From mortal Rosalina to La Crimson Muse, Crimuse is now is the goddess of roses, rebellion and ravishment. She, once out-ruling her psychopathic family, followed in Astrid's footsteps- creating a circus of her own, trapping souls, breaking families, all for power. Crimuse is a main character of Bitter Rose Wine, haunting the audience with her sweet, breathy sounding voice.

At 23, Annabeth is one of the immortal twin ringmasters of the circus, holding serious ties with Crimuse. She is more polite, proper; especially due to her existence since the 1800s. Her voice is soft, commanding and slightly playful.

Dylan Brooks is a 25 year old soul trafficker. He comes from a family obsessed with legacy and expectation— willing to do anything to keep control. Inside of the circus, he’s both an enforcer and manipulator, capable of terrifying efficiency; but also capable of a twisted kind of loyalty to those he deems worthy. His voice carries calm authority, with an undercurrent of menace or sly amusement, depending on who he’s speaking to.

At 23, Eliza is one of the immortal twin ringmasters inside the circus, holding serious ties with Crimuse. Her authoritative nature inside the tent contrasts to how she was 'meant' to act in the real world; until becoming blessed deathless in the circus realm. Her voice is cold, harsh and demanding.

[UPDATED!] Hollis-Grey is the Narrator (and somewhat the Creator) of Bitter Rose Wine- starting and finishing the series. Originally goddess Astrid Turner, she was soon punished for her defiance against godly rules, whispering to Rosalina to take her place- causing them to 'transition' during Storm Astrid. Now Hollis-Grey, she was banished to holding the role of the 3rd person, marrying spirit Penelope Winsome to keep her linked up to the Circus. this character has a confident, playful tone of voice- sometimes sarcastic and cocky depending on the voice line.

At 16, Antonia is apart of the family's unfortunate curse, as well as being the girlfriend to Linnet Asquith. She is a guitarist, with a voice softly-spoken but tense; carrying intelligence and subtle defiance. She sounds caring when with Linnet, but wary and almost haunted otherwise.

At 16, Linnet is apart of the unfortunate family curse, as well as being the girlfriend to Antonia Murphy. She's dry, sarcastic, and confident- carrying sharp humour even under stress. Her voice can be playful or icy, usually depending on who she's speaking with.

Grace is 14 years old; Cousin to Antonia, sister to Owen. She unfortunately is too apart of the family's curse, and is determined to find a way to stop it. Her voice is sweet but strong; warm and slightly hesitant. Her tone often conveys thoughtfulness and loyalty, all while being nervous around Jay-Jay.

Owen is 13, and too apart of the family's unfortunate curse. He is the cousin to Antonia and younger brother to Grace. His voice is usually calm, conveying trustworthiness with a quiet intensity.

Silas is a 15 year old acrobat and illusionist inside of the circus, who ran away with the help of Dylan, due to his family's abandonment. His voice is loud, energetic and passionate. He is slightly reckless, carrying confidence and thrill-seeking energy.

Roxanne is a 15 year old 'Master Of Fire' at the circus, who ran away with, of course, the help of Dylan and 'Her'. Her voice is smooth and graceful, even sarcastic at times; with an underlying undertone of knowing.

At the ripe age of 13, Viola is the youngest in the circus, taking the role of the ballerina who wears knives under her shoes. She is known as the 'pick me' of the circus; her voice loud, airy and deceptively sweet. (picking 2 people for this role...)

Diego is 14 years old, Spanish, and the motorcyclist of the circus. He's confident and adventurous, with a casual, but fun sounding tone of voice.

Elsie is 15 years old, Twin to Penelope, and run away to the circus becoming their ribbon dancer. She can be seen with underlying darkness, especially when around her favoured sister, and quite literally being the cause of Penelope's death... Her voice is smooth, elegant and eerily calm.

Now an eternal spirit, Penelope is a ghoul who is married to Narrator Hollis-Grey, and seen as a haunting figure to the narrative. She has a burning desire to take revenge on her twin Elsie, even when seen on the outside as soft and gentle. Her voice is ethereal and distant, sometimes echoing slightly, like she's not in the room.

Jay-Jay (also spelt JJ) is a 15 year old barista at the local café his family owns, also where the Murphy trio often visits. He's known for his consistent flirting towards Grace, as well as having a playful, teasing aura. His voice is usually condescending and mocking, especially towards Grace.
