Project Overview

INTRODUCTION 


Hello friends! My name is Nicole. I am currently seeking a plethora of male and female vocalists to help me create original covers inspired by popular anime and video game titles. Completed songs will be legally distributed via CDBaby to Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube, Pandora, deezer, Google Play, and more. I am working with a team of talented mixers and artists to create animated music videos to go along with the tracks. 


I’m looking to cast a variety of vocalists throughout the next year. Folks cast for songs will be asked to respond and record in a timely manner. The release schedule will be small in the beginning but I am hoping the channel will build an audience to eventually gain funding to release content on a weekly basis. 


All songs will be sung in the English language. Vocalists must be comfortable using a plain, American accent.


I am writing the lyrics, producing the content and paying all the upfront costs. For that reason, payment will be negotiated on an individual basis. If and when I reach out to you we will discuss individual rates.


OVERVIEW


My dream and passion has always been to produce content. It is my hope with these individual projects to adapt and create English covers of popular anime and game tunes for an English speaking audience that matches the spirit of the original creators.

DEADLINES OF AUDITIONS


This project will be open until further notice. I have the first few releases planned and am in talks currently to obtain mechanical licenses. In the meantime I am looking to build a directory of talents I can contact depending on the song my team and I plan to release. If you are interested in applying, please follow the directions below. 


WHAT TO EXPECT


Please send me a private message or audition below. Your message must contain your full name, email, and a link with a sample of your vocal (singing) work. No voice acting demos please. I will only contact you if I feel you are the right fit for the current project I am working on. 


If you don’t hear back from me please don’t take it personally. I fully intend to keep you in mind for further projects. I am casting vocalists depending on the voice and tone of the Japanese track.


Everyone’s voice is uniquely theirs! When I get to something I’m confident you’ll crush, I’ll contact you.


WHAT I ASK OF YOU


Requirements are as follows:

- Must have a studio condenser microphone or better

- Please record in .wav ONLY

- Must use professional DAW; Logic Pro or Cubase recommended  

- Please have a Skype & or Discord so that we may have a recording session if necessary

- Must be available, reliable and able to communicate responsibly in a timely matter 

- Must be able to record in 1-2 weeks turnaround time  


WHO AM I?


I have a background in Acting/Theater, Writing, and Project Management. A YouTuber since 2006, I’ve worked on English adaptations of anime songs as well impersonations of characters. In 2015, I auditioned for the Emmy Award winning studio Bang Zoom Entertainment, where I placed as a semi-finalist in "The Perfect Idol" competition, a contest searching for the next biggest anime voice talent. Soon after I had the pleasure of voice acting minor characters and Walla in a few titles by Media Blasters (2015). For health reasons I took a five year hiatus, but I am now just returning to work. I am happy to begin doing what I love again.
