Banana Fish Episode 1 Dub
Project Overview
I saw the AI generated dub of Banana Fish on Amazon and sadly could not let that go. I am producing a sample dub of Episode 1 to present to Amazon, Aniplex and fans online with the hopes that if I can show a professionally produced dub would help them out after the atrociousness of what they did, that they will be encouraged to allow us to dub the rest of the show and actually pay for it.
As of now this is an unpaid passion project, but with hopes that it will lead to talks with Amazon and Aniplex to eventually produce the rest for pay.
I will be planning to dub the opening/ending theme, so if you are a singer, be on the lookout for that as well! I will also need many extras, both mostly male, but also some females.
This project covers LGBTQ+ Characters and themes, so please be open to that before you audition and also know that at least in this first episode a slur word again gay males is used by the main character as a means of deflection for his own sexuality, so if you eventually audition for him, know he isn't saying it out of hate, but to minimize his own feelings about himself.

Deadline for all lines will be within 2-3 weeks of casting as I hope to have this finished by the end of March.
Pronunciation guide:
Dino Golzine: Dee-noh ghol-TSEE-neh
The "G" is hard as in "goat," the "Z" produces a sharp "ts" sound (like in pizza.), and the final "e" is pronounced as a short "eh" sound.
Eiji Okumura: Ay-jee Oh-koo-moo-rah
Ay is pronounced like the letter "a" slightly roll the r like it's a mix or an "r" and a "d"
Shunichi Ibe: Shoo-nee-chee Ee-beh
Ee is pronounced like the letter "e"
