A Day with Sakuya Franchise
Project Overview
In this thrilling series, Sakuya Aruko takes center stage, navigating a world of adventure, danger, and personal trials. Standing in her way is the cunning and obsessive Steven Cobbison, a nerdy classmate with a sinister streak, and Serena Von Profonde, a vengeful former friend and the true mastermind of chaos—an outcast from her own clan, driven by jealousy and ambition. Amidst the turmoil, Sakuya finds both challenge and solace in her strict yet deeply caring boyfriend, Yang Azhong. With every twist and turn, she faces formidable foes, unexpected allies, and the weight of her own destiny.

Sakuya is a mischievous and free-spirited angel, embodying both innocence and defiance in equal measure. With a childlike curiosity and boundless energy, she often finds herself easily swayed by temptations, whether it’s indulging in earthly pleasures or following a more rebellious path against divine expectations. Her immaturity makes him naive to the consequences of his actions, yet it also grants her a sense of wonder and spontaneity that sets her apart from his more disciplined peers.
Despite her recklessness, Sakuya has a strong heart and an unshakable sense of loyalty when it truly matters. When her family or loved ones are in danger, he can cast aside his childish tendencies to become fiercely protective, proving himself to be both intelligent and courageous.

Steven Cobbison is a sharp-minded and ruthless schemer, embodying the dark side of intelligence when mixed with bitterness and resentment. At first glance, he appears to be just another unpleasant, socially awkward nerd—obsessive, self-important, and prone to looking down on those he deems less intelligent. His selfish nature makes him difficult to get along with, and his tendency to hold grudges turns even minor inconveniences into long-lasting vendettas.
However, as the series progresses, Steven’s cruelty and vengefulness take center stage, particularly due to his ongoing rivalry with Sakuya. Every time the angel unwittingly ruins his carefully calculated plans, Steven’s anger festers, twisting his intellect into something far more dangerous. His schemes become more elaborate, his sadism more pronounced, and his unpredictability makes him a formidable adversary. Unlike Sakuya, whose impulsiveness often leads him into trouble, Steven is methodical—plotting revenge with patience and precision, knowing exactly how to make his enemies suffer.
Despite his vindictive nature, there is a softer, more genuine side to Steven. This is most evident when he’s around the members of the Steve Cobs Fan Club, where he lets his guard down and shows a more likable, even humorous personality. Among his friends, he can be charismatic and surprisingly loyal, proving that beneath his cruelty lies someone capable of warmth—if only for those he deems worthy.

Serena is a force of sheer willpower, driven by ambition and an unrelenting thirst for power. Cold, aggressive, and vengeful, she is acutely aware of her own darkness and embraces it fully, using every opportunity to carve her path to the top. Her ruthlessness knows no bounds—she is willing to betray, manipulate, and even kill if it means securing her place in the world. Her actions, such as attempting to murder Sakuya for his rightful heirship, turning against the Strings of Fate clan, and aligning with Legion for her own benefit, prove that her ambition outweighs her loyalty to both family and friends.
Serena’s cunning and pragmatism make her an unpredictable adversary. She does not let emotions cloud her judgment, nor does she hesitate when making difficult choices. Anyone who stands in her way—whether relative, ally, or enemy—is merely an obstacle to be removed. Her temporary alliance with Legion is a prime example of her willingness to play the long game, betraying even her closest companions if she believes it will serve her greater purpose.
However, despite her darkness, Serena is not entirely irredeemable. Her arc in Rise of Legion showcases the complexity of her character, culminating in an unexpected yet meaningful shift. Though she spent much of the story as Sakuya’s relentless enemy, she ultimately chooses to save him, signaling a transformation that leads to the series’ conclusion. Whether this act stems from newfound understanding, guilt, or a final attempt to reclaim some shred of humanity is left to interpretation—but it solidifies her as a character who, despite everything, is still capable of change.

Kuroyomi Knaku, or simply Kuro, is a demon butler with an enigmatic presence, blending mischief with wisdom in equal measure. As a trickster, he enjoys playing mind games and thrives on unpredictability, often keeping those around him on edge with his cryptic words and sly demeanor. However, beneath his playful and sometimes infuriating antics lies a keen intellect and centuries’ worth of experience, making him an invaluable guide—especially to those who can earn his respect.
Despite serving Serena, Kuro maintains a complex moral compass of his own. While he assists her in her schemes, he does so with a knowing smirk, often nudging events toward an outcome that benefits more than just his mistress. He is neither blindly loyal nor purely self-serving; rather, he follows his own sense of amusement and intrigue, always looking for the most interesting path to take.
His relationship with Sakuya is particularly noteworthy. While their dynamic starts off as one of opposition, Kuro grows fond of the young angel’s rebellious and naive nature, seeing both potential and entertainment in him. As the series progresses, Kuro becomes an unexpected ally, offering Sakuya guidance in his own cryptic way—never directly giving answers but always pushing him toward realizing his own strength. Though he may tease and manipulate, when the moment truly calls for it, Kuro proves to be a formidable ally, using his wit and demonic prowess to aid Sakuya in ways no one else can.
Ultimately, Kuro is a paradox—both deceiver and mentor, trickster and sage. His true motives are ever-shifting, but one thing remains constant: he is always two steps ahead, watching with an amused glint in his eye as fate unfolds.

Legion Athaza is a dangerous mix of raw fury and cold calculation. His temper is infamous—when provoked, he can become an unstoppable force of rage, striking out with brutal intensity. However, unlike a mindless berserker, Legion possesses a sharp and strategic mind. He knows when to let his wrath consume him and when to restrain it, using his anger as a weapon rather than a weakness. Every move he makes is carefully planned, his ambitions resting on a foundation of meticulously crafted schemes.
Arrogant and proud, Legion sees himself as superior to those around him. He thrives on belittling his enemies, using taunts and psychological warfare to break them down before delivering the final blow. His confidence borders on narcissism, but it isn’t baseless—his intelligence and strength make him a formidable opponent, and he rarely underestimates a challenge.
Legion’s calculated nature means he isn’t reckless, even when consumed by fury. Instead, his anger fuels his plans, making him all the more dangerous. Whether manipulating allies, crushing enemies, or asserting his dominance, Legion approaches every situation as a battle to be won. He does not tolerate failure, and when things don’t go his way, his wrath is something to be feared.

Sarah is a quiet yet unwavering presence within the Athaza clan, her loyalty to Legion unquestionable. Little is known about her past, as she exists solely to serve, carrying out her duties without hesitation or question. She operates in the shadows, never seeking recognition or personal gain—her only concern is fulfilling Legion’s will, no matter the cost.
While she may not appear as openly fearsome as Legion, her actions speak volumes about her devotion. When Sakuya attacks, she does not hesitate to intervene, saving Legion’s life without a second thought. Her obedience is absolute—when ordered to take Sakuya down, she does so immediately and efficiently, proving her role as a reliable enforcer.
Sarah’s true thoughts and motivations remain a mystery. Whether her loyalty stems from fear, respect, or something deeper is unknown. What is clear, however, is that she is a force to be reckoned with—silent, deadly, and unwaveringly devoted to the Athaza name.

Toma Kyutaro is a lively and cheerful presence, bringing a sense of joy and lightheartedness wherever he goes. His personality is full of energy—fun-loving, playful, and sometimes a little too naive for his own good. He approaches the world with optimism, often seeing the best in people and situations, even when it might not be the wisest thing to do.
His close brotherly bond with Yin is one of his defining traits, as seen in Living with Steven, where Yin defended him. Toma looks up to him and values their connection deeply, often leaning on Yin for guidance when things become too complicated for him to handle.
However, Toma’s boundless enthusiasm comes with its downsides. He is noticeably impatient, as demonstrated when Sakuya was reading the Crappy Cliff Article—his interruption, “Found anything useful?”, made it clear that he lacks the patience for long-winded explanations or detailed research. He prefers action over analysis, sometimes jumping ahead without thinking things through.
Despite his occasional impulsiveness, Toma’s heart is always in the right place. His fun-loving nature makes him an enjoyable companion, and while he might not be the most strategic thinker, his loyalty and willingness to help his friends make him an important part of the group.
