Animated Trailer for Spooky Children's Book
Project Overview
This is an animated trailer to promote my children’s book, Shivering Snivels & His Shadow. Paper cut-out style animation will give the viewer a preview of the first ten pages of the book.
Snivels Stormyweather may be a very miserable name, but he was a very miserable boy. At the beach or at school, Snivels always seemed to find fearsome phantoms stalking him in every shadow. When Snivels own shadow comes after him-- life certainly seems spoiled for this scaredy-cat.

Daredevil and parent. FEMALE, 40. Mrs. Stormyweather is part of a daredevil duo with her husband. She is resourceful, brave, and confident. She has climbed to the tallest peaks and faced ferocious beasts. She hopes one day her son will be able to join the act.

but all you did was freeze!

Scardycat. MALE, 6. Snivels is a boy that always seems to find himself alone. Too frightened to go in the water or too scared to ride the rollercoasters, Snivels isolates himself from his friends and family. The phantoms he sees in dangerous situations continue to overpower Snivels deep desire to be brave.

Well Educated MALE, 70. This is a man who has spent his life reading stories. Nothing gives him greater pleasure then to read a great story aloud to a captivated audience. He is proud, wise, and confident. Pet peeve - being interrupted.

While his parents laughed at danger and took to the skies,
Snivels could only stand in the crowd and cover his eyes.
But, when the poor boy opened his mouth to speak,
all that came out was one little squeak.
