Project Overview

"Am I my brother's keeper?"

"Blasphemy" is a short 2D animated film that follows the main characters, Cain and Abel, as they discover what brings them together and how it can easily shatter. Throughout the film, we learn about Cain's true nature, his place in the world, and how Able and their family have dealt with the secrets they keep.

This film will be for my senior graduate film here at my college.

Main character

Cain is a twenty-something-year-old man who has yet to discover he's a demon. That was until a fit of rage revealed his actual form. He's a big softie who loves nature and plants, often spending hours outside enjoying them.

  • As a child, he was adopted into a human family. He transformed into a human to match his new parents and, over time, forgot about his true self.
  • He is soft-spoken and doesn't like raising his voice unless he is upset or angry.

Abel is a twenty-something man who herds sheep for a living. He is very laid-back and does not take anything too seriously, often getting him into trouble.
