Abyssal Depths (Killing Spectacular Edition) begins with Rowan, a 25 year old Non-binary protagonist who wakes up with a serious wound on their abdomen. When they figure out they're in a place that they've never seen before, they begin to freak out, and that's when they learn that he, and 16 other students who were supposed to attend a mysterious academy, were given the role of Ultimate, instead all woke up inside what seems to be a Frutiger-aero-inspired museum aquarium. After meeting with the 16 other students, they're told that they're supposed to make their way towards the main entrance, and that's when they meet a mysterious figure who tells them they must participate...
In a Danganronpa-esque killing game!
Follow our project as we follow Rowan's descent into the thrilling despair and mystery that comes with the murders and investigations of his fellow classmates!
This project is run by one director, who also handles the 2d/3d art and video editing for the project. We are only currently looking for voice actors and possible composers, and in the future, may also feature guest artists who would like to work on the project, for CG art.
The project also has its entire prologue complete, with video drafted and edited. Chapter 1 is still in the works, and the notes and scripting have made significant progress. Auditions will be held for the characters until the end of the year, or until Chapter 1 has made a comfortable amount of progress, so we can begin work with our voice actors. With the ladder being more likely, as a big chunk of the work has already been completed.

Rowan Connifer is the protagonist of this new Killing Game semester. His fellow college classmates have described Rowan as someone you can look up to in dire situations and trust that they will lead you in the right direction, even if it comes to his own detriment. Also described as someone who is Stern, Empathetic, and Perceptive, he speaks with authority and confidence.
Despite his altruistic traits, he is rather judgmental, quick to assess others negatively from their own more eccentric traits, while being blind to their own quirks that others may see as aggressive.
His voice can be described as a Deep, authoritative voice that also references his punk-like appearance, and care for others. Like a father who wants the best for his own children, despite their constant schemes.

Orianna Tomate is a young prodigy scouted by the academy for quick graduation and excellence in City Planning. Despite being depicted by her classmates as someone highly intelligent, who is quick-witted and assertive, she still struggles with trying to make a name for herself because of her age.
Being treated only as a young child by many people in her life, she is determined to make a name for herself and to be as helpful as she can during the Killing Game Semester, despite her rather young age. A people-pleaser by nature and not one to try to make a fuss about situations, she follows the lead of the others, while attempting her best to chime in with possible solutions.
Orianna's Voice is young, timid, but bright like her future, and while sometimes she can be shy when talking, when she is passionate, she is assertive and loud.

Leslay Go-Go was chosen by the academy for her skills in planning large events, choreography, pyrotechnics, and the safety of thousands of people attending large-scale raves. Always eager to spill facts about her special interests and other interesting things she has learned from others, she is not only just a comedic relief character, but also someone who is caring and makes a great friend to others.
Always trying her best to help others even in the most dire of situations, she has been described by her classmates as someone loud, eccentric, and Bold. Someone who isn't afraid to show off and to loudly proclaim her love not only for her friends, but for her special interests. Rambunctious by nature and always scheming a way to bring the others together to forget about the dire situation they're in, Leslay always has her heart in the right place, even if it may lead her to making questionable decisions.
Leslay's voice is soft, but eccentric, loud when it needs to be, and often finds itself in a cadence that can be described as sing-songy whenever she is excited. She also has a valley girl accent.

Marcella Smitten is a bright Librarian who loves to read, write, and even act out some of the plays she has a special interest in. Calculated, but empathetic, she makes sure to let the others know about her experiences, and always brings a journal with her to jot down notes, ideas, and even scenarios that she witnesses to give herself future inspiration for her work.
She was not only chosen for her work as a librarian, but also because of her Savant-like nature and her ability to teach others willing to learn about advanced topics. Always worried about the others and the safety of those closest to her, she decides the best action is to be plan-oriented and to keep an eye on those she cares about.
Despite this, she often finds herself daydreaming about the novels she reads and writes, and about the next time she's able to publish something that she can add to her growing library at home. Often finding herself jotting many notes in her personal journal to keep track not only of her surroundings but also of her thoughts.
Marcella's Voice can be described as a mid-range adult woman, a quiet librarian who has a very warm and welcoming tone. Someone you could trust to teach you complex math without making you cry.

Tessa Lurie is a Mural Artist renowned in the world for her beautiful and striking work. However, it usually goes uncredited as she's more excited by the thought of being a hidden artist than someone out in the limelight. Usually, designing murals and beautiful art pieces around the world for massive establishments and even small mom-and-pop shops, Tessa has an eye for the beauty in the world despite its flaws.
Others describe her as a meticulous artist who has an eye for detail and a bit of an addiction to paint. While she is very straightforward in her talking and thinking, others often mistake her admiration for the human body and its beauty for something perverted and twisted, and while some of her obsessions with the bodies of others can be off-putting, she means the best, only wanting to paint others in the light of beauty that she sees. Especially when it's a body type that is unique or not often seen.
Tessa's voice can be described as boisterous, excited, and welcoming. It can be mistaken for flirty by others, but she would describe it herself as a friendly camp counselor.

Rosaleen Myrna is a very lucky and determined person. Accepted into the school originally as a reserve course student who paid to attend higher education, she was eventually enlisted in the school's lottery for scholarship and won, giving her the ultimate talent, Lucky Student.
She can be rather enigmatic, but she is a hopeful and cheery person who puts her future ahead, with a focus on learning and education. Despite her rather "bland" personality compared to the rest of the cast, her body language is very expressive, as well as her voice. Eager to chime in, cut off others, or blatantly state information in order to keep a discussion going, she has an insatiable curiosity to learn despite her low self-esteem.
Her voice is mid-range with focus on expression and emphasis on words. Her delivery of speaking can be rather off-putting to others sometimes, but she has the best intentions in mind.

Vrill Biscayne, the Ultimate Park Ranger, grew up isolated from others and deep within nature. Not used to social situations and not even understanding what friendship means, the young adult often finds himself berating and belittling himself in fear that he's making a mistake in any social situation. Often needing explicit confirmation that what he is saying is normal.
Despite his abundant social flaws, scaredy-cat-like nature, and naivety, he is still a kind person who wears his heart on his sleeve, despite that it often sets him up for criticism from others. Often blurting out his excitement, fear, or other emotions loudly for others to hear, they theorize that he does it out of instinct and doesn't even realize what he is saying at times.
Vrill's Voice can be described as a Higher-pitched, fun, and eccentric voice. One that may be seen as annoying at times when he blurts out, but one that is sincere.

Augustus Yarman was scouted for his ability to lead people, and because he is the heir to a throne in a country that has a high status in the world. Chosen exclusively because of nepotism and because his father threw enough money to enroll his son, Augustus is pompous, vain, and Loud. Commenting on others' social norms, constantly confusing things for a difference in culture, Augustus is often seen as someone who only cares for himself.
Despite his outward appearance, deep below is a resonating feeling with the others, and a fear of the situation he's been placed in. Coddled for his entire life and given anything he wants, he now has to work for his own survival, and for the first time, grow as a person alongside others who aren't sycophants because of his status.
Augustus has an ambiguously foreign accent. A mid-tone voice, which is often loud and excitable, with snobbish and ostentatious undertones.

Kawan Yama, the Twin of Neema Yama, is the opposite of his loud-mouthed and emotional first sister. Being more calculative and ready to act in any situation as his role required him, he was chosen by the academy for the countless lives he saved on duty. Just like Rowan, he's very intelligent and perceptive, constantly keeping an eye on anything and everything he can, ready for a moment's notice to provide help for the others.
However, his priority will always be the protection of his twin sister Neema. Sticking together like glue from the beginning to the end, he will drop anything at a moment's notice, the moment his sister needs help. Despite his cold and calculative nature and his desensitization, the impact of the killing game and its surroundings wears on him, but despite this, he perseveres with a slight smile on his face and a hope for the future for him and his sister.
Kawan's voice is mid-range to Deep. Tired all the time, he speaks in what others think is a rather calm voice, despite the situation. However, at times, he, too, can be boisterous just like his sister.

Neema Yama, the Twin of Kawan Yama, is the opposite of her Calm and calculating brother. She's emotional and reacts before she thinks. Many times, she finds herself pushing the others away and cursing them out because of the fear that if she gets too close, they might harm her. However, she does worry about the others; she constantly worries and often spirals at the thought of the situation she is in. With her brother there to comfort her, however, she often is quick to apologize to the others for what she says, especially after acting with her heart first.
Chosen by the academy for her ability to tear anything apart, understand its components quickly, and be able to rebuild it on her own, Neema is a very intelligent engineer who is able to make anything given the parts, the schematics, or the machine. Making tons of innovations around the world, and especially for her brother's line of work, she has helped thousands of lives through medical inventions.
Neema's voice is mid-ranged. She has a very reactive and loud voice and often shouts. Similarly to Kawan, when she isn't reacting to something, her voice is calm and tired.

Eddison Silas was chosen by the academy for his amazing singing skills, especially in the soprano tone that he uses in the choir. While others need helium in order to reach these pitches, Eddison has a natural talent that allows him to reach those high-pitches with ease, able to shatter small glass bottles with his whistle notes.
Despite his raw talent, Eddison is very self-conscious, timid, and shy. Often easily scared by small things and the target of bullying by others because of his reactive nature. While he is also a prodigy like Orianna, he usually downplays a lot of his abilities. However, he is quick to chime in and joke with others, and often mentions his devotion to his religion and spirituality.
Eddison has a High-Pitched voice and can be seen as childish at times. His voice is timid and often stutters out of nervousness.

Runihara was chosen for his ability to quickly clean and dispose of biohazardous and biological waste. Often, cleaning crime scenes to the point where it's as if nothing has happened. Allowing people to return to normalcy in public spaces after a tragic event.
Runihara is cold, calculated, and meticulous. Oftentimes, he forgets that other people experience emotions, and is quick to state things that may be unsettling or uncomfortable, despite its relavency or truth. Despite being desensitized to the crimes and horrors of the world, he still wants to prevent anyone from doing something that could harm another. Initiating others to stick together and to keep an eye on each other during the killing game so a death doesn't occur.
Runihara has a mid-tone to deep voice. Runihara's voice is Monotone and straightforward, always stating this factually despite the emotional impact it may give.

Gianna Profaci comes from a very rich family that others are too afraid to ask if it's intertwined with the Mafia. She carries an intense aura that is suppressive; people are usually too afraid to speak up to her, not only because she carries herself with confidence, but also because she is not afraid to get physical in order to get what she wants done. She was chosen by the academy because her father thought it would be good to enroll her, as she was rather closed off from others outside of her family's circle; it would be good for her social benefit to meet others with conflicting ideologies.
Giana takes a more antagonistic role in the killing game, making it apparent from the get-go that she intends to win it, and she will not die in the aquarium that they are held hostage in. She will take any action needed to not only secure her own safety, but to confirm her survival. However, despite her antagonistic nature, she too is just as scared as the rest of the cast about the horrific situation she's been placed in.

Odin Copperson is what others describe as a gentle giant. A very tall, muscular man who has a deep and caring heart. He's timid, but despite his closed-off nature, he's very caring and kind to others around him. Animals seem to gravitate towards him like a magnet, and because of this, he was chosen by the academy for saving thousands of strays and finding them loving homes forever.
Awkward by nature and often wanting to turn away from the reality of the situation, Odin's head seems to constantly be in the clouds, and he doesn't often talk to others. His actions speak mainly for him as he constantly does things for others and provides a constant helping hand to Vrill, boosting both of their confidence and allowing them to open up more to the others.
Odin has a deep voice, bass-like and often quiet and timid. He doesn't talk all too often, but when he does, he speaks with a pragmatic and empathetic tone.

Qiyana Reese is a highly intelligent and welcoming woman. She is described by her classmates as someone you can trust and rely on, and someone who will stick with you even during the most difficult of situations. Acting as Rowan's Deuteragonist, Qiyana tags along the side of Rowan not only because she thinks they will protect her, but also because the two seem to have a sort of bond from the get-go, which they later realize is because they went to the same middle school.
She was chosen by the academy for her ability to quickly sort things into easily digestible information, as well as her ability to quickly calculate mathematical problems in her head alone. She is shy, but she is not afraid to speak up and to tell others when they're wrong, especially given that they're in a life-or-death situation.
Qiyana's Voice is mid-range, soft, warm, but also assertive. Similarly to a teacher who truly cares about her students.

Ardine Coverheart is a Quiet, quick-thinking kleptomaniac. When he's not losing his impulse controls to snatch or steal something, he's quiet, thinking and planning... probably on what's next to steal. Despite often losing against his impulse control, he was chosen by the academy to become a sports caster because of his impeccable voice, and the ability to really hype a crowd up. His favorite sport that he covers is water polo, and he has a lot of strong opinions about it.
Usually in his own headspace, and similarly to Odin, closed off, he is usually one word away from bursting into an energetic and excited sprawl about his interests. Which usually tend to be sports.
Ardine's voice is mid-ranged to deep, and he has a Texan accent. His voice is quiet at times and subtle, but whenever he's excited, it goes into full commentary mode.

We're looking for skilled musicians and composers who can help bring music to the scenes we are making! While we already have some tracks and OSTs that were composed, it would be nice to possibly have someone who can help create a custom OST for the project!
