AFTG Fanmade Audiobook 18+
Project Overview
Art made by @cryptidkreates on tumblr
This is a fan made audiobook for the All For The Game books by Nora Sakavic, the first trilogy!
This one is for the first book in particular but if we continue and we work well and things are turned in on time, the option to keep your role will be available to you!
If you've read them that's a plus but if not, no worries! However! the book does have a lot of sensitive topics and I suggest looking up the trigger/content warnings before auditioning! and because of that, this project is for those 18 and up!
For auditions, please submit them in either ABC or AABBCC format and save as an mp3 or a wav file with the file called AuditionAFTG.(Your name/username)_(Character name). Example: AuditionAFTG.Ray_Nicky
Even though this is an audiobook I want the dialogue to be acted.
For mic quality, it has to be decent and clear.
If you are someone who might sound more 'fem' and want to audition for a male character, go for it. and same for if you sound more 'masc' but want to audition for a female character! I'm open to anything and even natural accents to a degree!

Nicky is generally cheerful and happy. He attempts to get along with everyone and is closest with Aaron despite their back and forth in this book. Nicky is easily upset by the tragedies of his teammates and I would say is sympathetic.
He also is flirty and kinda fruity but also grounded in a way. Nicky portrays himself as loud, optimistic, and extroverted cause the twins are the opposite but Nicky is probably a lot more reserved then he shows.
Even though this is an audiobook, I'd still like the voice lines to be acted!

"This is our entrance, Code changes every couple months, but Coach always lets us know when it does. Right now it's 0508. May and August, get it? Coach and Abby's birth months. Told you they were boning. When's your birthday?-[...] Oh, we missed it. But we recruited you in April, so that should count as the world's greatest present. What'd your girlfriend get you? [...] Come on, cute face like yours has to have a girlfriend. Unless you swing my way, of course, in which case please tell me now and save me the trouble of having to figure it out."
Nicky sighed "Can I check on your head, or are you going to bite me if I touch you? [Neil: What did I say last night?] Nothing to me besides an admirably creative death threat." Nicky's mouth quirked in the start of a smile but he suppressed it, maybe understanding Neil would punch him for it. "I don't know how your conversation with Andrew went, but it didn't end well. Rumor has it you paid a busboy a hundred bucks to knock you out. Way to cut our night short."
"I wouldn't say they hate each other, but they've got some pretty serious issues. Wouldn't you if you were them? Family means something different with us because it has to. It's not about blood. It's not even about who we like. It's about who Andrew's willing to protect."
She has a haughty attitude (arrogant and prideful), She is “that bitch” (or nicky says “catty bitch”). Even despite the haughty attitude, she is proud and strong-willed and does care about the foxes and is a girls girl.
Even though this is an audiobook, I'd still like the voice lines to be acted!

"I'm going to sit with you,"[ Neil: I can move if you want to sit here,] "No, this is fine." She smiled, but it had a smug edge to it. Allison looked back at Wymack and flicked her fingers in an impatient gesture. "This will be quick, won't it? It was a long flight and I'm exhausted.*
"That's stupid, Even the monster's got a date." [Neil: Renee?] "She hasn't asked him yet, but it's inevitable. ... Money's on the table as to whether or not he says yes. Pot's getting pretty big, so get your bet in fast." [Neil: Are Andrew and Renee…?] Allison gave a prim shrug. "Renee promises it'll never happen. I believe her," Allison pointed a chunk of bread at Neil. "You're running out of time to find a date. Ask Aaron to set you up with a Vixen. I'm sure Katelyn knows a pretty face or two."
"We should go shopping tomorrow," Allison said. "I'm going to need time to find the perfect dress. You," she pointed between Matt and Seth, "are in charge of getting Neil something real to wear. I've seen everything he owns. I don't trust him to choose something appropriate."
Kathy is a talk show host so she’s enthusiastic and outgoing and to me, has a fake sympathy vibe.
She’s also selfish to me as instead of being worried about what was going on on stage, it was just ratings for her. So she’s loud, outgoing, kinda fake, and flirtatious with her guests.
Please read the lines in the quotation marks!
She is a minor role but she is the talk show host and does have a lot of lines in Chapters 12 and 13!

"I want you on my show this morning [...] Everyone wants to know who you are," Kathy said, spreading her hands in a grand gesture. "You're a mystery addition to the Fox line, a rookie out of a tiny town in Arizona. Coach Hernandez says you picked Exy up in a year by reading a guidebook and showing up to practice. Kevin says you're going to sign with the US Court after graduation. Such ambitions and dreams from such a humble beginning, don't you think? It's time for your debut."
Kathy nodded sympathetically. "Can I just say it was terrifying when you two disappeared? The last we heard, you two had gone skiing to celebrate the end of the semester, and then no one saw either of you in public for a month. I feared the worst, but I didn't realize what the worst really was until Coach Wymack made his announcement." [...] "Heartbreaking," Kathy said sadly.
"Sounds like a difficult choice, Kevin," Kathy said. "I have to admit both ideas fascinate me. As much as I love watching the Foxes improve, it breaks my heart to see you away from Edgar Allan." [...] "That sounds like a challenge," Kathy cut in with a quick look between them. "You've got seven weeks until your match and I, for one, am already counting down the seconds. There's so much to look forward to this year, but one question can't wait: orange or black, Kevin? What color is your future?"

"Coach says you're a one-year rookie." **"Are you kidding me?"** a girl demanded, and Neil stared in surprise. The backliner Kevin had been fighting with all game was a woman. **"A national champion and an amateur? South Carolina's gotten even crazier than usual."**
Three shots later they scored. **"You can't win against us,"** the female backliner said to Neil. **"You guys suck."** "I'd rather be a Fox than a Jackal if you win by hurting your opponents," Neil said. "You're a team of pathetic bullies." She shoved against him chest-to-chest. **"Say that again. I dare you."** Neil wasn't impressed by her attitude.
He snagged the fallen ball and bolted with it. **"Fucking whore!"** she yelled after him. Neil carried the ball ten steps and threw it to Kevin. Leverett stepped in front of him. **"You got lucky."** You're getting slow," Neil said.

**"Is it true?"** the Jackal dealer called over to him. **"Coach says you're a one-year rookie."**
"A national champion and an amateur? South Carolina's gotten even crazier than usual." **"An amateur and a cripple, you mean,"** the dealer said.
"-Start another fight and you'll be out the rest of the game." **"Leverett!"** the dealer yelled in warning. **"Back off!"**
Basically for this audiobook, I will be slicing the lines and recordings together but then I need someone who can get rid of background sounds or mouth sounds that slip through and just clean up the audio for me!
We can chat about which is easier for you too, giving everything as is or me slicing everything together first
