While sending out confirmation for roles, I reached the maximum limit for DMs. I had no idea this was a thing until I got it. Apparently it's 20 per month, which isn't rlly a lot... If you receive a DM from an account called yukutsu, that's me! If I run out of messages on there too I'll post an update here saying my new account. Hopefully this makes sense?. -

A highly active and always positive girl. Since she entered high school, she's been searching for something sparkling that could make her heart flutter. Along the way, she encountered a girl with a bright red star-shaped guitar, and since then, it's become her dream to form a girl band. She has a younger sister in her family of 4, but it's not exactly clear who acts like the elder.
My name is Kasumi Toyama, and I'm 16 years old! My band's name is Poppin'Party! We have Rimi-rin on the bass, Saaya on the drums, Arisa on the keyboard, and O-Tae on the guitar. And me? I'm a guitarist and lead singer! You know, when I was younger I used to look up at the night sky, and I could hear the beating of the stars. I thought, "I want to have that sparkling and heart-pounding feeling one day!" I felt that way for a long time. Then, the first live show I ever saw was so sparkling. And I thought to myself, "I want to be in a band too!" Which is why I enjoy being a part of Poppin'Party so much! Then I can be all like bwoww! With Random Star, my red hot guitar.
We'd love for you all to come and see our performance! Hope you'll always support me and Poppin'Party!
She started playing the guitar in elementary school, and is very skilled at it. As a huge lover of music, she started working part-time at a live house upon entering high school. Her favorite item is her blue guitar that she bought using money that she saved. A natural airhead who lives at her own pace, she sometimes surprises the people around her with her unexpected moves. She lives with her parents and 20 rabbits.
Hello, my name is Tae Hanazono. I'm the lead guitarist for Poppin'Party. Everyone calls me O-Tae. It's a nickname Kasumi made for me. Isn't it great? O-Tae. I started guitar pretty long ago, and I played by myself for a while... But Kasumi asked me to be part of a band, and we all decided to make Poppin'Party.
Performing as a band is pretty hard. If we're not all listening to each other, the songs don't turn out very well. Also, our shielded cables tend to get tangled. Y'know, the cords? To wrap the cables, you should go underhand, then overhand. The over-under method. I'm pretty good at it.
Being a part of Poppin'Party is really fun. We rehearse, write songs, eat together, and sometimes even have sleepovers. If you come to your concert, I think you'll really enjoy it. Hope to see you there. Poppin'Party is looking forward to all of your cheering and support.
Even though she wants to change her cowardly and shy personality, she has been unable to do anything about it. The pink bass that she uses is a hand-me-down from her elder sister Yuri, who is 2 years older than her and studies at the same high school. She is a huge fan of Yamabuki Bakery, and especially loves their chocolate cornet.
Nice to meet you. My name is Rimi Ushigome. I was invited to join a band by my classmate, Kasumi-chan. And I thought, "I'll play the bass as best as I can!" At first, I was worried a lot about whether I could really do it... But Kasumi always told me that I was doing okay.
Oh, and the bass is actually a hand-me-down from my sister. She's also in a band, and she's really cool... I'm still pretty bad. But I hope I can practice a lot and be just like her.
Uhm, and uhh... I love chocolate. Whenever there's new chocolate at the convenience store, I can't stop myself from buying it. But I really recommend the chocolate cornet at Saaya-chan's bread shop! The bread is so soft! And the chocolate melts in your mouth! Just eating it can brighten your day. Ah! Why am I talking about chocolate? This is supposed to be about the band... Uhm, I'm not very good, but I'd be happy if everyone could support us, even just a little bit.
A kind person who cares deeply about her friends, she often lends an ear to Kasumi. She is also a filial girl, helping out at her family's bakery, Yamabuki Bakery, even during the school term. She has a younger brother and sister. She apparently used to play in a girls' band when she was still in middle school,
My name is Saya Yamabuki. I play the drums for Poppin'Party. I'm usually busy helping out around the house and watching after my siblings... But I also enjoy time with the band. I was happy when Kasumi invited me to join.
Oh, yeah. My family owns a bread shop: Yamabuki Bakery. Sometimes Kasumi lends a hand, but usually all she does is play around with my brother and sister. ... Just kidding! She always helps out. I do my best through all of the craziness. I think we've got a pretty good group, so I hope you'll come to see our shows.
Her family runs a pawnshop called "Ryuuseidou". Being in indoor person, her hobbies include tending for bonsai plants and internet surfing. Even though she's basically a shut-in, she still manages to achieve excellent results in school. Because her sharp tongue, she often gets into arguments with others, especially Kasumi, but it's usually because she is unable to be honest with herself. She started learning the piano when she was young, but gave up on it halfway.
I'm Arisa Ichigaya. I'm reluctantly part of Poppin'Party and playing the keyboard. A certain someone made me a part of the band against my will, so I'm just doing it because I have to. ... Huh? Who is "a certain someone"? Don't give me that! You! Y-O-U, you!! Kasumi Toyama!! ... The camera's still rolling? We'll cut that last part out.
Ahem... I'd love for you all to come see our performance--Huh? That last part was nothing like me?! Ugh! Would you shut up?! Ever since meeting Kasumi, I just got caught up in her whirlwind. I never even said I would join, and she made me part of the band anyway. I mean... I guess it's not that bad.
I started learning the piano a long time ago, but I stopped pretty soon after. To think I would be able to play again. Uhh... If you're ever free, it might be fun to come see us play... Alright, alright! Cut! Cut! Kasumi! Stop filming!!!
Ran is only child of the masters of a flower arrangement school that goes back over 100 years. She's strong-willed and hates to lose, but she also has a side of her that hates being alone. She's the type of person to treasure her childhood friends and family more than anyone else. She has no particular interests.
Self-introduction? ...Ran Mitake. Vocalist and guitarist for Afterglow. ...How’s that? Do I have anything else to say? ...Not that I can think of...
We’e all childhood friends in Afterglow. We’ve been together since we were little. Because of that, it’s easy to understand each other. We can even tell what everyone is thinking just by listening to them play. ... Moca, though, is a bit of a special case. Either way, our band is fun.
I think the best thing about our group is the music we make. I’m a fan of everyone’s sound. ...! Now I’ve said too much. I’m sure what you have is good enough. We’re done here. I’m not answering any other questions! ... Stop the camera! And quit teasing me...!
Moca doesn't really have anything that she's super into, and is apathetic towards things that don't interest her, but she's the type who will get really worked up about the people she finds important. She likes to keep doing one thing without quitting, and playing her instrument is one of those things. She enjoys collecting point cards and sleeping.
Huh? Are we filming? Yay~ My name is Moca Aoba. First year high school student. Oh, but you can call me Moca. I play guitar in a band called Afterglow, and I like buns. Yeah, buns! There are some pretty delicious bakeries nearby. Why don't we go now? ...Huh? We can't?
Our music? Uh, if I could use one word, it would be "deep." What do I mean by "deep?" You don't get it? I guess that makes sense. Hmm... How do I explain? It's a good feeling. Well, I think if you heard our music, you'd get it right away. The meaning of "deep." You know what's especially amazing? Ran's singing. Of course, everyone else is "deep," too.
Outside of that, hmm... I don't really have anything to say. So why don't I talk about the last bun I had? That won't be necessary? Wait, wait. Hold on. Don't be like that. You know, the last chocolate cornet I ate--Ah. Hey, wait! Let me finish!
Himari is cheerful, good-natured, and is the band coordinator. She struggles to read the mood of a situation, which means she sometimes does things that have no effect. She's weak to tear-jerkers and sentimental episodes, and is easily moved to tears. She enjoys comparing the different sweets she buys from convenience stores.
My name is Himari Uehara~! I'm a first year high school student~! I am part of the tennis club, and I also work part-time at a fast food restaurant. And, and! I play the bass for Afterglow! I'm also kind of the band's leader, too. Though I may not look to reliable...
Our band is made up of a group of childhood friends. I don't know if I'd say we don't work well together or if we just like to do our own thing. ... Ah, sorry. I shouldn't be complaining. We have some trouble here and there, but actually we always have a good time. Really really!!
I said we do our own thing, but when the sound of our instruments come together, strangely enough, we have a lot of fun. So we can probably forgive those who are a bit more free-spirited... Hehe. Mmm-. I get kinda excited just talking about it! Alright! Here we go! Hey, hey, hoh~! Ah! I'm cheering all by myself... Ahh, I'm so embarrassed... Delete that one!! Take two please-!
Tomoe is a pretty chill person who never says anything bad about other people or holds grudges against them. She also keeps the band from falling apart. She's friends with the adults who work in the shopping district, and often attends her hometown's festivals to play the taiko drum. She is interested in fashion and taiko drumming. Her younger sister is Udagawa Ako.
My name is Tomoe. Tomoe Udagawa. I play the drums for Afterglow. Nice to meet you all. ... Is that enough? This stuffs kinda embarrassing. I really don't like talking about myself... Let's see... I have a younger sister- Huh? I guess that's not technically about me. Ya got me.
Afterglow is great. We're close childhood friends... Well, maybe a little too close. But we started a band, and we've got a good thing going. Everyone's personality is a bit strong, but each person also has something that makes them great. That moment when everyone comes together... And five "sounds" at once become "music"... That's the moment I love. ... Our music is the best, no matter what anyone says.
That's good enough, right? I really am bad at talking about myself. If you want to know more about us, I think you should listen to us play. Music can say what words can't. Haha, I think I tried a little too hard to be cool there. ... Hey! Moca! Stop making fun of me! Cut! I told you I don't like doing this...!
Tsugumi is the most normal girl in the band. However, it's because she's so "normal" that she's such a hardworking and optimistic person who rarely gets discouraged. Her optimism really buoys the other members' spirits. She likes collecting bath powder.
Wait! We're already filming?! Uhm, uhh, I'm Tsugumi Hazawa! My family owns a cafe, and I help out there after school! Introduction, introduction... Uhh... Ah! Band! I'm in a band! It's called Afterglow. I play the keyboard. Everyone is awesome and talented and... Anyway, it's a great band.
Our members have all been together since we were kids... And anyone would be happy to be friends with them. People say that Ran-chan and Moca-chan are free-spirited... but somehow they have everything together... Himari-chan is really good at keeping us close... And Tomoe-chan is so cool, she makes me think, "are we really the same age?" I hope one day I'll be able to catch up to them.
That's everything! Again, my name is Tsugumi Hazawa. *sigh* Self-introductions are really hard. A-anyway, I hope you'll support Afterglow!
Aya admires idols and entered the entertainment industry as a probationary idol in the hopes of becoming one; however, she is easily nervous and cries easily when things go wrong and she's overwhelmed by her emotions. She has stage fright and so she has weak improvisation, so she has yet to achieve a breakthrough. After three years, she finally gets her chance to become an idol by becoming a part of Pastel*Palettes.
Hi, everyone~☆ I'm Aya Maruyama! I'm the vocalist of Pastel*Palettes. It's nice to meet you. Just like the word palette, our band is full of beautiful colors and vibrant personalities☆ Our songs are all sparkling, colorful, and lovely to listen to, so please give them a try sometime!
We've only just taken our first steps as a band, but nothing would make me happier if you could continue to watch over us! I'm Aya Maruyama, and we are Pastel*Palettes! Thanks, everyone~!
... Huh? I still have some time left?! U-Um, what should I say...? Uhm, I'm Aya Maruyama! I-I'm the vocalist... Wait, I've already said this... Ah, what should I do~? Now I'm out of time?! No way! I should've thought up a better self-introduction~!
A bright and quick-witted genius of a girl, she's capable of doing something after she's seen it once. She has a happy and refreshing personality, but she can also be insensitive and isn't good at sensing the mood. She has a habit of describing things with unusual ideophones. She has a hobby of making perfumes. She's the younger twin sister of Hikawa Sayo.
I'm Hina Hikawa! I'm the guitarist for Pastel*Palettes. What else can I say~? ... I think that's it. Huh? I have to say something else? But that's pretty much it... Oh, that's right, I have a twin sister! She's kinda scary, but she's great! I love her so much~! The whole reason I learned to play the guitar is because I wanted to be like her. But it wasn't really difficult or anything, so it didn't take long to pick up. Easy peasy ♪
So I guess I'm just doing the band thing to kill time. Something just seemed interesting about it. It's turning out to be an awesome way to kill time though. The other girls are just so interesting.
Oh, and even though we're a band, we... ... Ah, I'm not allowed to say this? Really? But it's the best part~ Oh well. Ehehe, forget about what I was going to say~ ♪ Anyway, we're Pastel*Palettes! Check us out sometime! And that's it! I'm Hina Hikawa! See ya~☆
A young actress who has been active in the field since her roles as a child actress. She is polite and very responsible. Prior to joining Pastel Palettes, she was a child actress and did not know how to play the bass. She cherishes friends whom she can hang out with without needing to hold back. Her hobbies include shopping and having tea at cafes. Outside of the band, she is also friends with Matsubara Kanon and Seta Kaoru.
Hello, everyone. My name is Chisato Shirasagi, and I play the bass for Pastel*Palettes. I've never played an instrument or been in a band before... I'm learning new things each and every day, and I'm enjoying this fresh, new experience. Just yesterday, I tried restringing my bass for the first time... Bass strings are stiff, so it actually takes quite a lot of strength.
Another member of the band, Maya-chan, helped me with the restringing. She knows a lot about various instruments, and is always really dependable. Not just Maya-chan, but all of the girls in the band are really lovely... I couldn't do this without them. I don't want to be too dependent just because I'm a beginner, so I will try to devote myself to my practice so that some day the others will be able to depend on me if they need to ♪
We still have a long way to go as a band, so it would be great if you would keep watching over us. On a personal level... I am excited to start afresh and do my best as a new idol. I hope the next time we meet is when our band is standing on the stage... Please look forward to it!
An equipment geek, Maya is happiest when she's surrounded by instrument equipment. When you talk about instrument equipment, she becomes talkative. Prior to joining the band, she was a studio musician. She wears glasses, which she removes when performing.
H-Hi everyone. I'm Maya Yamato. It's nice to meet you. U-Umm... I'm the drummer for Pastel*Palettes. ... Ah, sorry. I'm not really used to this kind of thing... Joining the band was kind of an unexpected turn of events for me, but... I'm so happy that I get to talk about equipment and stuff with other girls around the same age!
Just the other day, Hina-san and I were talking about effect pedals... Oh, effect pedals are used to create different sounds with an electric guitar... Hina-san made a terrible joke about the effect pedal circuits... J-Just thinking abut it makes me... Huhehe!
... Sorry. I get carried away whenever I start talking about equipment... Chisato-san will berate me when she finds out... I've worked as a studio musician for a while now, so I don't really know much abut this idol thing... But I'm going to do my best, and learn more and more, so I hope you'll follow the band!
Eve has an honest and friendly personality to everyone. She is in the same class as Kasumi Toyama and many other members of Poppin' Party. Before joining Pastel*Palettes, she was a model at the same agency. She is notably taller than the other members of her band. Eve is from Finland and finds Japanese culture exciting, often citing bushido, the code of Japanese warriors. She strongly admires Bushido. Her father is Japanese, and her mother, Finnish.
Hello, everyone! My name is Eve Wakamiya! I play the keyboard for Pastel*Palettes. I used to play piano when I was little, but I stopped for a long time, so now I'm practicing hard every day. I practiced a lot today. I'll practice a lot tomorrow too!
So many things happen every day when playing in a band. It can be really tough sometimes. But as long as I have bushido, it'll be okay! With bushido, nothing is impossible! There is still a lot that I don't know... But I will hold on to the spirit of bushido... and show the world that I can do it! I want to become an outstanding idol so that I can share the spirit of bushido with everyone.
I hope everyone will continue to show me their support until that day comes! That's all for now. I'm Eve Wakamiya! Osu! Hmm~? Samurai don't say "osu"? I didn't know that~
Yukina is a powerful vocalist, sparking the admiration of the other Roselia members. She has a strong-willed and stubborn personality and doesn't smile much in public. She pursues her beliefs with reckless devotion, causing her to be blind to everything else around her. She is best friends with Imai Lisa and considers Mitake Ran somewhat of a rival. She has a weak spot for cats.
I'm Yukina Minato. The only thing I care about is music. I can't talk about anything else. ...Hmm? I only need to talk about Roselia? .....Fine.
Roselia believes entirely in our music. We know where we are, where we want to be, and all we do is strive to reach those goals. We're not here to explain our ideals. If we can't do that much through our music, there's no point to any of it. All I'm focused on right now is improving the band.
What? A message for the fans.? ...I've put everything I have into my music. Everything I have into Roselia. So... to know there are people out there supporting me in that... I'm very pleased. And I promise you that we'll deliver the very best musical performance from up on that stage!
A serious and fussy girl, Sayo can come off as somewhat cold in nature. She would never cut corners or be shoddy about things; because of that, she lives her life too seriously for her own good. She likes fluffy animals and practices archery. She's the older twin sister of Hikawa Hina. She has a complex and feels inferior to her twin sister.
My name is Sayo Hikawa. We're in the middle of rehearsals right now, so I won't be able to talk for long.
I am the guitarist in Roselia. ... What? What do I think of the other members? ... This band isn't a hobby. What we think of each other doesn't matter at all. It's against my very principles to even think about it. Why are we so serious about it? .....Does it really matter why we do this? How it all came to be? In the end, if we can't produce results, none of it means anything anyway.
For me, having talent and producing results is everything. And in order to make that happen... In order to become a world-class performer, I will make any sacrifices necessary. Your two minutes is up. I'm going back to rehearsals.
With her flamboyant looks, Lisa is easily misunderstood as frivolous, but is actually a compassionate and faithful person. She has a lot of friends due to her stylishness and bright personality. Lisa follows gyaru fashion, but keeps her interest in knitting a secret, since it does not match her image. She is a proficient bassist, wowing the other Roselia members in her audition, and is good at baking cookies. She is best friends with Minato Yukina. Outside of the band, she is also friends with Aoba Moca.
Hi! I'm Lisa Imai, bassist for Roselia☆ Just call me Lisa, okay~? Talk about Roselia, huh... I mean, where should I start? I guess, we're a very serious band. Sayo and Yukina in particular are pretty strict, and... Ahaha, they'll probably get mad at me for that...

Ako has chuunibyou tendencies, which Shirokane Rinko supposes results from her playing online games. She often wonders how she can be a "cooler" drummer, and sometimes feels inadequate compared to her other band mates. She admires Minato Yukina, is the best friend of Shirokane Rinko, and the little sister of Udagawa Tomoe. She looks up to her sister, and started playing drums because she wanted to be as cool as her sister. She always is researching ways to be cooler, and started using weird words as a side-effect.

Kaoru is a celebrity at her school and belongs to the theater department there. She is very popular with ladies, who she dubs her "little kittens". In particular, Uehara Himari and Rimi Ushigome have a tendency of blushing furiously in her presence. She likes to read philosophical books and poetry, but doesn't really understand it. It is one of Seta's principals to never let private matters slip through these lips, but for the sake of Hello, Happy World!, I must... Allow me to shed a glimmer of light on the existence of the human that is yours truly.
I participate in the theater club. My heart tells me that through such theatrics we can one day arrive at the truth. Hm? What is "the truth?" As the great bard once said, "...till truth makes all things plain..." That is what we mean when we say, "the truth." ... That's too hard to understand? I see. Allow me to explain... in other words, it is... exactly how it sounds.
Hagumi is always bright, active, but sensitive with a pure heart. She sometimes helps out at her parents' butcher shop, which is famous for their croquettes. Her favourite activity is running marathons and she's the captain and ace of the local softball team. She's in the same class as Toyama Kasumi.
Hi! I'm Hagumi Kitazawa! I play the bass for Hello, Happy World! My family runs a meat shop, also home to the super popular croquette! All of downtown knows about it. Maybe this doesn't mean much when I say it, but it's out-of-this-world delicious!
I eat, eat, eat, and it really gets the juices flowing, and then I move, move, move! Yep. I love to get my body going. Though recently, I've been playing the bass just as much as I've been moving! You wouldn't believe how fun being in a band is!
So, Hello, Happy World! plays to make the world smile. Everyday something different happens, and it's super cool! Actually, I'm not really sure what "make the world smile" means! But look, give it a try! I'll smile too, okay? Ready, set, cheese!! Yeah! Makes sense now, right? Hey, c'mon. Don't give me that face! Kokoron said the same thing, didn't she? ... Ah! Is the camera still rolling?!
Kanon is very clumsy, quick to tears, and has a bad sense of direction. She's a bit of a pushover and very shy. Since she's a pushover, it's easy for her to get involved in others' affairs. She likes sweets and cute things, and is a bit reserved. She enjoys seeing jellyfish and going to cafes.
Huh? Y-You're already filming?! Ahh... W-What should I say? Uhh... I play the drums... for Hello, Happy World! ... Kanon Matsubara... is my name. ... I, uh... have a hard time speaking... I'm a sophomore... in high school...
And... What should I talk about...? Huh? Misaki-chan, what did you say? ... Just normal... stuff...? I'm part of the tea ceremony club... There's still a lot for me to learn, so it's tough, but it's fun, too.
I'm bad at the drums, as well. So I was thinking of quitting. But then Kokoro-chan let me into her band... ... And I'm starting to feel like, maybe I can change and become a different person... Because... everyone is here... for me. ... Hehe. Hagumi-chan... thank you, too. Uhh, so... I'm going to keep working really hard!
Known to her band mates as the pink bear Michelle, Misaki is a reluctant member of Hello, Happy World! Misaki began wearing the bear costume at her part-time job and she was roped into joining the band by Tsurumaki Kokoro.
Hello. I'm the DJ for Hello, Happy World! My name is Misaki Okusawa... I guess my name is also Michelle. Hope to see you at our shows. Alright, good work. See ya~!
Do I really have to keep talking? ...You want me to talk about Michelle? No, no. If I talk about Michelle now, it'll ruin the surprise and be a lot less exciting. I'm waiting till the time just right. At least for now. And look, to be honest, we know I'm not the type to be put in front of people, right? So instead of making me do this, shouldn't we just get Kaoru to do it for everyone? I'm always stuck in a place where no one can see me anyway.
Huh? ... Maybe I should come out, then? ... No, no. Nope. No~. There's no point now. Besides... Michelle is... I'm starting to like- Wait, you're still shooting?! Kokoro, I want that part deleted, okay?
