Project Overview
A Single Sole Desire is a custom battle MOD made for the game "Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero!" A 4th installment to the Budokai Tenkaichi (Sparking!) Series.
What exactly is a custom battle?
a Custom Battle is a feature on Sparking Zero that allows players to essentially make their own "missions", it lncludes the ability to set conditions for dialogue, cutscenes, or other various effects to make their own vision come true (with limitations)
What's the difference between Custom Battle and Custom Battle Mod
So the difference between the two is that the Mod is where I export the Custom Battle from the game and reimport as a mod, essentially this allows me to rewrite all texts (yes title, dialogue, and all), as well as edit images and add an unlimited amount of subtitles or cutscenes as needed.
This means that if I wanted to important custom made images for the cutscenes for the game (like say Gohan trying to wake Piccolo up despite knowing he is in fact "dead"), I could easily do that with the mod.
It also means I can add Custom Voicelines (which as of writing this, while I do know its already being done from other people, I myself, have not attempted this.)
What is this project about exactly?
A Single Sole Desire is a one-shot about if Gohan had transformed to the "Legendary" Super Saiyan form in the Saiyan Saga.
Which although imo would never realistically happen in a story, that's what makes this one-shot fun, the rules don't matter.
It's major intention was to try out the recently released Custom Battle Exporter/Importer tool made by Nyoh972 on Gamebananas and see how far I can go. Thank these wonderful modders by the way.
Does this mod lead anywhere else?
Potentially, I want it to be a two, possibly even three parter, yes I called it a "one-shot" but the restrictions I have, require me to make it two-three missions for it to work in total, but the story itself is oneshot.
The first mission you'll play as the enemy.
The second you play as Gohan.
Details are staying vague but a little thinking can probably tell the obvious.
Eventually, somewhere down the road, I might make more, maybe even an actual full story-mode.

This will be the person that helps with the cutscenes by drawing out any "2D Cutscenes"
To simply put, it just means you would create any images that may be needed to help the flow of the Cutscenes.
I will take the created image and put it into mod myself.

Give me your best Narration and no, you don't need to be "emulating" the official narrator from the source material. We just need a good narrator that's all : ), still to keep the "dark" feel I'm going for this project, I would like a somewhat deep voice.
Although Raditz had survived the encounter with Piccolo and Goku, he was forced to retreat, wounded.
A year passes and he returns with the two other Saiyans, Vegeta and Nappa, as they come for the Dragon Balls.
With Chiaotzu already defeated, it leaves only five defenders to Earth.
He has literally one line. Give me your best take on Raditz.
Good. They're all here. I'll be able to get a little payback for what they did to me last year
The main "Villain" throughout this project as you could refer to him as. Nappa will have the most lines alongside Vegeta since Raditz will be quickly casted away in the beginning of the battle.
Besides, you're not the only one who gets to have a little fun, Raditz!
Murderers? Ahaha! I prefer to think it more professional, like a cleaner or something, getting rid of the weak from the universe.

Vegeta, essentially the "leader" of the three Saiyans as he was. He has a few lines here but doesn't partake until the second part to the one-shot battle Sparking Zero storyline.
Don't overestimate yourself Raditz, even as you are now, we don't need repeat of before.
Careful! His power level..it's..It's skyrocketing, Nappa!
Nappa! Get out of there! It's way past twenty-thousand!
Has a single line. Subject to change, but it won't be more than a couple, one which may be dying breaths if we can fit in the cutscenes.
A little fun? Tch! I'll show you that this isn't some game like you think it is!
Just do your best "last breath" noise here if that makes any sense.
If you ever remember my casting calls from the failed audiodrama that I never got to put out, you'll know I'm not looking for some "Stephanie Nadonly" or "Colleen Clinkenbeard" Copycat. I just want whoever auditions to give their best voice they can think of for Gohan.
So treat this kind of as if you don't know anything about the source material (meaning Dragon Ball and it's entirety)
Gohan is a young five year old boy, halfbreed to a nearly-extinct Saiyan warrior race, and a completely populated Human race. He is soft, gentle, caring, and kind, but he can be strong and you definitely do not want to make him mad. If you mess with his friends he will do his best to protect them and come for you.
Oddly though his friends include a 20 something year bald midget, who's also his Dad's friend, and a green demon that kidnapped him and trained him for an entire year.
You..You killed him! .. He's dead and it's all your fault! Murderers!
Don't call me that! I'll never be like you! I'll make you pay for what you did to Mister Piccolo!
