23:13 (OFFICIAL ENGLISH DUB)
Project Overview
Headline: A heavy silence, a crackling campfire, and a confession that will change everything. A bittersweet short French audio drama about family, grief, and liberation.
Synopsis: A summer night in the countryside. The fire crackles, the crickets chirp. Just as they do every year on the same date and at the same time, 23:13, Matt and Faye gather at the family home to honor the memory of their father, who passed away four years earlier. But tonight, the weight of the silence is too heavy. An unexpected confession will shatter years of unspoken words, mutual sacrifices, and false mourning, revealing a truth as liberating as it is devastating.

Gender: Male
Age: 25 - 30 years old (The older sibling)
Voice Type: Medium to deep, warm but carrying a heavy emotional weight. Capable of shifting from vulnerable hesitation to intense relief.
Character Bio: Matt is the older brother. For four years, he has carried a massive burden of guilt, believing he is a monster because he secretly feels relieved by his toxic father's death. He even turned down a major promotion in Paris to stay near his sister and support her through what he thought was her deep grieving process. He is terrified of being judged.

[Low voice, lost in thought] It’s been exactly four years today.
[Blurted out, ripping off a band-aid] When the phone rang at 11:12 p.m. … my first thought wasn’t “Oh my God, that guy's dead.” It was: “It’s over. I’m free.”
[Realizing the tragic waste of time, emotional chuckle] I ruined my career to stay in this damn house with you. Because I thought you’d fall apart if I left you alone with his memory.
Gender: Female
Age: 22 - 26 years old (The younger sibling)
Voice Type: Medium, expressive, and highly nuanced. Must be able to deliver a wide emotional range: tight throat, crying, a hysterical/liberating laugh, and finally, absolute peace.
Character Bio: Faye is the younger sister. She deeply resented her father, who was constantly hyper-critical and belittling. However, believing her older brother was completely devastated by the loss, she forced herself to buy flowers and simulate grief every year just to support him. She even gave up studying abroad for his sake. She is trapped in a prison of her own kindness.

[Tight throat, emotional] Just like every year, Matt. We open the house, buy this bouquet, light a fire, and sit down. In silence. We do exactly what we’re supposed to do.
[Crying, mixed with a hysterical, nervous, and liberating laugh] You think I was crying out of sadness?! Matt... I was crying out of shame!
[Desperate] I’m twenty-four, Matt. And I feel like I’m fifty. I’m drained.
