A Tribute To Dahlia (Rubberface)

A Tribute To Dahlia (Rubberface)

Project Overview

A Tribute to Dahlia, otherwise referred to as Rubberface, is a collection of previous lost, forsaken tapes. It follows the story of the young couple Spencer & Susan Gore, who established the Gore Toy Company! Due to prior health issues, the two didn’t have the ability to have a child. However, by some miracle, Susan became pregnant. The whole city of Atlana rejoiced, happy for the two. Susan, who already created dolls for a living, made many for her upcoming daughter. However, devastation struck the town as Susan had lost her unborn daughter, who was to be named Dahlia. She died during childbirth. However, her soul was too spoiled by her mothers toys and clothes that she couldn’t move onto the afterlife. She latched onto her mother, refusing to let go. She wanted nothing but her motherly bond with Susan, and to be connected to what she had left of her childhood. This began by Dahlia possessing Susan herself! Going insane, her husband made a series of television animations as a tribute to the unborn child (hence the title)… The possession got to the point where Susan had no choice but to end her life to escape Dahlia’s grasp. Now, no longer having her mother to possess… she takes control of what she had left of her childhood… The very dolls that were created by her parents. Spencer, mourning the loss of his daughter and wife, hid the animations from the public. However, years later he came to the realization that it would be best to refrain from hiding from his past. He re-uploaded the very same videos he deleted beforehand, and fought off the dolls one by one, encouraging Dahlia to finally rest in peace.

A man, who at times is shown in his elderly years. However, sometimes there are flashbacks to his past (mid adulthood)… He runs a lot of the business aspects of the Gore Toy Company, which is founded by his wife. He’s always supported her career and road to success! He has a low masculine voice. You can take inspiration from Henry’s monologue in FNAF 6.

  • I came to the conclusion that uploading these files to be viewed by the public rather than hiding them was the best solution to our dilemma. I at first hesitated to reopen my wounds, but a soul such as Dahlia’s is one that must always be remembered. Even without the quality time she had yet to experience on earth, the preparation for her arrival was my happiest point in life. Watch these tapes with a whole heart, and you too will not grieve but celebrate her potential.

  • The day I saw her lifeless face was the day I truly fell in love. Although she may have been deceased, her still body laid there flawlessly, her arms spread out like christ himself. I couldn’t keep my eyes from her tiny self, even when she was confiscated by the midwives. My husband sat there sobbing, but those several hours of labor were truly my best moments in life itself.
