Alek is the poor unfortunate merman whumpee character of this first story. He, like the other characters of the story will not have many speaking lines, but he will require some grunts, moans, gasps ect. ect. along with his few outloud thought lines. 

Mostly Looking for a male voice that can sound more frightened, nervous and pleading rather than angry with tone. 


  • 1. "I can’t take it! Make it stop, please, make it stop!"

  • 2. "No, Wait, I can’t breathe because I-I’m not in water..."

  • 3. "D-Don’t touch me!!"

Thanks for your comment & audition! Sounds Like you really got into trying out for this one! :0 I of course won't be judging or announcing any casting decisions until after March 1st so everyone can have a fair chance at trying out, but I would like to compliment your gasps and grunts of pain as I do know those are especially hard in doing at times.
