APOCALYPTA; An Apocalypse Webcomic (Chapter 1)
Project Overview
Hello there! I am Jean Baisden, the creator of an upcoming webcomic called "APOCALYPTA" that will be uploaded to WEBTOON very soon (It's still in the works). I am looking for voice actors, audio engineers, and video editors to start a comic dub! DISCLAIMER: This will be non-budget and purely for fun! If you're looking for paid comic dubs, look elsewhere please!
Plot - A group of dogs have to learn how to survive on their own once their owners are subject to an awful variant of rabies that only infects humans! They must learn how to mature quickly, be more independent, and learn the ways of their ancestors.

!!RULES!! (READ THESE BEFORE AUDITIONING PLEASE)
1. All actors/engineers must be 15 or older! This comic deals with things such as death, body-horror, and excessive swearing - so you need to be at least SOMEWHAT mature in order to participate.
2. YOU MUST HAVE A DISCORD ACCOUNT TO GET IN CONTACT WITH ME! I don't check anything else other than Discord so in order for you to talk to me, you need to contact me through there.
3. You can audition for multiple characters! If your voice is good, but doesn't fit the character you first auditioned for and you audition for another character that fits, I'll think about choosing you!! <3
4. TO MY VOICE ACTORS!! You must have a good mic! This means - no background noise, must be at least a little crisp, and we must be able to make out what you're saying!
5. TO MY VIDEO EDITORS! In your finished project, you HAVE to have zero watermarks from the program you used! This could take away the experience and make it look cheap! (Even though this is zero budget, I still want it to look good, you get me?)
6. AND TO MY VIDEO ENGINEERS!! I don't have a specific rule for you so just make some cool, cinematic sound preview or post one in your audition!

Meet Cake! He's a small Siberian Husky pup that's bubbly and full of personality. He's sweet, moody, food-obsessed, and playful. He never says no to a good head scratch and is always asking questions about things around him. He has to know everything or he cannot go on!
Head-canon voices: Tails Miles Prower (Sonic-X)
To get a high voice, I recommend only actresses voice Cake.
(He is playing with his older brother, Spark. He is laughing and giggling.)
Noo! Go away! Hahaha!
(He is scared he's done something wrong.)
I didn't touch anything, I swear!
(Begging)
Aww, five more minutes! It's almost over!
Spark is Cake's older adoptive brother. He's a pure pitbull who's heart is full of love and care for those around him. He specifically cares for Cake, just like a father would to his son. Spark does what's best for those around him, regardless of what pain he himself has to go through - he's also really resilient when it comes to physical pain. He's extremely protective of Cake, and will go to great lengths to eliminate the immediate threat.

Well, since you ate my food last night, I get to call you Sprinkles for the rest of the day. Besides, your name is Cake anyways so that's close enough, ain't it?
(Reassuring)
Woah, woah! I'm just kidding! There's no need to get upset, Sprinkles!
(Frantic and serious)
Cake, don't look. Close your eyes!
CAKE: But why-?
DO IT NOW!
Connor is a minor role in chapter 1. He is infected by the virus and fully succumbs to it, causing him to lash out. He is Cake's second oldest "brother".
(Strained voice- Connor is really ill)
Cake, am I going to die?
(Slight pleading)
Can you stay with me? I don't wanna be alone right now.
(Test to see how well your grunts and growls are. NOTE - He is taken over by the virus so be sure to make his growls sound irritated and somewhat unhuman)

(Dumbfounded, irritated, and devastated)
Our Connor is dying and they can't do anything about it?!
(Sobbing)
What're we gonna do?
(Alert)
What's happening in here? Connor?!
The father of Connor. The adoptive father of Spark and Cake.
(Angry, Devastated)
I just got off the phone with 911. I got a fucking voicemail! The damn thing just told me that no one can help us because the EMTs and the police are both unavailable!
(Devastated)
I don't know what else to do.
(Hopeful yet skeptical)
Shh, he'll... he'll be just fine.

The news reporter is a minor character, but she has a major role in telling the reader what's going on outside closed doors. She should sound like a typical news reporter.
(Serious, reporter voice)
We interrupt this program to warn you all to stay inside. As many of you may know, a new variant of rabies was discovered on July 20th of this year. Since then, the variant proceeded to spread rapidly, infecting more than 1 million Americans and 4.3 million people world wide. The variant was named A.O.R.V, which stands for Aggression Oriented Rabies Virus, or Rabies II. From what we know about the virus, and what the Michigan Study of Human Illnesses told reporters, the virus only targets humans but makes them extremely dangerous and aggressive.
(Drained, worried)
According to the Michigan Study of Human Illnesses and Michigan’s Department of Medicine, there is no known cure at this time. The state of America is unknown from this point forward, but let’s all hope for a turn-a-round.
(Serious, reporter voice yet again)
The symptoms of this virus include uncontrollable leakage of bodily fluids, frothing out the mouth, intense muscle spasms and convulsions, and the most noticeable symptom, blind aggression.
