Billiards club short
Project Overview
I am looking for four voice actors 3 males and 1 female for an unpaid project. The project if a short storyboard scene. Description of the scene is below. This is my first project but I am excited to work with others. This project was created to put a spin on the idea of criminal ongoings occurring while running a club. the main four characters all come from different backgrounds and are seen as the rejects of their world. the owner of the club Eight gave the rest of the characters a second chance by having them work at the club
In this scene the main 4 are setting up before the club opens for the night. It opens with Six, Ten, and Seven talking with each other. Eight enters the scene giving Six a new task and announcing he will be leaving on an unknown trip. As soon as Eight leaves Ten begins to question his integrity, with Six defending Eight. Six brushes off the accusations made by Ten and leaves to finish his task. The scene ends with a questionable look at Eight, Six still defending Eight.

This is the owner of the club. He is very secretive. He will often leave the club to go do business with his various partners. The club as well as Eight have rumors about some criminal activity but nothing has ever been confirmed. He is a swanky, Swavy dude. He’s got a very calm but intimidating voice.
“It’s fine anything they break they owe me.” [said in a subtly threatening way]
“Six. Schedule.” [punctuate, it is an order]
“What are you willing to give me?” [bargaining you hold the power in the deal]
“Pleasure doing business” [sly you've closed a deal for more then you asked for]
“Is there a problem here? I’d like you to know that I take problems very seriously.” [calm threatening]
“Have you just been sitting there this whole time?” [disappointed]
“Is there a reason you are bothering me?” [stressed]
Six is the club's longest working employee. He was the first hired when the club was first opening. Six handles most of the day to day on goings of the club. Making sure that everything runs smoothly. He is the most expressive of the group because of this he is often mistaken for being younger than he actually is. He is constantly stressed with a racing mind. Mumbles to himself often when thinking out loud or explaining. Very devoted to the job. Not every assertive or confident unless dealing with orders/work.
“I swear if my order is late AGAIN. We’re going to have a problem” [angry]
“There are a few things I need to run by you. We have to order about..15 extra tables. (Mumbled quickly) which is more than we budgeted but if I moved a few things. I might be able to make it happen”
“I’m 25! Why do people keep thinking I’m a teen” [upset/frustrated]
“Yes sir, I’m on it!” [enthusiastic]
“Why are you asking me this? I don’t have the time to answer” [stressed and distracted]
Ten is the club's bartender. Most of the time his is calm but does have anger issues that can cause outbursts. Majority of the time he makes a lot of jokes. He is skeptical of his boss and isn't as trusting of him as the others are. Despite having gotten the same kindness as the others.
“Shouldn’t you toughen up if you’re going to work here?” [said as brotherly advice]
“So am I fired yet?” [sarcastically]
“Alright pal time you head home.” [said while escorting costumer out of the club]
“Cry me a river” [sarcastically]
“Hey I tried to make that drink for you. Nearly got fired cus that.” [defending himself]
“Are we going to have a problem? I’m itching to throw someone out” [said with anticipation]
Seven is the club's singer and performer. She is very sarcastic, and straightforward with her words often others to view her as cold or uncaring. She does enjoy joking with Ten during her breaks and is a caring person. She is a recovering alcoholic.
“I’ve seen you come here often” [suspicious]
“Sorry but I’m not on the market” [disinterested]
“God you’re both hopeless” [defeated]
“A valiant attempt, good sir!” [enthusiastic]
“I picked my poison, now I’m in the detox phase.” [said reflecting, having accepted her process of recovering from addiction.]
“Actually I’m on my break so could you take your stale cigar stink to the other side of the bar. A lady needs her rest” [bluntly]
