Project Overview
Z.A.T.C.A (Zaila And The Crystal Auras) is an original animated series that is on progress right now. Its gonna be a fully animated Youtube series.
What's the story?
Zaila, a teen from our modern era, had her 9th birthday and she had a really special gift from her father: A Crystal Aura, a powerfull necklace that can't ever be removed or given to someone, because if that happened, something bad could happen after to her universe. However, Zaila's life changed since her father's death, when she was 16. She had no choice but to give her necklace to a woman she met, who promissed make everything better or even make her father come back to life. It didnt work that well, and her entire universe could be destroyed, but for her surprise, there's more universes than she could imagine.
Entering a new universe she never saw, she met Bryan, a boy that knows about that stuff more than she does. Then, the adventure for finding Zaila's Crystal Aura begins.
When will it be realized?
We plan to make a mini-episode as a test for animation and VA's. It will be a short video, with a scene that happens in the middle of the series, with no spoiler. After that, we will start working on the script and animation of the series.
What do I need to become part of it?
What we are seaching the most atm is VA's. In this series, there will be lots of characters, so we will need lots of VA's. To become a VA, you need to be active, and have an nice microphone.
Will we get paid?
No, because this is a project made for fun. But eventually, if the series become popular and we gain some kind of payment, we can start paying VA's.
How will VA's work?
Emika will send the VA's a storyboard video with what you should say. Then, you just got to record the audio for what the character is saying.
How will the animation be?
It will be a cut-out animation made with Toon Boom Harmony, made only by Emika for consistency.

Zaila is the protagonist, and she is the Orange Crystal Aura holder. She is determined, courageous, and such a big dreamer. However, she has a little low temper and can be emotional sometimes. She is energetic and fights for what she wants. Over dramatic, yes. She can be cute sometimes.
I like thinking Zaila has an american medium to deep (please not TOO deep) determined voice. Of course, it can change, and I'm here to hear your voices so i can see if someone surprises me >:) Also, prepare yourself for lots of fight scenes!
- Hah! Zaila is on her way!
- Can you stop? Yes, I gave my necklace to someone, now what?
- Wha- What do you mean by we got to find another way? Like- we gotta go back?!
Bryan is a protagonist too. He's energetic, skillful, self-taught, but lowkey egocentric and basically does'nt know what the hecc is happening. Sword fight is with him! He loves being sarcastic and joking around, but he is a cinnamon roll deep inside. He really cares for Zaila: their friendship is really important to him.
I like thinking of Bryan with a medium strong voice, but ofc it can be different, Im totally open with all kinds of voices >:)
- Haha! You better watch out because Bryan is coming!

- Look, between coming back all the way around or doing nothing, I prefer that we just gotta climb this no-ending mountain.
We are trying to find a nice theme song for our fantasy adventure themed animated series. Something that could work as an intro for the series. As a high point of the theme song I want an iconic melody.
