Marmalade Tea is a non-commercial fantasy animation project set in a world where humans can become permanently bound to Spirits, becoming known as Auras.
The story follows Urilii, a young Water Aura whose life is turned upside down after a mysterious accident causes her to wake up in the body of her friend Haana. While trying to understand what happened and find her way back, strange incidents involving corrupted Spirits begin to spread around the remote village of Neverdale — hinting at something much larger hidden beneath its peaceful surface.
The story combines mystery, fantasy, humor and character-driven drama, with a strong focus on its magical world, relationships and the secrets surrounding Spirits and Auras.

Marmalade Tea is an unpaid, non-commercial passion project. While I can't promise payment, I would love to give something back to the VAs at the end of the project and am looking into ways to make that possible as a thank-you for all the work and time put into it.
This is only the first round of auditions, so don't worry if there isn't a fitting character for you yet! A second round is planned with more roles, including male and older characters. I just need a little more time to get those characters ready for casting.
Audition Notes:
Some characters will sing throughout the story. Singing ability is preferred for these roles, but not required — if necessary, a separate singing voice can be arranged. So please feel free to audition even if you don't sing!
Please use a clear recording with as little background noise as possible. Feel free to give the lines more than one take if you'd like to show different interpretations. You don't need to perfectly match the voice description — I'm happy to be surprised!
