Beware the Alien Freaks: A Tails + Shadow Spin-Off Animatic
Project Overview
We are making a 20-minute pilot animatic for a fan-made Tails and Shadow spin-off series, ala the Knuckles Show. As of right now we only plan to make the first episode, but depending on fan engagement, we have not ruled out making more. If this does end up happening, you would not be expected to continue voicing for the project if you don't want to, but you would be the first person we reach out to about voicing future episodes.
We plan to have the pilot animatic finished by spring of 2026. We would request anyone lending their voice be available February of 2026 for script reading, as that is the month the script should be fully finalized.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be 18+.
Good sound quality.
Discord required. We'll have a discord server for project communication and live readings.
Availability in February. This is when we should have the final script for voice readings.
NOTE: This project does NOT use or endorse the use of generative AI in any way.

NOTE: The 'Grunt' role is not a role meant for one individual. Every VA who is okay with it will get a couple of background character lackey lines. We encourage anyone auditioning to also read for the Grunt character. Give us your best Grunt-sona!
There are some characters in the pilot who have voice actors already. The current cast includes:

TO NOTE: THE VA FOR THIS PART WILL LIKELY DOUBLE AS OUR NARRATOR FOR THE OPENING SCENE OF THE PILOT (same idea, retro sort of corny 50s horror movie guy).

Mom energy, has the habit of Getting Stuff Done.

- In this project, he's the Big Bad. Leader of an army trying to take over parts of Mobius.

- Classic Disney Villain Energy. He's having a great time being bad.

History: Speedy (aka Battle Kukku XVI) was a recurring boss and rival to Tails in the game Tails Adventure (1995).
Son of the main villain. Set to inherit the Battle Kukku Empire. Out on the field a lot.
Many interpretations welcome (could be more masc, femm, high-pitched, etc.).
Might have a duality about him - proper and militaristic around his father, with his attitude coming out when alone with Tails and Shadow.
