Danganronpa Anamorphic Paths VA Casting Call
Project Overview
Anamorphic Paths will be an Audio Drama series posted on YouTube.
Sixteen international "Subjects" are kidnapped and forced to play a deadly killing game in the "Devillier" Estate. The killing game begins as any other, but throughout the story, our "Subjects" begin to realize just how much power their choices hold.
Requirements:
Minimum audition age is 16. Please provide your name in your audition. Due to the sensitive topics of the Danganronpa franchise, if you are under 18, please let us know by simply typing "minor" in your audition.
Discord is a requirement for communication. (Include on audition alongside your name and age)
Be able to work on deadlines. (Won't be extreme or anything like that)
AABBCC format is preferred for auditions.
Some important disclosures about the casting process for this project:
1. The images utilized in this Casting Call are only place-holders so as not to spoil any official art. Final designs may look completely different. All art was done by @friz_fraz_fries on Twitter.
2. If call-backs are needed, I will contact you 24-48 hours after the audition deadline for the character closes.
3. Accents for subjects are NOT a requirement. Please feel free to audition for any subject you're interested in.
4. This is a long-term project! We have scripts ready to go for you when you join!
5. We will try to schedule several table reads to provide direction throughout the scenes. We'll work around your schedules as best as we can but please be aware!
Please refer to the list below for the casting dates. Any auditions submitted after the dates will not be taken into consideration. While we may review/shortlist auditions ahead of time, the final casting will not occur until the date posted.

The first enforcer is someone whose mind runs on structure, order, and patterns. He finds safety in predictability and avoids chaos as much as possible. He's not completely heartless; he understands the severity of his actions and is aware that plans cannot be altered or stopped.

[Annoyed] You are enjoying this way too much. We're here to work, not to watch them as if they're a TV show.
[Neutral] Attention Subjects. A body has been found on the premises.
The second enforcer is a charismatic, playful, and unpredictable person. He is someone who turns fear and chaos into his own entertainment. He is someone whose moral compass is self-authored.

Subject 1 is a quick-witted individual. He dislikes the spotlight, so he'll keep himself out of the conversation; however, if the situation requires it, he is not afraid to take a degree of leadership or use underhanded tactics to resolve the issue.

[Neutral] What do you mean she is acting crazy? I'd say that's more paranoia than anything else. What? You want me to talk to her? I can try but I don't see her opening the door for anyone, even myself.
Subject 2 is a kind and talkative person. To succeed at his job, he has developed incredible social skills, as well as being gifted in analytical skills. Regardless of how he may feel towards a person, he will always try to be a helping hand.

[Annoyed] Can you stop talking for a second. He's trying to explain himself, we'll learn nothing if we keep interrupting him.
Subject 3 is an extremely smart girl, both in the emotional and literal sense. On her way to pursuing her dreams, she broke several of her family links, so part of her family sees her as a rebel. While she enjoys being in charge she will not opposed to listening to others if a better option is proposed.

[Relaxed] Plan? There is no plan at the moment. We'll just wait until something else happens. Then based on that we'll plan out our next step. Or what? Do you have any better ideas?
[Confident] Let me give you a piece of advice. Getting attached to anyone in our situation is the worst decision you can make. It'll only give you weaknesses and cloud your mind when a decision is needed. Try to avoid it, yeah?
Subject 4 is a young female who may be perceived as rude and arrogant. Due to her upbringing through a wealthy family and the neglect she experienced, she is unaware of how her actions affect the ones around her.

Subject 5 is a conflicted individual. While at work, he poses as a sergeant, giving orders left and right, even if he doesn't enjoy it. As soon as the shift is over, this facade starts to fade, and he attempts to be a more relaxed person to be around. Overall, he has a good head on his shoulders.

[Annoyed] Can you two stop fighting? This is leading us nowhere. We got three people trapped in the room so we need to think of something fast.
Subject 6 is a blunt young man who can be perceived to have a rude demeanor. He thrives on sarcasm, which leads to many issues in his day-to-day interactions. He is very talented at his craft, but his moments of social apathy make it difficult for him to maintain a constant clientele.

Subject 7 is a brilliant and gifted teenager. She has a solid moral compass and is, overall, a nice person to hang around with. If you ever decide to start a fight or an argument with her, just be aware that she will fight back with all her strength and knowledge.

Subject 8 is a social butterfly. She is a hardworking and humble person who sometimes might strive too much for perfection, which may end up making her stressed. She is that one reliable friend you can count on receiving you with a warm smile every time.

Subject 9 is a cunning man. Being the oldest out of all subjects, he's a greed-driven individual who's not afraid to bend his morals if he ends up profiting in the end. He's very opportunistic and can present himself as charming and polished to gain people's trust.

[Charming] All I ask from you is a vote of confidence with this deal. Give me your books, we'll forget all the niceties and maximize our profits, sound good to ya?
Subject 10 is an extroverted yet grounded person, he's someone with whom you can chat the night away. While he sometimes may let his emotions take control of his actions he's able to reset after taking his mind somewhere else. Overall a chill and relaxed person to hang with.

Subject 11 is a playful person, dramatic to a degree and she's not one to hide her emotions. She doesn't have the greatest sense of responsibility, which makes her anxious when others set expectations on her.

Subject 12 is an extremely hardworking athlete, she's the type to stay over after practice to get some more reps in. She is soft-hearted, humble and sometimes too kind and trusting for her own good. Despite her success in the scene she hasn't forgotten where she came from and spends most of her free time back in her native city.

Subject 13 is a religious young man, a believer of rules and someone who's confident those who break them will face consequences. He always acts based on his morals and can be easily overwhelmed if too many thing pile up on his plate.

Subject 14 is a gentle giant type. He's hardworking, soft-hearted and uncomplaining, the sort of person who would rather keep his troubles to himself rather than bothering someone else with them. While he is quite innocent, he's not naive and can recognize danger, he's also able to keep calm in stressful situations. He speaks in extremely broken English.

Subject 15 is a quick-witted, clever and highly persuasive woman who likes efficiency and hates wasting time. While she may appear charismatic during work hours her personality does a full 180 in her free time.

Subject 16 is a sharp and practical person. She has a blunt way of speaking mainly because she values clarity over politeness. Thanks to her job she has been able to build a thick skin although certain personalities might make her crash out on the spot.
