Project Overview
Algoma is an original animated series, heavily inspired by Glitchtale and the indie game, Undertale.
Glitchtale is animated by Camila Cuevas on youtube. (https://www.youtube.com/c/CamilaCuevas)
Voice acting will be done like how it is done in Glitchtale, usually just sounds of the character humming, grunting, sometimes lines will be fully spoken to add effect to a scene.
Algoma will be using terms and other stuff that appear in Undertale or Glitchtale, so it'd be good to know the basics on that one.
This animation series will contain violence and fantasy violence, so it will be rated as T, but as of actual dialogue, it will be kept to PG-13.

Acton Akley is an English man, living in the U.S. for research purposes. He has been on the look-out for a spell... something that would make him stronger, and at the end of the day, he found one. But at what cost?
(Surprised and confused) "The 'Pain' spell...? Huh..."
(Chuckles, sinister tone) "Perfect."(Angry) " *grunt* Let me go! You didn't even let me finish!"
(all giddy and excited) "Gooooooooood evening!"
(kind of disappointed) "Oh? Just one person? Huh..."
"We've got an edgy guy, a pawn... and a king."
Max is a 20-something year old male, son of Evan Blacky and Alison Markus. He also has a brother, Jacob.
He is a rather confident guy, and also very impulsive, which is also a curse, and a blessing.
(surprised) "Wh... You did /what/?"
(bored/annoyed) "I think y'all forget we're like... eight people against one 'thing'."
(confident) "Look, we both know the answer to that."
(scared/desperate) "N-No.. NO! I can't make them disappear!"
(confident, he's told to give up, and he'd lose anyway) "Nah, giving up is for losers."
(serious) "My dad maybe wasn't able to take you down... but I sure can."
Toby (or Tobias/Tobes) is around 19 years old, with hope in his soul, wanting to help anyone he could help.
He is a trans man, but he's been on testosterone for over 4 years, so his voice has already deepened.
Toby is also Max's childhood best friend, being there for each other since the beginning.
(concerned) "Max... you don't have to do this..."
(sinister tone, evil-like) "So is losing, Max."
(tired) "How... How long was I out for...?"
Evan Blacky is Max and Jacob's father, and also Alison's husband. He is a powerful wizard, ready to eliminate whatever is threatening his loved one's lives.
Evan is originally born in a German-speaking country, but he moved when he was around 15 years old, so his accent is a combination of american and german.
(serious) "I do not know who you are or what you want, but be sure... I'll /kill/ you."
(enraged) "What are you doing here?!"
(confident) "Heh, my turn now, boys."
Jacob is Max's brother, he is the typical older brother guy, looking after his younger brother all the time.
(confident) "Heh, looks like he'll go down easy, right Max?"
(concerned) "Huh...? Max... buddy, you good?"
(annoyed) "Aw come on! I put my whole power into that!"
Alison is Max and Jacob's mother, she appears to be in her late 20s, but she's actually not that young (is it magic? who knows!)
She is a motherly figure, usually looking out for her children and loved ones.
(concerned) "Max, honey... I do not know if... it'd be a great idea to do that."
(scared and concerned) "Oh no... No... That didn't... happen... Is he okay?!"
(annoyed) "If I had even the slightest of... magic..." (sigh) "I could help... but they don't know that..."
Berry is an old friend of Max, Gege and Alex. He's the reason weird things have been happening, but indirectly, it's not his fault.
Pain is something that looks a lot like Berry, causing such weird things to happen in town. He is often confident in himself.
Berry's accent is a combination of Russian and American, less Russian though.
Pain's accent is simply American.
(scared) "Look! I'm innocent!" - Berry
(sinister tone, chuckling) "Things are going according to plan..." - Pain
"I'd love to help but... I can't..." - Berry
(sinister tone) "It's fine... I can deal without my skin. But can you deal without yours?" - Pain
(surprised) "Oh-- so I'm guessing things... didn't go as planned?" -Berry
"Good luck, kid. You'll need it." - Pain
Alex is a character that will be there in the background, but won't have a lot to say or do. He is Gege's older brother, and they live alone, looking after each other.
Alex can be harsh from time to time, but that's how he shows his love.
(surprised) "Huh? Berry? Welcome back!"
(annoyed) "No, no. You can't do that."
Some things in the animation will happen in public, so a crowd is most likely needed.
(audible gasps and angry noises)
(screams and shouts)
Mary is around 17 years old, and she is Alex's ex-girlfriend. She will have the same level of importance as Alex, more-so in the background than actually contributing to the story.
(confused) "Wait-- isn't he supposed to be in jail??"
(hopeful) "I can help too! Let me show you!"
(annoyed) "Alex if you don't stop, you'll wish you weren't here."
Gege is Alex's brother and Dylan's boyfriend.
Gege is more of a softie, usually trying his best to help, while Dylan is more of a hard guy.
Alan would be Gege and Dylan's fusion, which is a combination of Gege and Dylan, basically.
"Babe, there's no reason to get angry." -Gege
"How can I not get angry?! We're all doomed!" - Dylan
"But Max-- what if-" - Gege
"What if we miss, and you kill us?" -Dylan
(distressed) "I can't miss, I can't..." -Alan
(scared) "Ohhhh crap-- We're dead." -Alan
I'd like to have a couple of original tracks on the series, but not a lot, mostly VS. Themes.
The style of songs that I love would be the style that NyxTheShield does (his channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/NyxTheShieldOFFICIALYT), simple instrumentals, usually in the style of Undertale.
This is not really required, but would be nice to have something like this on my team. :-)

I mostly need this for sound effects, again, not really required, but would be nice to have one.
Audio Engineer should be able to do sound effects of magic (an example here, original animation by Camila Cuevas: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QpLk9DZ2ZkY&ab_channel=Blair).

Police Officers, any gender or accent. Anyone can audition for this, since I need multiple of them.
"Sir, you are under arrest."
"Seems like someone must've set you up."
"Stop right there!"
Nalena is the mayor of Kradena City (the city where the events of Algoma take place). She's well over her 'due date' with being mayor of the city, but nobody has been able to top the things she has done for the city.
"We should evacuate. Nobody's safe in here." (concerned)
"No... No reason to alert the other cities, doesn't seem like a big threat."
"Well, should I just let you figure it out, Evan?"
There will be some background characters that need a voice actor. Most characters would be between teen and seniors, so a little bit of flexibility would be needed. Though if needed, I'll take multiple VAs for this role.
"Do you plead guilty?! Yes or no!" - Young Adult
"I'm sorry, but you must face trial." - Young Adult
"I've got experience, no need to lecture me, kid." -MiddleAged/Senior
