Alter:Mirai is an upcoming free-to-play psychological murder mystery visual novel developed by utsuronet. Set in the year 2050 in a city named Veyrastryne, eighteen students enter a world built around innovation and progress after a prestige college, Mirelle Ninth, formally invites them to become apart of their family. But as reality begins to fracture, they slowly realize the true intentions on why they were brought to Mirelle Ninth. They must question what is real, who they can trust, and what the future was truly created for.

ARTIST AUDITIONS

Alter:Mirai is currently looking for artists to join the creative team on a voluntary, unpaid basis.

These positions are volunteer roles and are not paid positions. Contributors will be credited for their work and will be part of the Alter:Mirai development team.

EXPERIENCE

Applicants are preferably expected to have at least 1 year of experience creating digital artwork or working in the specific role they are auditioning for.

However, skill and portfolio quality are more important than the exact number of years you’ve been drawing. Beginners who have developed a strong understanding of their chosen role are welcome to audition.

AVAILABLE ROLES

Anatomy Artist
Responsible for character anatomy, proportions, poses, and structural accuracy.

Sketch Artist
Responsible for developing poses, compositions, clothing, expressions, and preliminary character artwork.

Lineart Artist
Responsible for producing clean, finalized linework from approved sketches.

Render Artist
Responsible for coloring, shading, lighting, and bringing finalized lineart to completion.

VOLUNTEER NOTICE

Alter:Mirai is an independent, unpaid project. All artist positions are voluntary, and participation is based on the contributor’s availability.

You should only audition if you are comfortable contributing to the project without monetary compensation.

VOLUNTEER ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

This is a voluntary, unpaid position, and you are not obligated to take on more work than you are comfortable with.

While participation is voluntary, communication with the project team is expected.

If you are given an assignment or contacted about project-related work, agree to respond as soon as reasonably possible, even if you are unavailable or need additional time.

Extended periods of no communication may result in your position being reconsidered, even if you are otherwise unable to work on an assignment.

AUDITION REVIEW

Auditions will generally be reviewed within 1–2 weeks. Please be patient while submissions are being reviewed, as response times may vary depending on the number of auditions received or availability of the Alter:Mirai team.

Please directly send auditions through Casting Call Club and fill out the audition form as required. If you submit a portfolio with no audition form, your audition will automatically be dismissed. We are not accepting or providing any alternate communication apps for auditions.
