After Hours Studios - IDW Comic Casting
Project Overview
Hello Everyone!
Welcome to After Hours Studios' casting call for our fandub of the IDW Sonic comic series!
About The Project
This project will be a complete dub of the entirety of IDW, including any new issues coming out in the future. We will do one issue at a time, but IDW is one of our main focuses. When an issue is assigned, voice actors will be given two weeks to submit their lines before a backup is used instead. We will try to keep things flowing, so deadlines are needed for everyone.
What Is Expected?
While this is all for fun and purely for our enjoyment, we want to bring the best quality we can for people to enjoy! So, make sure you have the best quality you can for your auditions! There is no specific kind of microphone we are looking for; just make sure your voice is clear and there is no background noise! Also, please do at least two takes for each line, up to a maximum of three!
When You're Casted...
...You'll be given a link to our Discord server and given a special role! With this role, you'll be able to access our production channels, allowing you to interact and speak with the rest of the team involved. Even if you aren't casted, the Discord server is a public one for all our fans! You just won't be able to see what we're doing behind the scenes.
But Most Importantly...
...Have fun! This is all due to passion, and we all just want to deliver entertainment for everyone and have fun doing it! So go wild with what you do, and don't be afraid to try something crazy! Even if you're not casted, we might keep you in mind for future projects! And believe me, we have plenty of ideas in store! So go forth, and give it your all!

Zavok Reopening
So after taking a look over things, we're going to be re-opening Zavok for a few days more! We simply did not find the right fit just yet. The general issues we've found have been either a lack of energy when being loud, or the pitch is too high. For those who have tried already, this is your second chance! For those of you who are knew, take this information for yourselves and give it your all! Good luck!

Zavok is the fearsome leader of the Deadly Six. Combining brutish strength with intense cunning, Zavok achieves a balance between both worlds in the worst of ways- for his enemies, that is.
Zavok should have a medium-low to low-pitched voice. The VA should be able to achieve both loud, brutish screaming and calm, calculating monologues.

(Disappointed) Tsk, tsk. Honestly, doctor. You know we can control your robots, and yet you send one to attack?
(Praising Sonic) I admire your tenacity. For what is perseverance, if not a lesser form of ruthlessness? You are indeed a mighty warrior. The most challenging foe we have ever faced.
(Furious and Roaring) WITH THE LAST OF MY STRENGTH, I WILL CRUSH YOU-!

Part of a criminal pair, Tumble goes on odd jobs with his best buddy Rough. Together, there's nothing that can stand in their way! ...Except for Sonic and his friends, but they don't talk about that
Tumble should have a medium/low-pitched voice, but there can be some leeway in that department. Any accent will do, but be sure to encapsulate Tumble's brutish nature and loud emotions.

(Depressed) That's not fair.. I had a tail again. The length. The heft. I had it all back… Heartless. You're just heartless. All I ever wanted to do was cave your head in…
(Confident, then Panicked) We've been saving the big guns for last! —Huh?! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!!
