After October (Original Voiced Web Series)
Project Overview
After October is a Youtube web series completely voiced, with a large cast of diverse characters. I'm currently looking for voice actors and staff who would like to help this series come into fruition. This is an unpaid professional project, but I will also be judging based on your cooperativeness with the team and fellow voice actors.
The format of auditions will be AABBCC, which means have at least two takes for each line. Please make sure that each take sound different from one another, so I can see your range in portraying emotions.
Our main form of communication will be through Discord, so please include your tag in your audition.
REQUIREMENTS
- Have a clear mic with little to no background noise. White noise can be cancelled out with editing, but auditions with a cleaner audio will take priority.
- Be willing to dedicate yourself to a long term project with a large staff and team. Inactivity isn't taken too well. You don't need to constantly talk, but updates are appreciated.
- Basic reading is absolutely necessary. A majority of After October's script writing and character sheets are compiled into documents that are shared within the server. Please be willing to learn about the series and the characters you voice.
- Please be open minded before entering this project. After October may tackle some darker themes in the future, and quite a few characters are members of the LGBTQ+ community.
- I will be accepting auditions from all ages, but auditions from people aged 18 and older will take priority.

March is one of the characters in the 12 month main cast. He is the owner of the gym where the main character, October trains, and treats her like a little sister. He is meant to have a strong, confident voice and an Australian accent.
(playful) I've always got your back, kiddo.. Now drop and give me ten.
(protective) You've got another thing coming if you think you can mess with me and my girls.
(nervous) Would you want to.. maybe.. get some dinner tonight- with me..?
May is one of the characters in the 12 month main cast. She is the mother of one of the other main characters, April, and she runs a daycare. She has a quiet, whispery voice, but sounds stern when needed.
(dejected) Every little thing I do will never be enough for you..
(seething) Stay away from those children.. You will never be their mother.
(smitten) Oh, I'm going to see Mr. Goldheardt today.. Would you like to come along?
Kumiho is one of the characters in the 12 counterpart villain cast. She is the counterpart of February and is a Mathematics teacher in the same school. Kumiho has a flirtatious, smooth voice, and should be able to read simple Korean expressions, as well as have a light accent. A good reference for the voice we're looking for is Lady Rainicorn from Adventure Time.
(sly) Clever.. but not clever enough.
(solemn) You're still so young.. You really shouldn't be a part of something like this.
(shrieking) Get it off of me, get it off of me!
Banshee is one of the characters in the 12 counterpart villain cast. She is the counterpart of March and is a social media influencer. She is meant to have a pick-me type voice, who can drop her range in serious situations.
(persistent) You have to walk me home today! You have to!
(pretentious) Don't you dare touch me! Do you even know who I am?!
(eerie) Hey, come out! I know you.. Wendigo is looking all over for you~ Make my job easier, no?
Ursa is one of the characters in the 12 counterpart villain cast. She is the counterpart of May and is a fake daycare assistant. Ursa is one of the most unhinged characters of the cast, and has a voice very similar to Mommy Long Legs of Poppy Playtime.
(coy) So pitiful.. So sad.. Don't worry! Mother is here to take care of you..
(mocking) What do you want from me? Where am I? (sighs) All of you ask the same boring questions, it bores me, truly..
(maniacal) They're mine! Mine! You will regret this, Alice.. The next time I see you, it will be to kill you! Do you hear me?!
Penggin is one of the characters in the 12 counterpart villain cast. She is the counterpart of June and is her personal manager. Penggin is very soft spoken, but has a professional air surrounding her character.
(hasty) Wait! You'll be late for your next appointment, Miss Bienvenu!
(apprehensive) Stop right there! I.. need to ask you a few questions.
(wailing) P-Please put me down! You and I both have some work to do! Your actions have consequences!
Griffin is one of the characters in the 12 counterpart villain cast. She is the counterpart of July and is a strict flight instructor. Griffin has a deep, heavy voice that commands attention. Her voice is scruff and has a thick Russian accent.
(serious) Stand up straight, munchkin. You aren't taking a break under my wing.
(insulting) You call that flying? You look like my grandchildren's broken kite. Again!
(solemn) I may have underestimated you, little one.. Listen carefully. The hangar you and your friends need to get to is unguarded at 2 AM every Tuesday. Make haste.
Byakko is one of the characters in the 12 counterpart villain cast. He is the counterpart of August and is a fellow security guard who used to be in a gang with May. Byakko speaks with strong passion in his voice, and sounds like he is always ready to fight.
(agitated) Oi! Fight me like a man, coward!
(lighthearted) There's always next time, Kumiho! Come! Join me! Let's make up for this loss with karaoke!
(infatuated) A-Alice.. Ah! Ahem! Haha! Yes, long time no see, my good friend!
Azeban is one of the characters in the 12 counterpart villain cast. He is the counterpart of September and is a fake caretaker. Azeban is a massive germaphobe and is one of the unhinged characters along with Ursa. He is preferred to have a light British accent, but any accent is fine as long as the voice matches the character.
(disgust) Ugh! Don't touch me with your filthy hands..
(malicious) Disgusting old man.. Someone is ought to teach you a lesson.. (cackling)
(screaming) Gahh!! The lights! Turn off the lights!!!
Yeti is one of the characters in the 12 counterpart villain cast. He is the counterpart of November and is currently an art student in the same course. Yeti speaks in a very slow, lazy tone, but still has a fairly deep register for a goofy voice.
(lazy) Heyyy.. Let's go visit that crepe shop together, okayyy?
(groggy) "Wh- Huh..? Good morning, little miss.. (yawn) I'm a little tired, so bother me later..
(threatening) Oh.. I don't think you heard me right the first time.. I said.. you can't.. leave.
Megalodon is one of the characters in the 12 counterpart villain cast. He is the counterpart of December and is his landlord. Megalodon has a playboy like nature, and is very flirtatious. He is meant to have a youthful voice with a defined rasp.
(annoyed) I've been pretty patient with you, so let me ask you again. Where's the rent, fuckass?
(concerned) Oh, you just break my heart, Oz! ..but I'm being serious. You're not going anywhere, you hear me?
(flirty) Oh, MAMA, WHAT A BABE! AGK--
I am looking for someone who is overflowing with ideas and is good with words. After October has a rough draft of the storyline, but no proper script writer or writing team to put these thoughts into play. There will be as little swearing as possible, and I need people who are able to write for completely different characters.
Each and every character in this series has a distinct way of talking and portraying their thoughts, and I need a team that can convey this well through the script.

The character artist's jobs is to assist our main artist in creating character sprites, scene CGs, and small chibi drawings for each character.
Character artists will have the freedom to create extra characters who may appear as a cameo in the back of a scene.

Background artists will have the responsibility of creating the environment After October is based in. This will include landscape scenes, and detailed captures of many different sceneries in the world building.
For reference, Doki Doki Literature Club and the backgrounds that appear in it are good examples, and the type of setting the city is resembles the Midtown in the Steam game, Stray (2022).

After October will require short, original, looped BGM audios to back up the voice actors in each scene. This will require a different theme for each one, such as suspense, romance, high tension chase scenes, etc.
