For your audition, please read from the following segments:

Director's comments:The VA to be able to voice a timid and confident John as he thinks on his feet. He has to be alert at all times because his status as a "Cripple"

John is a deeply conflicted individual, torn between his yearning for a peaceful life and his resentment toward the oppressive systems that deny him that dream. His personality is marked by intense stubbornness, emotional isolation, and a refusal to accept advice, even from trusted allies. This self-destructive independence often causes him to worsen his own problems, and although he feels guilt for his mistakes—especially those tied to his violent past in New Bostin—he refuses to confront them or believe in the possibility of change or redemption. He views apologies as manipulative and second chances as illusions, which fuels his mistrust of others and distances him from meaningful connections.

With time and the support of Seraphina, Adrion, and William, John gradually begins to confront his inner turmoil and accept himself. Though his path to redemption is filled with doubt and social resistance, he gains better control over his anger and becomes more composed, resembling the more peaceful version of himself before his rise to power. He remains wary of using his ability, fearing it could drag him back into old patterns, but he shows greater emotional maturity and restraint. Despite his internal struggles, John retains a sarcastic charm and a fondness for bubble tea, small but consistent aspects of his identity. His fear of ghosts and jump scares also reveals a more human, vulnerable side beneath his intense and often intimidating exterior.

Director's comments:The VA needs to be able to voice a cool, calm, and collected character that relaxes when she is around the people she trusts.

Seraphina is a powerful and intelligent student who, despite her god-tier status and reputation as Wellston’s “perfect student,” carries a relaxed and often detached attitude toward school life and social expectations. She is naturally gifted and often bored by how easily things come to her, which leads her to ignore the prestige and pressure typically associated with her status. Seraphina stands out among her peers for befriending a supposed cripple, John, showing she values authenticity over reputation. Though usually calm and nonchalant, she is not afraid to assert herself when boundaries are crossed. Her friendship with John plays a transformative role in her life; she initially mocks his optimism but comes to admire it, gradually adopting his ideals and abandoning her former obsession with perfection.

After losing her ability, Seraphina’s inner strength is tested. While she initially masks her fear with her usual composure, she eventually breaks under the pressure of social rejection and the loss of power, revealing that she had tied her self-worth to her ability. This experience makes her more empathetic to the struggles of lower tiers and drives her toward a more altruistic path. Her desire to create change even leads her to work with Spectre, the organization that stole her ability, though she remains distrustful and wary of their motives. Stress and constant surveillance harden her demeanor, returning her to a more serious and distant version of herself. Despite her efforts to reform Spectre from within, she abandons the mission after they betray her trust and harm her friends, reinforcing her resolve to fight injustice on her own terms.

Arlo is a highly authoritative and calculating individual who thrives in structured environments and is deeply committed to maintaining the social hierarchy at Wellston. Known for his leadership qualities, he often comes across as composed and strategic, rarely acting on impulse. However, his arrogance, manipulative tendencies, and rigid fixation on order make him a polarizing figure. He tolerates or even justifies the mistreatment of lower-tier students, seeing their suffering as a necessary part of maintaining balance. His loyalty and empathy are typically reserved for fellow royals or close allies, reinforcing his elitist worldview and earning him criticism from others.

After suffering defeat at the hands of John and losing his position as King, Arlo undergoes notable personal growth. He becomes more self-aware, humble, and empathetic toward the struggles of others, even openly rejecting his previous obsession with status. His changed perspective leads him to support initiatives like the Safe House and Seraphina’s recovery, signaling a shift from preserving power to fostering meaningful change. When John later offers to restore him as King, Arlo declines, showing maturity and a focus on the future by endorsing Blyke instead. This evolution highlights his transition from a rigid enforcer of hierarchy to a more understanding and cooperative figure.

For Remi the VA needs to be able to voice a strong and confident character while having a softer more relaxed tone around friends

Remi is a well-meaning and energetic student who stands apart from most high-tiers at Wellston due to her strong moral compass and compassion for others. Influenced by her mother and late brother Rei, she believes in justice and equality, often choosing to befriend and support lower-tier students rather than looking down on them. Though she holds the title of Queen, she is aware it was passed to her by default and does not use it to assert dominance. Remi can be playful and relaxed around friends, but when she becomes passionate about a cause, she’s willing to stand up to those more powerful than herself—though her interests tend to be short-lived.

Despite her good intentions, Remi struggles with certain flaws that complicate her leadership. Her sheltered life as a high-tier has left her somewhat naïve, initially unaware of the deeper issues and violence affecting weaker students at her school. She also has a quick temper and a tendency to make impulsive decisions, which can cause her to react harshly when others disagree with her or challenge her viewpoint. While her heart is in the right place, these traits sometimes prevent her from fully understanding or connecting with others' perspectives, showing that even the most idealistic leaders still have room to grow.

For Blyke the VA needs to be able to voice a quick to react and stubborn character.

Blyke is a loyal, empathetic, and straightforward student who deeply values his friends and isn't afraid to speak his mind. Known for his honesty and strong moral compass, he takes his responsibilities as Jack seriously, striving to do what's right—even if he didn't initially pay much attention to the struggles of low-tier students. Over time, however, his perspective shifts as he becomes more aware of the inequality around him, evolving into someone who champions respect and fairness for all. He’s highly protective, even resorting to vigilante tactics to grow stronger and shield his friends, particularly from threats like John. Despite being impulsive and hot-headed at times—traits that some feel make him unfit for leadership—he eventually accepts the role of King after both Arlo and John decline it.

In earlier stages, Blyke was more reckless with his power and used it to enforce authority, occasionally intimidating lower-tier students as part of maintaining order. Although he never crossed into outright bullying, his actions reflected the normalized behavior among Wellston’s elite. As the series progresses, Blyke becomes increasingly self-aware, embarrassed by his past and committed to being a better person. His openness, while endearing, is also a flaw; he often blurts out sensitive information without thinking and struggles with keeping secrets—something that concerns more guarded characters like John. Nevertheless, Blyke’s sincerity, growth, and strong sense of justice make him a likable and important presence among his peers.
