Acceptance (TS3 Sims 3 Voice Over)

Acceptance (TS3 Sims 3 Voice Over)

Project Overview

This is a YouTube bound TS3 series that will only have one season. It will be posted on my YT channel labeled FrozenSimming Productions. No exact date is set for deadlines yet, so the current deadline on this casting call will be continuously extended.

Acceptance is a series that revolves around a girl named Wilda. The story is to explain each character's past and why they either feel insecure or want to change themselves. While almost everyone wants to become better for their own self, one girl brings back issues for a boy named James. In their small community, this is seen as major harm to someone. Wilda, being the biggest reject in the group, is fighting against this outsider, not only for James's safety but also out of growing love for him.

Voice: She has a normal voice tone and sounds a bit younger than her age. But her voice is strong and generally confident.

Story: Wilda has been the outcast of her town, and moved away once she was old enough with her brother. Now in a new town, she's experienced her brother commit suicide and cast out again for her genetic mutation (albinism). Through her struggles with her new friends, she's fighting to be accepted for who she is instead of conforming to society.

  • (Depressed) "It's not like I was Willie... He was more 'normal' than I'll ever be in life."

  • (Stubborn/Irritated) "But I like this color. It makes my eyes stand out."

  • (Embarrassed/Nervous) "Th... Thank you. I haven't heard that in a long time."

Voice: Her voice is lighter and gentle. The only moments where it would become sharp is when she's in a negative mood.

Page grew up in a normal householdĀ but did experience bullying as a kid for being a natural red head. She didn't let it stop her from enjoying life though.

  • (Joking/Light Hearted) "You're in that bed until noon almost every day. How much longer until you two marry?"

  • (Child-like/To dog) "Good job, Ginger! You're such a good girl!"

  • (Irritated) "Why are you even doing this to her? She's never done anything to you!"

Ideal Voice: Tessa has a strong and slightly masculine voice. It's a bit rough, but people still find it comforting.

Due to her father being a white man, she was shunned from her community for being "too light". While she doesn't care about her skin tone, she's scared of others' racism.

  • (Bored/Monotone) "It's boring. I'm only finishing it since I bought the book."

  • (Energized) "Come on! I know you love my cooking. Try this new dish out!"

  • (Angry) "You watch your back. Getting on my bad side will only hurt you."

Ideal Voice: A sweet and warm voice that'd fit the precious big brother stereotype. A teenage voice is preferred as this character's lines are from memories.

Willie was Wilda's older brother who suffered from bullying as a kid due to a birth defect. Even after surgery to fix his lip, Willie still struggled with his confidence and being a big brother for Wilda. In the end, depression took his life from him.

  • (Forced) "I'm alright, Wilda. Just go play."

  • (Irritated/Frustrated) "I'm tired of it! I don't want to keep wearing this mask!"

  • (Depressed) "Wilda, I'm sorry... for everything... For letting you down."

Ideal Voice: Smooth and medium level. He usually doesn't have many pitch changes in his voice.

James grew up where everyone pestered and glorified him for his talents. He wanted the attention to stop and has now moved to a new town with his best friend to start over.

  • (Awkward) "Uhh, yeah... Sure. It's nice to meet you too..."

  • (Jokingly/Happy) "You're not going to beat me!"

  • (Hurt/Sad) "I'm so sorry... I... don't know what to say."

Ideal Voice: A little higher than the average male voice. Sometimes nasally when too excited.

Evan was one of the top guys in his old town with James, but whenever he tried to express his true self, people rejected him. With constant belittling and harassment for being a science nerd, it was him who suggested that he and James moved.

  • (Optimistic) "We will both have a better life here! One where you won't be bombarded with chicks and one where people will appreciate my intelligence!"

  • (Irritated) "Can't you leave us alone? We're tired of you stalking us!"

  • (Shy/Awkward) "Yeah... I like her a lot."

Ideal Voice: She has a higher voice that fits the "popular/plastic" stereotype. There's general sass in it and it's easy to tell she's from a big city.

Sierra has always had a high ego, and it won't go away anytime soon. Not only is she rude, but racist, a snob, and judgemental of anyone who's of lower social class or different in appearance. She's the antagonist of the series.

  • (Flirtatious/Obnoxious) "Oh, well hello! Why you look absolutely scrumptious!"

  • (Bored/Laid-Back) "I really don't care about that ghetto chick. You should stop talking about her already."

  • (Irritated) "No. I'm not going to stop! I saw him first, and I'm a lot more worthy than any of the Three Stooges across the street!"
