O’Reilly is a hot-headed NCR Communications Officer attempting to find lost NCR squads. He is upset with the NCR’s poor situation in the Frontier and makes it clear with his frequent use of profanity.

For the first audition line, you are trying to suppress your unbridled anger with sarcasm. You really wish you could be anywhere than your post right now. You would do anything to decrease casualties.

For the second audition line, you don't want to waste any time with this person. You want them to know what you are all about as soon as possible so you can quickly know whether they are a friend or a foe. You really don't care what they think of you.
