a generally cheerful but sadistic individual. His emotions can alternate unpredictably from enthusiasm to anger. He also loses interest in things fairly quickly. Alois often uses harsh and impolite language such as "bloody" or other expletives, regardless of whom he is speaking to.
[to Luka] "They should all die! All of them! Everything, annihilated!"
[to Claude] "Then show me those eyes. Not the eyes of those villagers who looked as if they'd seen a pile of vomit. Not the old man's greedy, inflamed eyes. That day, those eyes. Those eyes that longed only for me, Claude."
"Hoheo taralna, rondero tarel!"
Despite his appearance as a courteous and excellent servant, Sebastian is actually a heartless and sadistic demon. He expresses these traits in a very passive and sarcastic manner. [A slightly deep, yet somewhat light voice that's soft and elegant and slight seductiveness]
"Unlike demons, you’re base, you harbor a complicated malice, you lie… You struggle desperately, knocking down others in your way… You steal and are stolen from, you make endless excuses… And still you strive to get over the hill and far away. I suppose that’s why humans are so interesting."
"Humans cannot reject temptation. When they are plunged into the depths of despair, likened to hell, they will hold on to anything that may help them escape from the situation they are in, even if it's merely a spider's thread, no matter what sort of humans they are."
"I'm simply, one hell of a butler..."
Ciel is an arrogant and shrewd thirteen-year-old boy who holds numerous exalted positions. Ciel is very strict, proud, and accustomed to a luxurious lifestyle. He refuses to stay in a meager environment for long periods of time.
"Phantomhive is a shadow, a phantom that exists soley to obliterate the sorrows of Her Majesty, The Queen. Step into it's den, and you can never hope to return to the light"
"...I've long since forgotten...how to smile...joyfully."
"I did not return to Phantomhive for the sake of the previous head. I returned for myself. All I want is to give those who betrayed and defiled the name of Phantomhive a taste of the humiliation and pain . . . that I suffered. Checkmate"
a strong-willed and cheerful girl with a fondness for cute things. When disagreed with, she is prone to temper tantrums and bouts of self-centeredness. She imposes her sense of fashion and preference upon others and doggedly refuses to take no for an answer. [Use a light, warm toned small voice.]
"Dancing with Ciel, who'll be wearing an outfit I picked out. It'll be like a dream come true! I have to dress up and look my most stylish to!"
"It's a relief Ciel is acting like his old self again. Since he was so close to Madam Red, I was worried. I don't want Ciel to have any more bad memories. That's why I do what I can to cheer him up."
"This uncute appearance...I didn't want you of all people to see me in such a state. But...this time i'll protect you!"
naïve and tends to burst into tears whenever he has done something disobedient or witnessed something immoral. [A cutesy male voice that is innocent.]
[Cheerful] "Mister Sebastian told me not to touch anything in the kitchen 'cos of my super-strength."
[On the verge of crying] "We didn't have a thing. No home, No friends, no freedom. All of these things, every single thing, was given to us by the young master and Mister Sebastian..."
[Serious and Sincere] "The young master doesn't give me injections every single day like those other people did. Young master doesn't make my friends and I kill each other. Nor does he keep me locked up. I love this place. And that's why I made up my mind. I'm going to protect this place!"
He seems rough, but is a caring guy. He speaks with a rough tone in his deep voice.
[Sheepishly] "I had alot of meat to cook so I, er...I used my flame thrower.."
[Seriously, Sternly, inspiring] "Listen!! What's our job? We protect this household. We protect the young master. Isn't that right? So we can't afford to be rash, right now. Think back to when they took us in. Back then we...couldn't do anything but kill. Well, what about now? Why would that super human who could do anything on his own, persistently teach so many things to such incompetent and slow learners? Wasn't it so, in case something happened to him, we'd be able to protect the young master and the manor!?"
over-the-top, flamboyant, and outspoken. Speaks usually in a very dramatical tone.
[to Sebastian] "Such an ice king you are! A beautiful tyrant! An angelic devil! A raven with the wings of a dove! My little lamb with the appetite of a wolf... My very own Sebastian DARLING~~!!!"
"Even if I'm like this, I'm still the butler of DEATH~!"
[To Sebastian] "Oh, Little Sebas-chan, I do love red the most. Hair, clothes, lipstick, I love them to be red. That's why I love using fresh blood to do make-up for those ugly women. The more flamboyant a woman is, the more she's as beautiful as a poisonous flower, right?"
has a distinctly apathetic personality, speaking and acting emotionlessly. His voice is soft and plain at the same time, unlike Sebastian's.
Yes, your Highness."
"Day into night, sugar into salt, living to dead, and dark blue into gold. Thats what makes a Trancy butler."
"If he made a ripple in the long, long lazy life of a demon, then Alois Trancy's soul also was worth cracking open..."
Has a bit of a crush on Sebastian, as she often blushes and becomes even clumsier when in his presence. [When panicked or happy, use a clumsy, high and slightly rough voice; when serious, her voice is more mature and stern.]
[Serious; To Peter] Always Follow the young master's instructions. Welcome the master every day with a nice, clean mansion...that is a maid's job. When there's filth here...I get rid of it!"
[Serious] It's useless...No matter how far a little rat runs. I can see it clear as day."
[Panicked, Frantic; To Sebastian] Sebastian![Sebastian: "What is all this?"] I used thirty cups of detergent, just like the instructions said, and now the bubbles are out of control, yes! I don't understand!
