Based Binkie Comic Dubs
Project Overview
BasedBinkie comic dubs for the Solus Astorias channel. Permission was given by the artist, Binkie, to voice their comics.
❗❗❗ At the moment, we are just securing roles for VAs. The rest of these are side characters and we're mostly focusing on the main characters and comic dubs for now until the end of the month. ❗❗❗
Auditioning is encouraged as there might be a chance I can work with you with other projects outside of this even if you weren't chosen.
Regarding the auditions for the character roles:
Export and send the recording in .WAV format
When recording the lines, I ask for at least 2 takes minimum.
When sending the recording, please export the file in 48,000 Hz/ 48 kHz sample rate and 24bit (32bit is acceptable).
Regarding payment should you be chosen for the role:
Payment is in $ (USD) transferred via Paypal.
Payment will differ between the characters as each one has varying wordcount. It is not listed at the moment as the scripts haven't been written yet.
The average payment is around $10 per 100 words but can vary. I usually try to pay VAs more depending on their skill, quality, more emotional scenes + dialogue in the script and any extra services they offer or I require. Or if the VA has their own rates, it can be renegotiated.
For the full script, should you be chosen for the role, I may add additional lines in your language, for the final script, translated via Google translate. I'm sure it won't be 100% accurate so I leave it up to you to proofread and make any changes to sound more natural in your language. You will be compensated extra for this. Payment varies depending on the size of translation.

Dutch accent and fluency.
Twins. SelistrA is the sister, SelistrO is the brother.
Selistra is the more sadistic and talkative one, while Selistro usually goes with his sister's antics.
Looking for a VA that can switch between [bratty, sadistic and condescending] and [slightly deadpan and serious] tones to distinguish between the two. The voice doesn't have to differ too much since they are twins. The delivery and tone is more important.

Estonian accent and fluency - although this might change because it's highly unlikely I can find Estonian VAs.
There aren't any Estonian lines (yet, maybe) for Kadri but the artist confirmed she's Estonian.
Kadri is a Commander of a Legion. She's around 54 years old, experienced, has a commanding aura, and doesn't mince words. Despite being the Commander of a legion of outcasts and rejects, she cares deeply for them as she is one herself.
Looking for a flexible VA that can do loud shouting, intimidating, commanding and be fine with some mild profanity. Kadri has a low pitched voice.

Bozena Picklepop is a young adult. She has a slightly low-pitched voice and always talks like she’s tired, given up on life and hasn’t slept at all. She’s always dragging her words.

Insane holy super-soldier weapon experiment goat lady.
The voice acting bar for Benedita is very high. The VA needs to be able to portray her episodes of insanity when she goes off the rails and have the ability to do an evil laugh. Even when she’s just having a normal conversation with someone, it feels like she’s barely able to compose and control herself and should sound quite manic and erratic.
This means the VA should be fine with shouting and sounding like a madwoman and has the recording environment where she doesn’t have to hold back because of neighbours, family etc.

Italian accent and fluency.
Charismatic, funny and likes to be the center of attention. Has an almost seductive drip to her voice sometimes - she likes to flirt every now and then. She has a daughter and is around 37 years old so a slightly older and more mature, deeper voice compared to the rest of the younger cast.
The VA has to be fine with voicing some flirtatious lines delivered in a seductive manner. Since she is a jester, the VA has to be fine with crude, innuendos, and dark jokes (just in case).

Giovanni is the head of the Esposito family. He doesn’t have many lines but he’s important to the world’s setting.
The voice should sound strong, experienced and commanding. Low-pitched voice. He's the equivalent of a stereotypical mafia boss.

Greek accent and fluency.
I need a strong Greek woman. Alexandra has a lot of lines and is very important to the story and setting. It’s an important role.
She is also old - both physically and mentally, as she has lived for more than a thousand years. So her voice needs to sound mature, confident and that she’s experienced most things in life already.
The VA needs the ability to portray her experienced, tough warrior side and her more gentle, loving side. There are some intimate and flirting scenes but nothing overtly sexual. Within the main story, there are some shouting and emotional scenes so please be prepared.
If you can do a younger voice, there is a role for Young Alexandra within the auditions list. If you can do both roles, that’d be great.

Young Alexandra only appears in a couple of flashbacks but the voice would be different enough compared to the Alexandra in the current setting’s timeline.
In the beginning of her appearance, she is scared and innocent. In the next time skip, she is much more composed but brash and hot-headed.
If you can do an older voice, there is a role for an older Alexandra within the auditions list. If you can do both roles, that’d be great.

Maria has two sides: when working, she is driven, motivated and devoted to what she does (she is the head of the Inquisition). Outside of work or when talking to other people she’s fond of, she’s much more relaxed and gentle. Looking for a VA that can do both.
Maria has a strong, confident, commanding voice fitting someone of a high position of power.

Decent amount of both German and English dialogue.
Kiara is the (unofficial) older sister of the Haas main trio despite being the shortest. She’s the most mentally mature out of all of them. She’s experienced, likes to flirt and usually keeps an eye on her younger sisters.
There’s several flirtatious scenes and dialogue with this character. One where the dialogue may have some slightly sexual implications but no explicit NSFW dialogue anywhere.

Decent amount of both English and Russian. If lots of English words scare you, then reconsider.
Lots of shouting. Hope you don't mind your family or neighbours hearing.
Boris is a big guy so a deep voice is necessary. Despite being named and looking like a generic bandit NPC character, he surprisingly gets a decent backstory with lots of dialogue.
There’s scenes where he does the typical video game bandit stuff, then there’s other scenes where he’s monologuing about potentially losing the only person who cared about him.

Keiko is your stereotypical warrior dedicated to the blade and looking for strong opponents to fight with. She sees Flayne, the main character, as her rival. She is confident in her abilities and talks as such. She appears in the main story.
She has some cute/ blush moments outside of the main story.

Unfortunately, Alessio does not get many appearances in the comics BUT you get to voice a 4 page mini-story which is a decent amount of dialogue.
Alessio is a young male. I’m looking for a male VA that can do a slightly high-pitched young adult voice or a female VA that can do a young adult male’s voice.
He is usually reserved and his voice doesn’t have much energy to it. The way he talks is very subtle and he’s not one for big emotions.

Scottish accent.
Since Eilidh is of the dog species of the beastfolk, she exhibits very dog-like behaviour such as wagging her tail and unable to contain her excitement. She has a very endearing, honest and friendly personality.
She also has a very strong Scottish accent, slightly high-pitched voice. The VA needs to exude her boundless enthusiasm. There’s also some slight NSFW dialogue.
Since she’s a dog-girl, she also likes it when she gets called “good dog”. Oh, and uh… there’s a scene where she talks about marking her territory with urine, it’s not sexual but it happens - just letting you know in advance. I swear she's an honest, good character. Please don't walk away, I need a VA for her.

Gleeb is always happy. Gleeb is love. Gleeb is life. If Gleeb likes your face, Gleeb will absorb you and you will become one with Gleeb. Then we are all Gleeb. The world would be a better place if all were Gleeb. You can pretty much use the same tone of voice for every Gleeb line.

Gabryjel “The Hunter” Zima is a straightforward character. He is focused and will eliminate anything related to lycantrophy. He hunts mostly lycans and werebeasts.
He has a deep voice. He’s around 33 years old. Most of his scenes is just him monologuing. He’s also serious most of the time.
