Role assigned to: Kolt | Ronnie Meza

A Japanese senior high school student who otherwise leads a generic and unassuming life, but strives to act in his own interests no matter what, and has the plot armour to reasonably do so. He's really only here because that very same pink gremlin mentioned above pilfered his wallet - and if you didn't know, students these days are strapped for cash.

Kai is in his late teens / very early adult years. He's arrogant, albeit low-key and not in-your-face about that particular attribute. He's very competitive and hot-headed, though, and when it matters, he can get passionate with his reactions - both on the positive and negative side. He recognizes that his power as the main character is not to be squandered, and cherishes it deeply. When it fails him, he's utterly distraught.

Required for this role are some vocal-sensitive responses such as wails, yelps, and groans of pain and exhaustion.

  • [addressing the player in an inquisitive, then confident manner; starting a game] Looks like we're headed into the game, huh? Right, then. We'll do our best!

  • [fiery and intimidating, with growing emphasis; preparing to attack an enemy] Taste the fury of my *fist!*

  • [struggling and heavily distraught; when failing to recover from misfortune] Gweeh... Why is the protagonist down on the ground...?!

Excellent take on Kai. Again, this sort of tone perfectly matches the 'everyman schoolguy protagonist' vibe we're going for. However, just a few critiques - there should not be a pause between 'fury' and 'of' in the second line, and the groan at the beginning of the third is not a regurgitation noise. Keep up the splendid work!

Don't worry about it! This is all just auditions anyway. You still did an excellent job and have some promising work elsewhere, too.
