I began my acting career at age 5 when I participated in a little kids' production of "Beauty and the Beast," directed by Liza Monjauze, head of Liza Monjauze Productions at the Willows Community School (although I did not attend school there, I only did the plays outside of school for fun). I continued participating in Liza Monjauze Productions for over 10 years, until the start of my freshman year at L.A. County High School of the Arts (LACHSA). There, I was cast as the Little Match Girl in The Theatre Department's 1st Year Project, which, for that year, was themed around fairy tales. My second year at LACHSA, I was cast as Portia in our 2nd Year production of William Shakespeare's "Merchant of Venice," splitting the role with several other girls in our class.
