Project Overview
I wrote a fanfiction for a genderbent version of Beauty and the Beast and I'd like to turn that into a recording!
Summary: When Beau stumbles upon a castle in search of his mother, he finds himself in an adventure he never wanted. Or perhaps it what he always wanted and he just can't see it yet?

I don't believe we ever properly introduced ourselves. I'm Beau. Do you have a name I can call you? It seems rather rude to keep referring to you as 'she', 'her', and 'Beast'. (A: It's Adrianna) That's a beautiful name.

(furiously) It's over! With you out of the picture, Beau will be mine!
That's it! I'm giving up! I am done trying to do this! No, I mean it this time. I have tried a million times and I just cannot get this recipe right! I'll just never get it right!
Well, what about Gabriella? She's a pretty little thing. (B: Oh, she's pretty. And stuck up, rude, conceited. She's definitely not my type.) Don't worry, son. I'm sure that there is someone out there for you. Maybe you just haven't found her yet. All you need is a little time.
Listen to me, Beau. There's something inside this castle! You need to get out before it gets you too! There's no time! You must get out while you can! Please, get out, Beau! Now!

angry, animalistic voice when in Beast form, but begins to soften once she warms up to Beau
(growling) What do you think you're doing? Do you realize what might've happened had you touched this?! I told you this place was forbidden!! Get out now!! Just GET OUT!
(gasping for breath, as she is dying) You...you came back. Beau, ever since you read that story to me, you've been my Romeo. I'm just glad...I got to see you one more time.
(restored to human form) Beau! It's me! (a beat) I love you too.

I wanted to know why you left. Do you still like us? Did we do something to upset you?
(calling for him) Beau? What's going on?
It was just another ordinary day in France. The flowers were in bloom, the sun was high in the sky, and the town was just waking up and going about their daily lives.
Beau began to follow them, but he could see the library any time. This may be his only chance to really see what this girl was hiding from him. He slowly climbed the stairs and when he reached the end of the hall, he saw a mirror that had been smashed. Perhaps she hated her appearance? Who wouldn't?
Beau watched in awe and wonder as her paw glowed and turned into a human hand. Her leg glowed and turned into a human foot. Then her face glowed so bright that Beau had to shield his eyes as all of her fur was whisked away and left a human face behind.
Ah, hello, Beau! Lovely to see you again!
This one again? Why, this is the third time you've wanted to borrow it!
Beau, why don't you just take it home with you and keep it?
My name is Cora, the official head of the household, appointed by the mistress herself! Delighted to meet you!
That was perfect, Your Grace! I knew it would be! Everything's going to be just fine. (A: No, I let him go) You...you let him go? But...why?

(to Adrianna) Sweetheart, you must help him see past what's on the outside.
Your Grace, the castle is under attack! We must do something! They'll kill you!
Well, then perfect! You fall in love with him and then he falls in love with you and then the spell is broken and we'll be back to our old selves by midnight!
(quickly) Nothing! The mistress is hiding nothing! I promise!
There will be romantic candlelight, some soft music, and when the time is right, you will tell him that you love him. (A: But what if he doesn't feel the same way?) Madame, I think he does. (A: How can he love me? Look at me!) Well, you care for him, don't you? (A: Of course. More than anything in the world.) Then you have to let him know. How else will you ever know about his feelings?
