100% Orange Juice! - English Fandub Mod (Wave 1)
Project Overview
Over the course of events in the recent years, many of us have turned to digital solutions to our boredom and social deprivation issues. What better way to do that than with a terribly engaging and pure fun board game? 100% Orange Juice!, first released by doujin circle Orange_Juice in 2009, made its way overseas 4 years later, seeing a port to Steam by Fruitbat Factory, and has seen generally positive reception ever since, even if it remains off the grid in terms of wide-scale popularity. With its flashy, vibrant boardscapes and finely-drawn anime-style characters, ranging from the whimsical modernity of QP Shooting, to the grimdark future of SUGURI and sora, as well as the fast-paced past detailed in Flying Red Barrel, the 100%OJ cast has over 50 different characters to choose from, each with their own unique mechanics and personality to fit virtually any player!
With Fruitbat having released modding support within the past two years, modding the game to provide an English dub has become a lot more feasible as of late. However, due to a lack of funds and negotiation, we are unable to make this sort of thing official (yet), so it stays just that - a mod; a perfect idea for people who want to swap between languages seamlessly as they see fit. More and more games of this nature are getting voiceover support in several languages aside from just Japanese, so in an attempt to captivate more potential audience members, we have opted to fire up this project in order to pique interest!
Fasten on your headphones, get your soundproofing, and clear your throat - it's recording time! Are you ready for the most passionate, energetic, orange-juiciest lines to ever be read? High audio quality, with little to no reverberation, fuzz, or background noise, is heavily preferred.
If anyone is looking to support us in future endeavours, feel free to ask concerning contact methods and anything related. We really appreciate any concern that goes into the quality of our production!

Hey all, The scripts for all four current characters have finally been wrapped up after a lot of determined and focused effort! They're not exact 1-to-1s from the original English dialogue, and it took some research and cross-comparing to figure out what flowed and what did not. To complement this development, estimated script length in word count has been updated for each of the four. Have fun and see you next week, coolbeans63

10-day followup!
Hello Casting Call Club, So far, the team has been astounded and pleased by the auditions for these first four characters! With that being said, we have come to clear up a few misconceptions, and / or unknown information. Think of this as an air clearing session. Q: Will roles be cast before the deadline? A: No, they will not be. No roles will be finalized before that date; the point of the deadline is to give everyone an equally weighted chance. To this end, role selections will be finalized by *Thursday, March 17th, 2022* (one week after the deadline). No submissions after the deadline will be considered. Q: None of these characters really fit my style. Will there be more? / Are you guys also doing the unlockables and DLC? A: Yes, there will be more roles in the future, split up into different projects indicating the 'wave' in which they will be released onto the Steam Workshop. The current plan is to have all of the game's current content fully dubbed over by the earlier half of 2024. That will be all for today! To prospective actors and actresses, keep up the good work, and don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for more updates like these! If you have any questions, message the project lead under *coolbeans63* on CCC.
An upbeat kemonomimi girl who basically never loses her charm - it's as impermanent as her love for custard pudding, which is to say not quite. She was brought to the wacky world of dice when a certain small miscreant up and stole her pudding one day, and now she's seeking vengeance... and pudding.
QP is in her mid-teens. She should have a voice on the higher pitch, with special emphasis on strong emotions coming out in her voice (dogs are emotional creatures, after all!). Excitable to a fault, occasionally whiny or defiant. Hyper on all fronts, but also prone to relaxation.
Required for this role are some vocal-sensitive responses such as wails, yelps, and groans of pain and exhaustion, as well as some occasional melodic speech.
[Insufferably cheerful introduction, transitioning into fantastical rambling] Hiii~! My name's QP! I'm a Pomeranian dog girl, and I love sunshine, friends, and most of all -- **pudding!** Ohhh, there's not a single thing in the world I *wouldn't* do for pudding... Mnn, sooo tastyyy...
[Confused, but transition into shaky confidence; using an unknown item] Alright, uh... I don't know what this one does, but I'll use it anyway!
[Horribly distraught and shook; someone just spoiled your pudding] Nooooo! Why would you do that to pudding?!
The sole being with human ancestry left on planet Earth 10,000 years in the future, left as the blue marble's only hope to defend against an invasion by a peculiar alien colony. She was brought into this realm after she mistook flashing lights and squealing as a high-speed game of tag, and soared across dimensions to make it there.
Suguri (pronounced SOO-goo-ree) is physically in her late teens / very early adult years. Calm, collected, observant, and deeply analytical, albeit prone to a bit of panic. Cordial to her friends, but finds her adversaries unworthy of any sugarcoating. She describes her actions very efficiently. A soft, yet firm voice in the moderate pitch range is preferred.
Required for this role are some vocal-sensitive responses such as wails, yelps, and groans of pain and exhaustion. Those who apply for this role may be contacted in the future for follow-ups.
[actively relieved, yet still cool; winning a close battle] *Sigh* ... Looks like I made it safely.
[engaging in battle with a destructive antagonist; pointedly, serious] Knowing what you're capable of... This is where it *all* comes to an end.
[struggling, somewhat short on breath; after losing a battle to a friend] Ngh... You're still... so strong... I'm impressed.
A member of the Blue Sky Union, a band of aerial defense experts and upper grade flight school (commonly referred to as 'the Guild') in bourgeois America, Marc feels as one with her aircraft - the mobile, dependable Red Barrel. She presents herself as youthful and naïve, but with a strong sense of righteousness and justice, willing to do whatever it takes to ensure things are in her interests, or of those she cares about. She was attracted to this alternate world when the aforementioned pink gremlin stole dangerous explosive munitions from her.
Marc, like QP, is in her mid-teen years. She's confident and upbeat, and is in good control of her emotions, but is sometimes vulnerable to slight frustration. For the most part, she is very firm in the decision-making department. This should all be reflected in her voice. Of the North American range, a mild Midwestern accent is preferred, but not necessary.
Required for this role are some vocal-sensitive responses such as wails, yelps, and groans of pain and exhaustion.
[Slightly brimming with energy, confident; about to start a game] Red Barrel is ready to fly!
[Wary and playfully condescending; versus a friend when he equips a peculiar item] Jeez, you really stocked up on the dumb stuff again...
[Assuring, then big and booming; when launching a rocket from her aircraft] Right on, we're fully charged -- **Fire! At! Will!**
A Japanese senior high school student who otherwise leads a generic and unassuming life, but strives to act in his own interests no matter what, and has the plot armour to reasonably do so. He's really only here because that very same pink gremlin mentioned above pilfered his wallet - and if you didn't know, students these days are strapped for cash.
Kai is in his late teens / very early adult years. He's arrogant, albeit low-key and not in-your-face about that particular attribute. He's very competitive and hot-headed, though, and when it matters, he can get passionate with his reactions - both on the positive and negative side. He recognizes that his power as the main character is not to be squandered, and cherishes it deeply. When it fails him, he's utterly distraught.
Required for this role are some vocal-sensitive responses such as wails, yelps, and groans of pain and exhaustion.
[addressing the player in an inquisitive, then confident manner; starting a game] Looks like we're headed into the game, huh? Right, then. We'll do our best!
[fiery and intimidating, with growing emphasis; preparing to attack an enemy] Taste the fury of my *fist!*
[struggling and heavily distraught; when failing to recover from misfortune] Gweeh... Why is the protagonist down on the ground...?!
