All Fine and Dandy is a small upcoming visual novel project based off of the Roblox game Dandy's World. This project is a non-profit project created by Maimaimelle (hey, that's me!)
All Fine and Dandy mainly focuses on a retelling of Dandy's World, mainly "what if Dandy's World was set in the early 2000s?" and "what if the game leaned more into its horror aspects?". All characters and a majority of the cast belong to BlushCrunch Studios and Qwelver. Except for the OC characters.
For Voice Actors!
Before auditioning, please check the character descriptions and their voice claims as they serve to act as a guide to help you understand how they should sound like. When submitting your voice claim, please follow the AABBCC format. (Two takes per line.)
High quality is optional but please try keeping background noise to a minimum.
While the project is mostly light in nature with minimal deadlines, voice actors may expect a heavy workload and have a commitment to the project. The game will either have partial voice acting or full voice acting depending on the reception.
Other requirements!
You must be 16 years old or older to audition, due to the nature of the project.
Discord is an absolute requirement as that will be the main form of communication, when auditioning - please include your discord username in your submission!
You may audition for more than one role!
Overall, be respectful and willing to communicate.

Quickfire announcement, but hi again! This is Director Mai announcing that the Wave 2 Auditions have their deadline extended due to me being a bit busy in real life + need some time for studies and what not.
Rest assured, we've looked through every audition and we're very impressed by the voices that were sent in!

Hello there, this is your AFAD director Mai.
I'd like to thank everyone who's currently auditioned so far, all your voices are really amazing and have given us a lot of inspiration! With that being said...
Two new roles have been added, one's been here for a while - but another has been added just in time. Knightly Knighton!
Along with the new roles, I re-organized the CCC page a little to put the newer roles up top for ease of access along with some updated descriptions.

With more characters and longer deadlines, All Fine and Dandy has officially entered it's second wave of auditions. Now with more roles to shoot your shot at if you missed the first cut.
Round 2 will be gradually adding in characters overtime and deadlines may be expected to change, but for now - give it a try! :D

Hi, hi and hello! Director Mai here to announce that the voice actors for the current roles have been chosen!! To those who did not make the cut, don't feel deterred. All your voices were really good and we appreciate those who auditioned. We're truly thankful to those who chose to audition for our little project.

Hello there to those who auditioned, this is the director Maimaimelle speaking on the behalf of the team to everyone who auditioned for the characters!!
While there's still some time, I just wanted to make a quick update to thank everyone who showed interest in the project. Even if I didn't comment directly on it. :)
One last thing, since round one is almost nearing its end in about 8 or so days - keep your eyes open for round 2 of AFAD. With more roles and more characters to audition for just in case you didn't make the round 1 cut.

Astro's quite the enigmatic face. To the general public, she's known as the "scary lady that lives in the woods". It doesn't help that she.. isn't fond of leaving her house unless it's night but surely that's nothing! Alas, those who approach first will feel a looming sense of dread. One that slowly creeps up until it suffocates them whole. Unless one is actively seeking for a death wish, they can only watch and admire her from afar.

Astro is a mysterious, quiet and reserved Toon. Not many people can come close to her, and even if they do - they run away and cower in fear or just walk away to start with. But overall, she's polite and amicable. Often pondering and being deep in her mind, which does make her come off as stoic or stone cold at times. She's a soft spoken Toon and prefers to watch things unfold in the background rather than to actively participate (unless absolutely required of her).
Voice Claim : Blue Diamond from Steven Universe.
Astro is meant to feel "untouchable", so adding a layer of intimidation to the voice would be reccomended.
(Aloof, intimidating) How curious. I find it surprising how someone like you could possibly think that out of all outcomes.
(Aloof, interested) Hm? You wish to communicate? I suppose I can make time. Communication, I heard, is important to maintaining relationships. No?
(Aloof, deep in thought) I wonder.. is it the appearance that wards off mortals? Haah... I suppose I will never understand them.
Ladies and Gentlemen, and others as well. Behold, your ever so stylish host.. VEE VERSION ONE! With a captivating stage persona and innovative tech, Vee is sure to grab anyone's attention. With a cocky, savvy and a sharp tongue to boot. She's perfect for the cameras. But its said that only Vee's closest confidants know her off camera persona, maybe we'll never know?

Vee is a straightforward and a no-nonsense toon. Considering her role as a main character and a well respected game-show host. They often times show bouts of superiority or arrogance whenever they interact with someone, but that's mainly because Vee is programmed to act that way. She isn't the best with expressing emotions, but that doesn't mean that Vee is emotionless at all. Vee struggles with the fact that he can actually feel things and isn't made to feel nothing. It's an odd feeling of wanting to fulfill your purpose but also wanting to be you.
Voice Claim : Cornfed from Duckman.
Whenever Vee speaks, she's intended to have a robotic/monotone feel.
(Monotone, confident) LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, Welcome one and welcome all. Clap your hands and welcome aboard... Vee Version One. Me, that's me.
(Monotone, reassuring) And, now we roll with the commercial. Don't worry folks, the gameshow will be right on with you.
(Monotone, irritated) If that asshole pulls that cheap trick again, tell him I won't be going on those damn runs. That'll be the last he gets from me.
With a heart of gold and alleged "survived the explosion that killed the dinosaurs" rumor hung high above her head, Shelly never lets anything get her down. Be it people not understanding her specific quirks or overall societal problems. While this does cause Shelly feelings of being inadequate, who needs friends when you've got an army of dinosaur plushies and a good read or two on paleontology?

Shelly is an extroverted Toon, who enjoys talking about her interest in dinosaurs and other forms of prehistoric life. A highly supportive and kind girl with aspirations of sharing her interest of paleontology to others. However, most people tend to not mesh with Shelly very well due to her coming off as over-bearing or having what can be called "toxic positivity"- leaving Shelly out to be somewhat of a social outcast.
Voice Claim : Makoto Nijima from Persona 5.
(Bubbly, excited) Woowie, am I ready for today! Hop, and a step, and a quick check on the tentacles.... and I'm ready!
(Verge of tears, joyful) Wait.. you want to- Oh my god, you want to hear me talk about dinosaur facts?! I- Sorry, I'm just... I'd really love to! Which one would you like to hear first!!
(Zoned out, mumbling) I could go back and assemble some fossils right now.... maybe go write a thesis on how Jurrassic Park had incorrect information... or I can.. hm...
Sprout is just an average guy. Straightforward, pragmatic and most importantly overprotective. Though a bit of a dork at times, Sprout will always be ready to help whoever is in need. Even if it comes at the cost of him sounding like an overbearing helicopter mom. But as Sprout always likes to say, "Better safe than sorry."

Albeit he can come off as overbearing and the occasional bluntness doesn't help. Sprout tends to be a no-nonsense kind of person. Having a tendency to dislike tricks or pranks or overall anything of the sort, though that doesn't mean that he doesn't like a good joke from time to time. Sprout tends to be closed off to those he isn't close with, but opens up immediately as soon as it's a close friend of his.
Voice Claim : Ethan Winters from Resident Evil Village.
(Overly worried, concerned) Hey! Don't screw with me, you could've gotten seriously hurt back there. Don't doze off when we're in danger, damn it!
(Relieved, proud) One.. two.. aand done! A perfect machine. I kinda wished they worked more like ovens, would be way easier.
(In thought, zoned out) .... You know what I could be doing right now? I could be baking.. chocolate raspberry souffles sound good..
Nobody is better fit to embody the Christmas spirit than Bobette. Loud, but affectionate and enthusiastic. Often times finding ways to encourage others to get along with her friendly nature, and always ready for some fun in the snow. Though if there's a possible downside, perhaps it's that she's a bit too friendly. Get ready for a barrage of hugs if she sees you! It'll be one to die for, not literally!

Bobette is an enthusiastic and cheerful gal who thrives and even lives in the festive spirit of Christmas. She is affectionate, playful, and constantly spreads joy to others, often making light-hearted comments and involving herself in holiday-themed activities. Bobette's friendly nature shines through in her interactions with others, whether she's encouraging friends or inviting others to share the joy in Christmas traditions. Although Bobette can get tired of putting up a facade of joy and tends to get envious of others, Bobette tries her best to not let her flaws dictate who she is.
Voice Claim : Clawdeen Wolf from Monster High (G1).

(Concern, scolding) Oooh, I'd watch that attitude Shrimpo. That's a naughty list right there.
A shy and timid heart wandering around in the woods? That would be nobody else but Bassie herself. Sauntering around the woods - looking for company but never being able to talk to anyone herself. Longing for someone to understand, but never being able to reach out to begin with. It's a sad existence, surely. But what else can be done? It's what fate has in store for poor faes like her.

Bassie is a reserved toon, usually isolating herself from others, although she secretly craves connection. She feels inferior to her fellow main characters, leading to her constantly trying to prove her worth. The fear of being replaced basically controls her life to the point of paranoia. And while she may be a bit difficult to get close to, she is truly kind and gentle to others; showing consideration to those who are usually forgotten or ignored.
Voice Claim : White Lily Cookie from Cookie Run Kingdom
(Nervous, verge of tears) I'm.. doing my part! Yep... that's right, doing my part... as I should be. As I should be...!!
(Panicking, out right freaking out) NO.. NO!! STAY AWAY FROM MY DREAMS! STOP-! STO... Oh, no no no.. please.. I didn't mean to yell...
(Calm, almost whispering) ... I wished that it can be spring forever.. aren't the flowers prettier like this?
“Knighton, the ever so confident self-proclaimed Knight Errant, is infamous for his defiant attitude in Gardenview. Afterall, to live is to truly be yourself to the fullest, even if others oppose. Is it not? While this leads to him not being the most approachable person, Knighton thinks that everything requires a few sacrifices. Don't you think so too?"

Knighton is a lonely toon, being quite closed off from the rest. His abrasive and bold demeanour puts a lot of people off - rightfully so in most cases. But none of that bothers him, or so he believes, because all that matters is how he himself feels. As long as he likes them, they’re his friends, even if they disagree. Knighton prefers not to speak much, but tries to be as polite and normal as possible when he does; these attempts often fail. He appears to be impervious to most social norms or local laws. Knighton eternally acts as if he were trying to find a missing part of him, always overcompensating in trying to find his own individuality. You can find him in the dead of night, trying to act as a hero, although there’s currently no major achievements to his name. He feels like he is only half a human, and perhaps the strain he puts on himself will finally make him a real person - and all those sacrifices will have been worth it.
Voice Claim : Thancred from Final Fantasy XIV.
(Calm, a bit pretentious) A true warrior finds satisfaction in laying down his life for his beliefs.
(Formal, softer) Pardon me, I have some more pressing matters to attend to.
(Tries to keep composure, but a bit nervous and upset) Uh- ugh, it is too loud here. May we perhaps relocate?
A somewhat shy Toon, Boxten is most comfortable around those he knows and environments he’s familiar with, one could say he’s a big worry-wart! He may not know what to do or what to say, but rest assured that he’s one big hard worker at heart!

Boxten is a shy and introverted Toon. He is somewhat pessimistic and worries more than he should. Boxten is also someone who constantly tries to improve himself. Eager to learn things, tries to be careful, and is afraid of messing things up. Showing that he's a bit of a perfectionist. He also has a habit of rambling and can get on hours just rambling about things.
Voice Claim : Charles Smith from Red Dead Redemption.
(Worried, concerned) I'm not sure... usually whenever you guys do these runs, one of you comes out injured.
(Neutral) I'm just happy nothing exploded. It's gonna be a hassle trying to fix these machines again.
(Guilty) I dunno. I feel like we could have done better last floor.
Every detective needs their sidekick, though Thyme would like to say otherwise. When you think of a detective, you think of someone serious but Thyme takes that and flips it over their head. Not every detective has to play bad cop all the time!

Thyme is a laid back Toon who tends to take their job as detective's apprentice very lightly. Usually being sarcastic and witty, though on occasions they do know when and how to get the job done. Thyme is also good at talking with people, knowing how to talk their way through things and how to communicate with others efficiently.
Voice Claim : Kyoko Kirigiri from Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc.
The Trigger Happy Havoc voice file seems to be copyrighted. So I attatched the DR2 voice files for now.
(Neutral, Sarcastic) I'm a detective. Things like this don't miss a detective's eyes.
(Teasing before going into panic) Compared to Pebble, you sure are a- HEY GET OFF MY LEG! STOP!
(Sarcastic) Rodger, I think you're going senile. Ever considered taking a break?
Dandy's your all-around overall friendly guy! A jovial man who seems to love his job, love his pet rock - Pebble, and loves his garden. He's one of the more easier to approach residents of Gardenview. Mainly because of his trademarked smile and down to earth attitude. Though a bit of a self-centered guy, but hey.. what's wrong with wanting to love yourself?

Dandy is overall a friendly guy. With a cheery smile on his face constantly and always being bright and happy. At least on the surface. Dandy is seen to be a little bit egotistical at times, but it's nothing major. Just a minor self glazing. Being the main character and face of Gardenview Pictures and all, he has a face to keep and a smile to preserve. However, he has a fear of being ignored and a sense of wanting to be recognized constantly or constantly having attention/being validated. A morally questionable man, but hides it with a friendly smile and a slight bit of ego.
Voice Claim : Lucifer from Hazbin Hotel
Note for the VA: Dandy has a country accent that slips out when he's angry/startled/etc. Overall, the showman voice is something more of a facade.
(Neutral, Welcoming) Well well~! Nice day out today, huh? Just you, me and the sunshine!
(Ticked off, Accent slipping) Tch. Ya really tryin' to push the limit here, ain'tcha? Yer a real nuisance, y'know that?
(Friendly?, Manipulative) I.. you don't get it. Come on now folks.. nobody's gonna believe ya! Not a single soul.
An excitable and fun Toon, Poppy loves to share whatever is on her mind. Being the one with a unique style and perspective to life, one could say pop is the most fun to be around! Remember everyone, be yourself and be unique, and you'll be just like Poppy!

Poppy is a bright and cheery toon with an optimistic worldview and a constantly full social battery. An excitable gal with a crippling phone and soda addiction. Poppy has an eye for fashion and especially cute pink clothes. Poppy can however come off as ditzy and airheaded and overall unideal for serious situations. But for her lack of seriousness comes her commitment.
Voice Claim : Ann Takamaki from Persona 5.
(Happy, energetic) Oh my gosh!! That's so totes adorbs, I have to like add it onto my list~!
