REOPENED - Baldur’s Gate 3 - Minthara Voice Needed!
Project Overview
This is a fan-casting call for voice actors who can accurately replicate the voices of Shadowheart, Lae'zel, and Karlach from Baldur’s Gate 3. While this is not for a fan dub or full fan project, the selected voices will be used in short intro clips for Baldur’s Gate-inspired original songs. These intros will feature one to three lines spoken in-character to set the tone before the music begins. We’re looking for voice actors who can closely match the original vocal tone, cadence, and emotional delivery of these characters, capturing their distinct personalities in brief but impactful performances. This is a passion project intended to honor the spirit of the game and its beloved characters. All selected voice actors will be fully credited for their roles wherever the music is posted or shared.

Shadowheart is a reserved and secretive half-elf cleric who serves a dark goddess, often speaking with a calm, measured tone that masks her inner turmoil. She’s guarded and suspicious at first, hiding a softer, more vulnerable side beneath her stoic exterior. Her voice should carry quiet strength and subtle emotion, revealing glimpses of warmth or doubt only when trust is earned.

Lae'zel is a proud and intense Githyanki warrior raised in a brutal, honor-bound culture. She speaks with firm authority and little patience, often barking commands or insults without hesitation. Her voice should be sharp, commanding, and unwavering, with occasional flickers of emotion when her rigid worldview is challenged or when loyalty becomes personal.
