As a military commander, Loyand can be very loud. However, his campaign is not of any government - but rather his very own cause. He’s not the kind of “bad guy leader” who would dispose of his soldiers for incompetence, so whenever discussing something with a person he considers an ally, his voice displays a lot of determination and even a bit of optimism. He wouldn’t slip up his intonation. When confronting an enemy, however, he gets riled up and raises his voice very much, sometimes to the point of shouting. You almost wouldn’t think they’re the same person.

For an accent - make sure you put on a deep voice. The accent should preferably be somewhere between eastern european (so not just necessarily Russian) and American.
