ME, I DARE YOU! GO ON!
(Lecturing / Sound somewhat Angry at first but after the sigh, sound more sympathetic)
Listen, you need to understand that THIS, isn’t a game. None of this is, alright? This is serious, it’s dangerous. (realizes he’s being too hard) *sigh* I’m not trying to be hard on you but I’m trying to keep you safe, you understand me?
(Emotional / Trying to Calm Down His Brother)
Hey, hey, Axel… it’s okay, just breathe. (pause) Don’t worry, we’re gonna make it out of this, I’m your brother… I would do anything to keep you safe.
Brie Rimmer is a calm, organized, extremely intelligent girl with a sarcastic sense of humor. She’s more likely to be quiet and overly kind to people as she’s more socially aware than the other boys around her. But when she gets close to someone, she opens up and likes to show her more fun side. Though she likes to stay professional, taking her job and responsibilities seriously.
(Curious / Investigating)
Hmm, the criminal you guys caught was holding a rifle, correct? Well, I don’t think he was working alone. Witnesses heard a barrage of gunfire, but look – the injuries on all of these people. Just a single shot through the head. This was definitely more than a robbery.
(Shocked / Surprised)
No… no… it can’t be. You can’t be here. I must be dreaming, this is NOT happening!
(Sad / Heartbroken)
Guys! PLEASE! Stop it!! Stop FIGHTING! This is WHAT he wants, he WANTS us to fall apart, and he wants us to be separated. We need to stick together, that’s the only way we can survive.
Connor Mitchell is the cocky, loud-mouthed entertainer of his band of friends. He constantly keeps everyone’s spirits high through the way he teases everyone and has tons of banter with them. Though Connor can be pushed to his limits, he does have a very angry side that comes out often. But he is still truly a brave, charming, and protective person.
(Angry / Bitter)
You people really think you can do whatever you want, don’t you? You don’t even have to worry about where your gonna sleep at night, but you still want EVERYTHING handed to you.

Hey, you guys know I can just take the guard out, right? Come on, I was trained on the field and all that shit, just gimme a hockey stick or something – easy I’ll knock him out.
(Somewhat Shouting so others can hear him / Teasing and making jokes during a battle)
Hell yeah, I’ve stolen one of your cars, like a ninja, your cocky asses never even knew I was there! You know, just a little trust in me would NOT hurt you! Just saying!
Malia Cole is an extremely violent, aggressive, and headstrong girl whose first instinct when someone threatens her friends is to fight back. Malia won’t wait for a second to protect the people she loves, she’s very sensitive on the inside but her tough exterior stops her from showing it. She’s the exact opposite of her friend Brie, preferring the energetic feeling of battle rather than planning or organization.

So what, I’m now just supposed to trust you? If you think that by freeing me I’m gonna forgive you and become your dog? (pause, now sound angry) Go to hell.
Ignis is a manipulative, strong, and greedy crime lord. The main villain of this story. He’s an absolutely awful person, as his motives boil down to him wanting power and control. He’s self-centered, narcissistic, and egotistical, as he believes that he deserves to rule the world, that he’s the “master” and that everyone else should bow down to him.
(Angry / Explosive)
Don’t you TALK TO me like that! Do you know how long I’ve been working here? 20 years? You HEAR ME?! Twenty Years! And not once, not ONCE have I ever had to deal with someone like you.
(Manipulative / Trying to take advantage of someone)

I know what I’m doing. I have a plan, and if you want to be a part of it, you shut your mouth and DO what I tell you to.
Deepslate is a leader of a clan. Even though he’s greedy and is attempting to take control of a whole city, he does show more respect to his members and will protect them, only if they are useful to him. Deepslate is still a bad man as he will get rid of anyone in his way, but only protect those who could benefit him in the future. Whether it’s by them helping him get money or by them giving him protection.
(Intimidating / Somewhat angry and serious)
Even if we do win this battle, there’s still a large war coming to the Underground. And if we want to survive, I’m gonna need you to be stronger…
(Passive-Aggressive / Threatening someone but acting nicely due to other people being there)
If you’d like to keep your jobs, I suggest you all do exactly as I say and get rid of whoever is infiltrating this facility, yeah?
