Animated Short Film: So We Meet Again PRODUCTION TEAM SEARCH

Project Overview

Plot Overview:

"So We Meet Again" is a 35-minute animated short film that centers on two strangers, Iris and Eli, who meet by chance at a chaotic house party. Their encounter begins with subtle intrigue on a smoke-filled balcony, where a mix of flirtation, dark humor, and deep conversation unfolds. As they move through the party, their chemistry grows, revealing emotional vulnerabilities, past trauma, and the search for connection. The film touches on themes of addiction, love, and personal reflection, capturing the highs and lows of two people lost in life who find solace in each other, if only for the night.

The tone of the film is intimate and moody, blending humor and psychological depth. It features strong character development, dialogue-driven scenes, and surreal animations to represent the characters’ emotional journeys.

No AI Usage Policy:

We proudly commit to not using AI for any aspect of the production of "So We Meet Again". All art, writing, animation, music, and creative elements will be 100% handcrafted by skilled professionals. This project emphasizes human creativity and collaboration, ensuring that every detail is made with personal care and artistry. The goal is to deliver a uniquely authentic and original piece of storytelling, created exclusively by human talent.

(THE ONLY USE OF AI HAS BEEN FOR THE COVER PHOTO AS PLACEHOLDER UNTIL A TEAM IS BUILT.)

Who I Expect to Work With:

I’m looking for creative individuals who are passionate about storytelling and character-driven animation. Ideal collaborators are:

- Collaborative & Open-Minded: Comfortable working closely with the animation director and offering creative input during the process.

- Experienced with Dialogue-Heavy Animation: Skilled at bringing subtle emotions and nuanced interactions to life through animation and sound.

- Passionate About Themes of Vulnerability & Connection: The story touches on deep emotional themes, so a sensitivity to character development and emotion is essential.

- Comfortable with Stylized Visuals: The film may employ surreal and metaphorical animation styles to represent characters' emotional states, so familiarity with diverse animation styles is a plus.

- Deadline-Oriented: As this project will involve a team, the ability to work within set deadlines while maintaining high-quality work is critical.

Film Length:

- The film will run approximately 35 minutes. It will be posted on my YouTube channel, where I hope to regularly release short films and animations.
