The Batman has been dead for five years. The Joker has been presumed dead for some time now. Living with the loss of Alfred Pennyworth, Jim Gordon, and the murder of Nightwing himself, Dick Grayson, Bruce Wayne has retired to living in the light with his fiancé Elizabeth Miller.
Must be able to record shouting.
Some night I wake up to the sound of sirens, my heart starts pounding. Sure. Then, I remember... After Dick was murdered, it stopped being about justice. Started being about revenge. Here’s the thing about blood. You develop a taste for it. Then a thirst. I was putting them in the hospital. And it wasn’t enough. I wanted to kill them, each one in that endless parade of freaks. And I knew if I started killing, I wouldn’t stop.
I had no choice. I didn’t want it to come to this. I wanted you to do the right thing but you just wouldn’t let up. But now I want you to remember, Clark... in all the years to come... in your most private moments... I want you to remember my hand at your throat... I want you to remember... the one man who beat you...

Ma and Pa Kent have passed, leaving Clark the family house and farm, where he feels the most human. After years of struggling to maintain life as Clark Kent and Superman, Clark and Lois have opted to part ways. On a planet doomed to kill its own mind, he begins to question his purpose and his place amongst humanity.
Must be able to record shouting.
I’ve spent the last twenty years dictating what’s right, what’s wrong. Which of you can live, which can die. My code. But I’m not one of you. None of this is mine, not this sky, these fields, those stars. Even our flesh is different. I can’t help wondering what it would be like, even for a moment, just to be human.
What's the price for heroics, Lana? Prevent a murder and a murderer goes free. Save one life and scores more may die as a result. What if I don't go in there and read the scan? What if I stopped interfering, just stayed here in Smallville and lived a normal life?

Born to money and power, Lex Luthor has figured out humanity’s purpose: to destroy each other. And he won’t let anyone stand in the way of humanity’s potential. Working with the United States Department of Defense to create a kryptonite bomb that would make Earth poisonous to Superman, Luthor’s premature methods to eradicate Superman have landed him in a security cell in Metropolis Prison.
Must be able to record shouting.
Don't insult me, Kal-El. Our government wanted a kryptonite bomb. They wanted it for the day you woke up and decided it was Truth, Justice, and Some Other Way. That’s the real reason I'm in here, Superman. Because I tried to be rid of you before they were ready.

Poor Superman, so naïve, you'll never really understand us. I have nothing against you. It is your paternalistic meddling I despise. You may have pulled the others along in your tide of self-delusion but I know what you really are. You're an alien invasion of one, here to rob us of our destiny.
Pathetic. Predictable. But pathetic nevertheless. I knew you’d never really be able to do it, Wayne. Kill him, I mean. Kryptonite only in the hilt. He was yours and you spared him. You were addled by compassion. And you. I anticipated having to finish Superman. Delivering the coup de gras. My plan was predicated on it. But you. You I expected more from. I enjoy a zero tolerance policy when it comes to failure.

Clark’s old flame and friend from his Smallville days. Now a doctor, she still resides in Smallville. She grew up with Clark and knows him, now, possibly better than anyone else and isn’t afraid to remind him. She’s one of the few people Clark has revealed himself to, both as Kal-El and Superman.
You’re Superman. Last night you pretended to be just Clark Kent. And I let you pretend. But you're not. You'll never be. You may be alien, Clark, I may be human and that does make us different. But it's our blindness that makes us the same. Human, Kryptonian, none of us knows what our actions will bring. So we act in ignorance. Every day. Every hour. Believing, despite all evidence to the contrary, that we can do some good. It's that belief that makes us common. It's our faith that makes us humane. We do good because we believe in good.

Batgirl retired. Both legs. Father buried, with her taking up his position as commissioner of the GCPD.
That mask doesn't give you the right to kill. You will not cut a path of blood through my city.

Maybe I was wrong. Maybe this is what you want. What you've always wanted. Another excuse to hurt someone. Another call to violence, to cause so much pain that you don't have to feel your own. Maybe the monster’s in here.

From beyond the grave, Alfred’s presence is a holographic A.I. assistance protocol developed by Bruce to assist him the way he would when he was alive. Human or not, he’s the same ol’ Alfred.
There’s been a disturbance, sir. As you predicted. At Citizens’ Plaza. Two very tall and rather lanky men in tuxedos are attempting to steal the Bat-Signal by forklift into, what seems to be, an armored car.

The fiancé-turned-wife of playboy billionaire Bruce Wayne. She’s smart, funny, and almost too good to be true. She is the light of Bruce’s life.
I’ve made you something. For when everything seems at its worst. To show you just how much I love you. It’s a surprise. Not for tonight. It has to be just the right time. Tonight, let’s drink, what do you say? Not for tonight. It has to be just the right time. Tonight, let’s drink, what do you say?

Joker’s weapons maker and dealer. A “reformed” villain and shared nemesis of Batman and Superman who lives his life in hiding, working on “special toys.”
Now you look... I never produced any such weaponry, nor supplied it to any persons of any diabolical purposes! You hear me?! You may take this as my absolute, resolutely unequivocal denial!!

Attention! A delivery truck jumped a curb at the Freedom Promenade. The truck was towing a black SUV and halted at the Freedom Monument. Some guy in a ski mask jumped out and opened fire on civilians. We believe he may have a bomb and attempting to blow up The Monument. I want people down there! Now! We need to be covering this.
I need someone who can mix audio very well because I'm an amateur. But I understand a job like that requires a salary. But, as I have no budget, I can't do that, so I understand if no one is interested.
