Nis for Suguri (SUGURI)
The sole being with human ancestry left on planet Earth 10,000 years in the future, left as the blue marble's only hope to defend against an invasion by a peculiar alien colony. She was brought into this realm after she mistook flashing lights and squealing as a high-speed game of tag, and soared across dimensions to make it there.
Suguri (pronounced SOO-goo-ree) is physically in her late teens / very early adult years. Calm, collected, observant, and deeply analytical, albeit prone to a bit of panic. Cordial to her friends, but finds her adversaries unworthy of any sugarcoating. She describes her actions very efficiently. A soft, yet firm voice in the moderate pitch range is preferred.
Required for this role are some vocal-sensitive responses such as wails, yelps, and groans of pain and exhaustion. Those who apply for this role may be contacted in the future for follow-ups.
[actively relieved, yet still cool; winning a close battle] *Sigh* ... Looks like I made it safely.
[engaging in battle with a destructive antagonist; pointedly, serious] Knowing what you're capable of... This is where it *all* comes to an end.
[struggling, somewhat short on breath; after losing a battle to a friend] Ngh... You're still... so strong... I'm impressed.
We are quite a fan of this Suguri portrayal. You don't overdo any of her emotions or overtones whatsoever. However, the audio quality is unfavourably poor. Do you have access to other recording devices or equipment?
Thank you so much! Actually, I've only just started voice acting, so all I'm using are my headphones. I didn't really think it was that bad quality. Is there anyway I can improve the quality by some sort of application?
Actually I do have another mic, It's called Trust mico or something like that. But i never used it for an audition and I'm not sure if the quality is any better than my headphones.
Perhaps take a listen to the quality after doing a recording with the new microphone and ensuring there's no buzzing or whirring and that it sounds clear and concise?
I did test it out on my latest submission. In my opinion it’s worse, but if you’d like to take a listen you are welcome to.
